No music or any attempt to chat (the latter of which I'm fine with, but some may be put off by it). She did turn on some music briefly for 15 minutes when the products had to settle, but every song was followed by advertisements, so not at all relaxing - was not given any follow-up care tips until I specially asked about them I would have been able to overlook some of the things above if the results came out nice, but unfortunately they didn't. Day after: - corner eyelid has a tiny area that's red and raw (and painful to touch); I'm guessing it may have been burned from chemicals used. I had mentioned the stinging during appt, but was told it's normal - right eyelid slightly swollen - eyelashes are not even; very jagged The reason I gave two stars as opposed to just one is that the technician seemed friendly enough. If you want to pamper yourself, this place is definitely not what you're looking for. Based on the other reviews, I'm assuming she just did a bad job on me as she was rushing to be somewhere else... Terrible experience…read more I went twice--both times she was late and made me wait about an hour. Once she even called while I was already on my way to push the appointment out again. The eyebrows came out way too dark for my skin tone and look bad. When I asked to cancel and get a refund, she argued instead of taking responsibility. It's been over a month and I still haven't received any credit. Unprofessional, poor results, and zero accountability. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Loved her work through photos but saw she wasn't accepting new clients and had a waitlist. Thankfully this was 3 months before my move so I expressed interest and she told me to message her again closer to my move. I guess one of her clients moved away so I got lucky and I'm glad! She's in a little studio tucked away, but it is close to Belmont Caltrain station and was just a 15 minute walk from my apartment. I love that she put lash decorations on her door to make it easier to find :) Cindy is very warm, loving, and friendly. I had just met her and she was already treating me like I was a client of hers for years. I had lashes on already from my previous place and she said she could work with what was there vs needing an entirely new set. She also asked me what look I wanted to achieve and she said it would take a couple more sessions since we are building off what's already there. My eyebrows are very blonde, so I used to have to put on brow gel or wax/powder to color them in, otherwise I look washed out. I went to Anna to get my eyebrows done. She worked with me to choose the ideal shape by first sitting with me at a mirror while she colored in my eyebrows with a pencil before starting, and then 30 minutes later: VOILA!! The color looks natural and is subtle, but highly effective. I absolutely LOVE it. Gone are the days (seriously, collectively hours of my life) staring in the mirror trying to get the right shape and color right. Because I liked the results of the eyebrows so much, I asked Anna if the eyeliner would work with my fair skin. She reassured it would so I scheduled the appointment and have the same results: natural looking eyeliner on my top lid that is subtle but very effective. Again, I absolutely love it. Anna is fantastic to work with and the staff are equally friendly, helpful and professional. For anyone fair skinned who has been curious but hesitant about semi-permanent eyebrow or eyeliner, I highly recommend that you wait no more. Anna is the person to go see. It's worth it.
