My daughter needed her wisdom teeth removed and when it was time to go to the exam room for the consult we were told only one parent could go back. They ultimately said the reason was because their rooms were small. We were the ONLY patients in the office at the time. I asked if someone from the office would be relaying the info discussed back to the other parent. I was told no. They would only do one consult. It would be my responsibility to relay the medical info back to the other parent. Why would a non licensed parent be responsible for doing that?! Also what if the other parent had questions that I had not asked. They were not going to assist. So I asked if there was anyway to reconsider given that no one else was in the office but us. The front receptionist , ABBY, stated she would ask. I do not feel that his was actually done. I would have a hard time believing that a medical doctor would have delivered the answer that we got. She returned and simply reiterated their one parent policy and that the parent must relay the info back to the other and then stated that they would not be seeing this patient and we would need to find another doctor. Simply because we had asked them to reconsider. (I woudl note that we had agreed that if she came back and stated she asked and thier policy would remain we would agree to it) but her response was to send us away. She stated that due to us asking this we were non-complaint and then when i stated i would love to hear this from the dentist because in my mind I was in shock that the dentist actually responded that way she indicated the dentist refused to talk to us becuase were non complaint. So essentially because parents wanted to both havve the option to ask questions and hear what was going to be done especially since they were going to put her to sleep we were told to leave. I will do my best to make sure that our dentist office stops referrals to this company and specially this office. And unfortunately for this dentist I will have to assume that what ABBY told me to be the truth about this dentist and that he has no compassion for patients & preferred to just hide in his office drinking coffee because he was not seeing patients as no one else was there.

I have one complaint about an issue that can be avoided as long as you never call the phone number for anything more than an appointment. The phone is answered by someone who is not in that office, and will not want to transfer your call to the location where you are receiving services. I got pretty upset when they wouldn't transfer me, and were calling the location to answer my questions, which led to additional questions that they wanted to continue handling the same way. They are the experts and should know what each insurance covers before performing procedures, they should then ask if the patient is ok paying for charges not covered by the insurance. They took two types of x-rays, instead of one, when the insurance covers only one of those types of x-rays every 5 years. I ended up having to pay for their mistake.
