NU Med Spa officially has my heart…read more I usually just tag along with my wife to her beauty appointments, so I've seen a handful of places! different vibes, different service, all of it. But this one? It honestly beats them all. This spa sets the standard, no question. The moment we walked in, it just felt right. And then I met Rose... yeah, she's my favorite. She was literally going out of her way bringing me samples, throwing in discounts, handing me coupons!!! just pure good energy. I kept telling her not to waste anything on me, like seriously don't give me samples... and she just kept insisting. INSISTING You can't fake that kind of care. Our appointment was with Annabelle, and she was an absolute doll. Super knowledgeable, but what stood out was how she explained everything while she was doing it. Step by step, she made sure we actually understood what was happening and why. We did the Pico laser treatment! I had a bunch of dark spots, and one of them literally popped louder than the others. She broke it down right there, explaining how darker pigment needs deeper penetration. That kind of detail? You don't get that everywhere. Long story short, this is the place. Whether it's Botox with Lindsay, facials with Liana D, or any other treatment--they've got it dialed in. The space is beautiful, the music is calming, and they've got refreshments ready like they actually want you to sit back and enjoy being there. Trust me you won't regret it. Happy with my Botox Happy with my Facial Happy with my Laser Treatment Thank you, NU Med Spa

So I asked if I could just get some botox to help a specific area (wrinkle) above my lip. I was given 6 units and Ki chose the amount not offering an amount that might have made a difference. Hence, I'm not seeing any difference in the specific area that was really bothering me. Ki had said I would see a difference but I don't so I wonder why I wasn't offered a little more. I was certainly willing to pay for more if it would have helped.

I've been a customer here for a while and have generally had positive experiences, which is why…read moretoday's visit caught me so off guard. The whole thing felt like something out of a sitcom. At first, I wanted to laugh, but the longer it went on, the more uncomfortable I became. When I arrived, I was told I wasn't on the schedule, even though I had made my appointment earlier that day. After switching computers and asking for additional information, the receptionist eventually found my appointment. From there, things got awkward. I understand people come here for laser hair removal, and it's nothing to be ashamed of, but there were other clients sitting in the lobby and it felt like my treatment details were being announced for everyone to hear. The receptionist has one of those voices that really carries, and I repeatedly heard "lip, cheek, chin" being announced throughout my check-in process. To make matters more uncomfortable, there was a lengthy discussion about whether I had any underarm sessions remaining on my package. I questioned it because I thought I still had some left, but instead of a quick explanation, it felt like my entire service history was being reviewed out loud. I was asked multiple times if I wanted to look at the computer screen and review appointments, but honestly, I just wanted to move on. Maybe I'm overly sensitive, but hearing discussions about facial hair, treatment areas, package balances, and hair regrowth in a public waiting area made me want to crawl into a hole. Yes, I have hair on my lip, cheeks, and chin. That's literally why I was there. But I'd prefer not to feel like it's being broadcast to the room. What made the experience especially disappointing is that I walked in excited about the summer sale and was fully planning to purchase additional treatment packages. By the end of the appointment, I felt so uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave. Buying more services was the last thing on my mind. When I finished my treatment, all I wanted to do was leave and avoid the front desk. I was again offered a review of my appointment history and encouraged to schedule my next visit and then was told that I should really be consistent to avoid regrowth. I know everyone was trying to be helpful, but at that point I was ready to walk out the door with literally the door open and one foot out. I just kept smiling and saying no thank you, but it felt like that wasn't a good enough response. I think I was especially surprised because I've always had great experiences with Shayna, who has consistently been professional, discreet, and made me feel comfortable. This experience felt very different. The treatment itself and the nurse giving the treatment was great, but I hope management takes this feedback to heart. A little more discretion when discussing clients' services and treatment history in the lobby would go a long way in making customers feel more comfortable.

I had a lipoma Id been living with for 20 years on my left Shoulder I couldn't get anyone to help…read moreme so I decided to try the Kryger plastic surgery institute in Thousand Oaks Ca. Last year I received my Medicare along with a supplement plan so I was happy to find out that this procedure (which is not cosmetic) would be covered. From the time I entered the facility I was greeted very warmly by the front desk and also the administrator. I met with the doctor and he assured me this procedure could be done in office without an outside facility. He also reassured me that this procedure would be paid for by my Medicare and supplement plan. What I like about this place is the surgeries are performed st this facility as he has his operating rooms inside. Dr Kryger was fantastic when I had the procedure in the operating room. I was awake and given a local all of the nurses and the doctor were talking in the operating room and having a great time and I believe it was to calm me down. As they were going through the procedure they asked me what I wanted to name my lipoma when it was removed! Lol. It took a bit to get it all but and he did a fantastic job. I was pain free as well after!! I highly recommend this place if you need a plastic surgery procedure. The operating nurses and the staff and insurance biller and especially the doctor were top notch. This is the place to go thank you Dr Kryger you gave me my life back Kerri Standing
