A quick stop after work The ambiance is just so beautiful They have a outdoor close area where they serve hookah for $45 It gives a lounge vibe! The food is as soo good, I had the crab cake with actual crab The drinks are strong The music is nice (serving Afro beat n hip hop vibes) The service was truly stunning! Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Especially the host! The price is RIGHT, affordable in today's world Will definitely be back

My partner is a content creator and he was invited by Inine Bistro to try the food. He had never been there, nor had he tried the food before. Me being an elite and visited twice (most recently 3 weeks ago), I gave him great feedback about my experiences based on the Elite events. I had always wanted to return on a non-elite occasion to see what it's like, especially for their weekday events. He agreed to try them out and we were off to the races for a Thursday night dinner. Before I go further, I'd like to preface by saying, he was offered a complimentary meal as part of his review of the restaurant. I attended as his +1 thus, my meal was also comped. As a patron and Yelp elite, I was not offered anything in exchange for my personal feedback and this review is solely about my experience. Aside from the management he connected with, there is no one I'm aware of that knew I was a Yelp elite either. Now onto our experience. Upon entering, we were welcomed and seated in the back/lounge area. We stopped by on a Thursday evening which to my surprise, was karaoke night. There were also specials, including $1 wings! Love it! The backlounge area is a calm, cozy space with lounge chairs and dining tables. It is also dimly lit with a few TVs and a projection screen on the wall, while a nice variety of music plays in the background. Moreover, menus are provided using tablets which makes things very efficient. Karaoke did not start until about 7pm. There was'nt a lot of participation but the host was a great sport and came around welcoming folks to get involved. They seemed to have a nice selection of songs and the vibe was free of judgement. As an added bonus, anyone who participated was offered a free shot. For food, I started out with the veggie Inine I've had them before and they were consistent - the veggies were sauteed perfectly, the crust was hot and crispy, and they were seasoned just right. The only difference was that these were much bigger than I'm used to. During the Elite events they were mini sized. For the entree, I went for the rasta pasta with jerk salmon. The pasta was cooked nicely and the sauce was deliciously creamy with a slight kick of Jerk spice and perfectly sauteed veggies tossed in. On the other hand though, I was'nt amazed with the salmon. It's a very nice portion of a skinless filet that has been grilled with a dry-rub jerk spice. It had a pretty moist flesh and the spice was mild. Overall, it was'nt bad, it tasted alright, just nothing spectacular. If I had to suggest improvements, I would've preferred it with a crispy skin. I'm also not a huge fan of the dry-rub seasoning, I like a wet marinade. With the dry rub, it was more like a blackened salmon versus jerk but I think it makes sense since the rasta pasta is already moist. My partner had the oxtails with a side of jollof rice and salad. I took a piece of oxtail, it was good and consistent with the tasting I had last year. My sample of the Jollof was slightly peppery but overall ok. I've only had Ghanian jollof in the past, so I'm not sure I'm experienced enough to compare it with anything but it definitely tasted authentic to what I would think of when it comes to the broadness of African cuisine. To complete our meal, I had a slice of the New York style cheesecake with the berry hibiscus sauce. Unfortunately, the berry sauce was not tasty and the texture of the cheesecake was too soft. I would definitely skip it in the future. As for drinks, my partner had the 'One Love' cocktail. It's a huge drink that's really meant for two people but I'm pregnant. He tried to finish it on his own but couldn't lol. Finally, in an effort to support the business, I purchased some BBQ beef Inine patties to take home and I left a tip as a thank you. In terms of service, the staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. Furthermore, they were knowledgable when it came to the menu. No matter what question we had, they were able to answer us and offer recommendations, which I appreciated. The speed of service was also great with the exception of the desserts which took some time. All-in-all though, it was a good dining experience. I was really pleased to come back and try them outside of the Yelp experience and honestly, they did not disappoint. I would return in the future and I would recommend to others. I am especially looking forward to their Taco Tuesday. The vibe is an ideal for an after-work drinks or meal, date night, or solo time.

iNine Bistro is a vibrant and lively restaurant serving Caribbean and West African cuisine. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Welcoming vibe, lovely decor, and the flavors of the food were literally to die for. My favorites were the beef patties, island oxtails with coconut rice is a must have, and the chocolate brownie was so delicious. My husband enjoyed his steak and cheesecake. Great spot for date nights or a night out with friends. Highly recommend and a must visit for a fun dining experience in the Bronx.

This place may seem small at first glance, but I love that it opens up in the back with a huge TV/projector area and plenty of lounge seating, making it a great spot to chill. I remember my first time coming here during Covid and didn't even know that there was a back area option. The oxtails had a different flavor than your typical Caribbean restaurants, but they were still really good. The lamb was surprisingly delicious as well, which I wasn't expecting. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, with lovely drinks and hookah options to enhance your time here. The music selection also adds to the overall experience, making it a great place to hang out. Now, let's talk about the food: the wings were cooked to perfect crispiness, and the lamb sliders were absolutely unforgettable. I'd come back just for those alone. Love the convenient location.

Goid bread pudding and Tres Leche. The karyoke was do fun. Great music and crowd.

Mott Haven's IININE Bistro is a real treasure. The restaurant is a cozy size, with a couple of dining tables but as soon as you walk through and enter the back, you will be taken to a charming garden that's perfect for gatherings! There areTVs, they offer karaoke, and a DJ some nights. The outdoor garden is the perfect spot for photography. Its comfortable space and it makes it the ideal location for get-togethers. The menu offers a wide range of options, including wings, seafood, and burgers. The cuisine is excellent. That jerk salmon was delicious, and I ate it with coconut rice on the side. I will definitely come back!

Taco Tuesday and vibes!! Service was excellent food even better!!!

This place is a Gem! So, everything that I said about the place previously was true. This time my experience was just much better thank god! Someone told me that there was a patio space in the back which I wasn't introduced to the first and last time I came. So this time the waitress asked which seating do I prefer. Once I said patio she walked us toward the back where the liveliness was. The place was cute and welcoming music was pumping drinks flowing and everyone was chill on this Sunday around 8pm I ordered a rum punch with a burger and fries. The burger was seasoned well and it was juicy. So freaking good! My friend ordered a lemon drop and wings with a cream brûlée. From the looks of her wings and as far as what she told me, they tasted like Everything! The crem brûlée was also GREAT! I have nothing but good things to say this time around and I'm happy I decided to give it a 2nd chance! Will be returning :)

Walking into the restaurant you see an intimate place with rich deep colors, brick on one side and a large mural on the opposite side. We walked past and sat in their patio/garden area with outdoor sofas, a swing for 2 and an area with a screen for Projection TV/DJ area. The waitress was very kind and took our order quickly. I had the Grilled hanger Steak taco w/ Chimichurri sauce/ Cotija cheese and also the lamb sliders. The food was seasoned well, tasty and hot. I also had the nephew punch which tasted good and packed a punch. The selection of food and tastes reflect the varied international aspects of the owners. It was truly a flavorful meal.

Servers were nice is all I can say! Party of 3 ALL of our food was BURNT! ALL the food. They swapped out one of the burnt sliders, the 2nd one was over cooked, but not burnt. Idk who went there and had this amazing food. But it was not there when we visited. Just look at the pictures provided. I ate the inside of the patty and left the dough, it was so over cooked. Fish tacos were previously frozen, which would.have been ok had they not fried them. They even burnt the slider buns, how u burn bread smh. This needs to be evaluated by the inspectors. Then they added a 20% service fee for using my card without mentioning it prior because we had cash? Hope it went towards the tip. I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH VIDEO SO PPL CAN UNDERSTAND THE EXPERIENCE.

Located in East Harlem, the subway took me to 103rd Street. A steep hill fortified my appetite. Cafe D'Anvers is easy to spot with it's inviting red exterior. Laura was at the table. Jackie greeted us cheerfully. We came here for Moules Frites which we ordered and a glass of Sancerre to wash it down. Two large kettles were put down in front of us with plenty of mussels and a separate bowl of fries. Mayo and ketchup to dip the fries. I prefer mayo. We ate our way enjoying the meal. Dessert was vanilla ice cream with a sour cherry sauce and their signature chocolate mousse with strawberries and puffs of whipped cream. Both desserts satisfied immense. I recognized the mousse cups as I had bought them at Eataly. Jackie told us that they make the mousse and have an account with Eataly to sell it there. Laura and I enjoyed our lunch here. I also spied Jo Malone hand wash of English Pear and Freesia in the gender neutral restroom. Cafe D'Anvers is a cozy restaurant with both seating and a bar area. I am looking forward to another meal here.

A homeless did stumble in trying to convenience the staff to give him something for free, which they were able to get rid of the person politely after many pleas. Never-the-less, service was great, given that I was the only person they had to take care of.

This restaurant is a bit tough to rate. I came here for a coffee. I ended up getting some breakfast…read moretoo. I got a Iced Latte decaf with regular milk. It was pretty good. To eat I got the egg sandwich with ham, cheese and it came with tomatoes and lettuce. There was one slice of what I think was American cheese and it was on a brioche. Looked like a hamburger bun and it was small. I thought the eggs would be scrambled by they were over easy or over hard or something as they were not runny and not scrambled. It comes with fries but , I opted out of fries or a side salad. The sandwich had no taste really and it was pretty oily. I was disappointed in it especially, because of the price of it. This restaurant was empty with one table being used when I came as I came around 10am so it was still early. But the decor in this restaurant is very pretty and elegant. They have a back area with more tables and chairs and a nice looking bar area. Will I come back and try something else for either lunch or dinner or to have a drink? well maybe. I mean the staff were nice though when I placed my food order and explained to them my food allergies there was a bit confusion, they thought I was allergic to only potatoes because I opted out of having french fries but that was not the case. She had to have one of the other guys come over to hear what my allergies were. They both were nice but felt a little rushed while telling them my allergies. I rate this 3.5-4stars. I wanted to rate it a bit higher because of the gorgeous interior.

For instance, the pistachio crusted salmon is $28 online which is a good deal for the area and $38 there which is a bit much among other dishes. There are also missing things from the online menu such as the grilled octopus. Anyway, I was here recently at this pretty new restaurant with a small group of 5 others. The menu online is listed as Mediterranean and Italian but I found more stuff on here to be Italian and in general, there's a lot of seafood on the menu. I am quite aware how new this spot is because I was (rather unfortunately) at a prior cafe at the same exact location called Atelier which was Middle Eastern and French influenced which was absolutely terrible but luckily this place is much better. There is ample rooms between the different tables and the lighting is nice. The music, or rather muzak, are covers of songs which don't really fit here such as Despacito (I can't believe I heard this at a Yorkville place) but at least the volume was low. The service was a tad slow and didn't pay attention well enough but I presume some of this will improve as the place has been here longer and I'm not surprised how long the meal lasted because it's Yorkville/the UES. They gave us several types of bread to munch on with a couple pieces on each side not matching and there are bottles of olive oil. The best of the breads were the grissini/breadsticks and there was a piece of olive bread which was pretty tasty also but all of them were good. I went with a special of the day as my appetizer which was the Soft Polenta with mixed vegetables and tomato sauce for $24. This was pretty pricey but the portion size was probably big enough for two to share. The polenta texture was fine and warm while the vegetables (zucchini, carrot, eggplant, tomatoes, some other stuff) was much hotter on top which was a bit odd. I wish that there was more of said vegetables because this was the best part of it with the tomato sauce being quite nice. Another person had two appetizers as their meal and enjoyed the Fritto Misto as well as the Eggplant Napoleon. My main dish was the Pistachio Crusted Salmon which is listed online as $28 with citric fennel and butter. However, as said, the actual menu version is an extra $10 more and has a lemon-capers vin blanc sauce instead along with sweet potato puree and asparagus. I have no complaints about the protein as the salmon was good quality, they gave a pretty decent portion, and it was cooked very nicely with me personally having ordered it as rare and it coming out as such being fork tender and quite buttery. My issue instead of the fish was the pistachios as while the dish was listed as crusted, the pistachio flavor was almost muted being more of a topping than a crust which was unfortunate. The asparagus below were fine and the puree which took up the majority of the plate had a good texture and the flavor was fine. Overall, the dish was good but not almost $40 good. Another person had the Spaghetti Special with cherry tomatoes, calamari, and fra diavlo sauce for $42 (also available with shrimp instead for $36 on the main menu) which they enjoyed, one person had the Fettuccine Bolognese, and another person split the same salmon dish with someone else along with I believe the whole Mediterranean Branzino which they enjoyed. For dessert, another person ordered the chocolate cake at the end for us to share which which was a good portion but unfortunately was a bit dry with another person at the table saying that was probably a bit old. I was happy that it wasn't too sweet though I did find it dry with the crust at the end being the best part as it had a good texture. From the completely different price points and menu to the service woes to the minor issues with dishes, it's hard for me to give this spot a higher rating. The chef clearly knows how to cook everything perfectly but the little faults add up. Mid 3 lowered.

After going to some uptown gallerie,s, I thought I'd have it again with coffee while sitting inside to write. (You know, people often write or use a computer at a cafe.) It was chilly outside. I had just taken my boot offm and walking up the stairs would be contraindicated. Upstairs had just been closed. I approached the bar in the restaurant, separated by the cafe by a black curtain. I asked if I could sit at a small table. At least two others were empty. I was told I could sit at the bar, presumably with cafe things I said I'd buy. The bar was too small to write. I went outside to eat and write. It was chilly. The danish was DRY. I could easily have gone to any of thousands of NYC or Queens places, or gone home to make a cappuccino, have a snack, or cook even something simple to taste brilliant as my food does. I asked after some minutes to sit at the bar to write for a while. I observed, and told them that no one had sat at that small table. I know they need restaurant seats. I would have sat for about half an hour, an hour the most, and moved (after half an hour) if it had been the only table left and dinner customers were waiting. I had finished eating. The man, maybe the owner, said that it is not a SHELTER. He said they were different businesses. They had not told me that earlier. So build a wall between them! I will not return, or even buy a coffee again from there, or suggest it to anyone. You know how often restaurants close.
