FIND ANOTHER SHOP!! Terrible customer service and NO communication!! I took my truck in for a stage 1 build after speaking with Evan (owner). I was WELL AWARE that the Ford 5R110W is not a transmission they normally work on but he asked me to bring it in anyway. I dropped it off on the day/time we had agreed on. After not hearing anything for 2 weeks, I stopped by to check on the truck and agree on an approximate date of completion. I wasn't given anything specific other than excuses about this not being what they normally work on. The girl with the colorful hair told me they should be able to get it started by the end of the following week. Once again I stopped by 2 weeks later and got nothing but more of the same excuses. I was told that they are backed up but I cannot believe that EVERYONE waits over 4 weeks before anyone even looks at their trucks... with ZERO notification of any kind. I finally decided to pick up the truck as it was there for over 1 month, UNTOUCHED!! ANY communication regarding the status of the truck would have avoided this experience. I was looking forward to having these guys work on my truck. Knowing what I know now, I don't care what they think they can do. Running a service oriented business requires PROVIDING a service... both mechanical service and customer service in this case. I have nothing good to say but stay away. Update... This guy's response does not surprise me. All lies and deceit. I NEVER CALLED, NEVER HARASSED, and I was NEVER told it was an indefinite wait. Had them rebuild my 2020 F150 10R80 transmission that got bit by the Ford engineering bug. The work performed has been flawless! This tranny didn't operate this smooth and solid when it was new! I got Evan's number from a close friend of mine. After making a couple calls and text to ask more about the Allison 1000 transmission in my truck and letting them know the use of the truck (towing and tune. GCWR of 28k) Evan took the time to talk with me about the build I need to replace the shuttering I was feeling with my stock transmission. Then, I scheduled a the repair for a week later. My lady and I drove 850 miles to Inglewood Transmission and dropped the truck off at 8am on Friday morning. Evan's team removed the transmission from the truck. Tore it down, cleaned it. Rebuilt it to the specifics we discussed on the phone (750hp build. AKA Juggernut Jr) with a new torque converter. Reinstalled the new built transmission and we got the truck back that afternoon at 5pm. YES! SAME DAY TURN AROUND!!! Oh! They also found an issue with my transfer case, called me and also sent me a video of the issue. And fixed it! (It was an extra charge but needed address and fixed) Still got the truck back at 5pm that same day! We then drove home and had ZERO issues with the truck. It drove amazing! I did a lot of research on line when I needed my Allison Transmission rebuilt in my 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a Duramax diesel , my truck has over 500 horsepower and the stock transmission didn't like pulling my 18,000 pound 5Th wheel trailer in the mountains. I could roll into the throttle and slip 5th gear. I live 1000 miles from Fullerton , Ca so I called Mike at Inglewood Transmission and he understood exactly what my needs were and let me know that they had everything I would need in stock. I found this place on diesel truck forums. They have a great reputation. I paid them $4,500 to rebuild my transmission. Long story short, my trusty died on me in just a few short miles. I've discovered that although I paid for heavy duty in put shafts, torque converters, and triple disc clutches. I ended up with s stock transmission that died in less then 20,000 miles. I will be taking them to court soon. I have pictures. But I am still very bummed that I got burned for so much money. read more
