vaughn needs to chill out and do some yoga…read more.. i had two tattoos and a piercing done here; eli, kate and ali... they are all absolutely LOVELY and i would have given this studio 5 stars if it hadn't been for today's completely terrible and disappointing experience. i had a 1pm apt with eli, we had been planning this artwork out for over a month and i know my design was tricky and complicated. eli did sooo so much to make sure i was completely satisfied, he was working on the drawing for over an hour and i really appreciated his attention to detail. i knew too that he would execute this amazingly and exactly as i had wanted it. so the design i wanted was the flower of life, but taking over my shoulder. the flower of life is sacred geometry; what this entire fabric of what we call reality is woven of. i see it all the time and it's literally everywhere. when it came to placing the stencil on my shoulder, i knew the design would not be perfect because of the limitations of this physical reality. i obviously understand that he didn't want the design to look bad, and appreciate it, but i literally saw the solution so clearly and also had so much confidence in eli and his artwork. vaughn started insulting the tattoos that i have, saying 'it's not my fault you have two fucked up tattoos' (they're not, btw) and then began literally YELLING at me. it was at this point that i couldn't proceed with eli and i's work, so asked him to wipe it off so i could leave. as a business owner, i would never speak to a customer that way, as you aren't a business without customers, lol. also, as a human, don't fucking yell at people, you have no idea what's going on in their lives. baaaaadddd vibessss. the way he acted was completely unprofessional, totally unnecessary and i will absolutely never step foot into the space again after being treated like complete garbage.

Rob couldn't have been more different than the other guy I saw at the bad tattoo parlor. He was kind and patient. He made me feel very comfortable after my previous terrible experience. He himself was upset at the bad work and scar the original "artist" left me with. He worked wonders on that mess the other dude left me with and I'm very happy with the result. Ive been there multiple occasions where she never came in for appointments or was hours late. But besides that she killed my elbow piece I let her do her idea of what would look better rather than my idea of solid color she shaded it and used white ink that I'm always ask if it's real because of how great it came out. She did such good small line work and being on my elbow is great. If you're looking for a comfortable atmosphere I recommend them, they've made my tattoo experiences great.

I had a vision of what I wanted done as a tribute to my sons and from my initial inquiry through the finishing touches they helped me bring it to life. Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. South Shore has my highest recommendation and has definitely won a repeat customer with me. Can't wait to do it again.

Visit Date: February 9, 2020…read more So I followed Marc Salerno (like he was my favorite musician) to this tattoo shop because I loved the tattoos he did for me when he was at space ace and I currently need tattoos for happiness so I've booked appointments with him until May with more to follow because I am getting an arm sleeve and than maybe more tattoos down my spine after that. The tattoos shop itself reminds me of someone's comfy living room with a tattoo shop inside. I'm also able to bring my son with me which is a plus especially because the appointments I have are during a time where I'm not sure if I could get anyone to watch him. For this recent visit Marc tattooed an open book on my arm. This is the second tattoo that's on my arm sleeve, I already had a black rose with a red ribbon on it from years ago. Marc is amazing, we have a good tattoo artist/tattooey vibe going on and he seems to be able to figure out what I'd like before I've completely figured it out. I'm not sure if he does that for all his clients but I can say that for myself. So I'm definitely impressed with East End Tattoo and if you're going to get an appointment here definitely book with Marc if you can. They chat you up a bit and then you meet your artist. In my case I had Chris Raft who was an expert in eastern and Japanese traditional tattoos. He draws up an example, prints it out and brings you back into the room. This place has separate rooms for each artist. Super clean and upscale looking. He laid down the stencil making sure it's positioned in the exact way wanted. He laid down the finest outline I ever had, filled it in with color that was flawless in every way. Talking the whole time making me feel comfortable. Super cool guy, when it's all done give you the opportunity to review it, take your photos for the gram, and gives you two different ways of protecting it. They have a second skin and the old school way of protecting your investment. The prices here are on the higher end but the services justified the price. You have to remember this is a permanent investment and you shouldn't go by price alone. I will be coming back here to get more work done with Chis in the very near future.
