I also told her my new job starts the following Monday and my daughter's birthday was the upcoming Saturday. Normally this would not have been an issue as it would have been all healed up by then. I have been getting fillers and Botox for about 20 years now. I have always gone to Peter Karlsberg, MD in Ventura, but I wanted to stay local in Camarillo and get some fillers. I told the technician who was putting the numbing cream on me that this will only last 10 to 15 minutes on me. Same with Novacaine ect. I asked him to please do not wait too long as the numbing effect will dissipate. I'll make this short despite the fact that it is not. These are the treatments I received from Veronica: 2 syringes of Voluma RHA 2/ RHA 3 It was not as some of these reviews state. Yes they were friendly, as they should be. As well, some post that they are reasonably priced, their products are higher than the average M.D doing fillers in the Ventura County area. I had specifically expressed to Veronica that my 1st priority was my Nasolabial folds (lines between your nose and cheeks) needed filler. Veronica said that it was due to bone loss and she couldn't use filler above the nostril line.... ???? This was 'a first' in 15 plus years. My 2nd priority was my lips, I like them fairly full and puffy/pouty, which we also discussed. By the time we got to the injections the numbing cream had worn off, and it has in the past but they just reapply numbing cream and wait 5 minutes, yet this was not the case in this facility. The injections in my cheek bones were extremely painful as I could feel everything. When Veronica started on my lips I came out of my seat. I told her I could feel that and I am not numb any longer. Veronica's response was that there is lidocaine to help with the numbing, yet that was after it pierced your skin that was not numb. Veronica used 2 syringes of Voluma in my cheek bones, which after the product settles it leaves a dip between your lower eyelid and cheekbone if too much filler is injected. So, that is now what I have. My lips, I will need to go back to my Dr, Dr Peter Karlsberg in Ventura to have my lips redone and fill the pockets under each of my eyes. The total cost of this experience was $2435.00 with $1500.00 paid in cash (no cash discount-very unusual) I have included photos from the day after up to this morning of very visible bruising. After not visiting for a while, I decided to try Dysport instead. Candy reviewed my chart and used what I believe was the equivalent dose in a different toxin. Unfortunately, after spending about $600, I was left with a prominent horizontal line in the middle of my forehead that hadn't been addressed. I returned for a follow-up, and Candy offered to add more product, but explained there wasn't much she could do because of the proximity to my brow. I understand that treating near the brow requires caution, and I've had that discussion with other providers before. However, this particular line is in a different area and has always been treated successfully by previous injectors. Five weeks later, the line is still very noticeable and is something I see every day. Would I return? Probably. The office is convenient, and I've had good experiences in the past. However, I would have a more detailed conversation beforehand about the treatment plan and my expectations to make sure we're on the same page, especially as my face and treatment needs change over time.

In the last few years, Doctor Weitzbach's annual skin cancer checks have found 2 cancers (one requiring radiation and one Mohs surgery) and numerous pre-cancers requiring freezing. The two most serious cancers were caught so early that second opinions from plastic surgeons verified Dr. Weitzbach's early detection saved us from potentially disfiguring surgery that would have been required if the tumors had been allowed to grow. His and his team's treatment of our children has been equally exceptional. Whether treating severe adolescent acne with Accutane, strategies for Psoriasis or simple acne facials, we could not have asked for more or better treatment. Did I mention that they have a pharmacy on the premises so you don't have to go running to the drugstore after your doctors visit? Convenience and competence...
