I wouldn't go to a mainstream chiro to be honest, but AO is completely different! Just a gentle sound wave instrument realigns the atlas bone, and the relief from so many symptoms when it's in place is astounding. Less pain, brain fog. Better sleep, energy, focus, breathing. I am a super complicated tough case, & Dr Paul has persevered; The muscle release techniques he uses are helping so much; after a month, I can go longer between adjustments (which is the aim with AO!) The thing I appreciate most is his approach to take the extra time needed; advice for small practical changes that have helped so much. I've traveled from Manhattan to his new office in Bronxville. He adjusted my neck (I was actually unfortunately having an asthma attack as I was entering my interview), and I could immediately breathe, my stress level decreased immensely, I could feel my heart rate and blood pressure just come down. I was also much more focused, it felt like the fog had lifted from my brain. For example, I am always getting lost, even with google navigation, and after I left the office, I was able to drive without any problems. I would've have wanted to become his patient even if he had decided to not hire me! I am excited to learn from him, as I was very impressed, and it isn't easy for another chiropractor to truly impress me.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr Pruden from back when we each had no grey in our hair - and he remains the only chiropractor I fully trust til this day. I recently went to see him due to a new issue with damaged nerves and a slipped disc, which most chiropractors tell you they can fix in just a few adjustments. Dr Pruden took the time to read thru my entire MRI images (not just the report summary, which is what most doctors do) and showed me in great detail where my issue was, and why I would likely need surgery, which was something that my medical doctor has never told me. He also did something that NO CHIROPRACOR WOULD EVER DO which is to tell me to save my money and that for my condition, any relief would be temporary, which I have since confirmed with my doctor. Any other chiropractor would have told me that they could treat me, but it would take a commitment of 2-4 visits a week and that they could sell me a package of 10. I hope this makes clear that the in addition tio being the best chiropractor in the NY area, he also has great integrity, and he will never strong you along just to get paid. I have a $15 copay. He instructed his staff tell me my copay is $40. I said no it isn't, I always pay $15 no matter where I go for medical reasons. Here's a little background. I was told I have to show him my private documents from EOB from my health insurance holder. Those are private documents and not for him to view if I don't want him to. But he insisted on seeing them and I kept telling him no! Keep in mind Dr Forman is in my plan he must Obeid by the plan's rules/amount of copayment. Or else he is in violation of the terms of the contract with the insurance company he himself agreed to when joining into the plan. When my health Insurance rep called him with me on the phone. She asked him why he is charging me more than my copayment actually is ($15.) Dr Forman's exact words were " would you work for what your plan pays out?" My health insurance rep said, "your legally and contractually bonded to that amount and not allowed to charge more. You're in our network and under contract." We'll he didn't like that, he got nasty fast and hung up in her face. I had to fight with him (figuratively speaking) for two copays that he knowingly and willingly overcharged me for. Of which in time he unwilling paid back to me only because he knew he was caught! red handed. I later came to find I was not the only person he has been doing this too. I have to mention how he unethically, rudely, insultingly and disrespectfully in the company of others be they staff or patients as me. treats his staff. He absolutely is rude and disrespectful. I as well as my mother who accompanied me to his office witnessed the same behavior. He puts on a good show in front of people but once you start questioning why your copay is high, he turns into a different person. PS, his so-called billing lady is never in the office, because there is no billing lady as he states. I also spoke to one of his past employees, she said he has been doing his unsavory ways for a long time. Good luck to whomever goes to him. how he treats his staff is unequivocally rude and disrespectful.
