As opposed to using a separate needle for shading, he used the same needle as the line work. During the healing process, the tattoo scabbed over and when the scab fell off the tattoo was completely faded and scared over. I've never had this experience in my life and my whole left arm is tattooed. Would never ever recommend this shop to anyone nor will I ever return. First and last time. I spoke to Jess about what I wanted, and explained an issue I was having with a current piercing. Jess listened to all of concerns and about what I wanted for my new piercing. She didn't rush me and actually listened and gave me feedback. Then, in the chair I was. Before I knew it Jess took care of one of my piercings and then I had the new piercing I wanted. Jess had such a gentle touch and made sure I was comfortable. We even made some small talk during the short piercing process. Immediately the piercer at cliffs said it was horribly low, not properly done, pierced through the cartilage, and at risk for rejecting through the bottom of my nose. Got a second opinion at Notorious tattoo, where they also said it was completely wrong. Called them to politely ask for a refund, they said since we didn't notice an Issue within 24 hours they won't refund. They won't even admit they screwed it up. I'm sorry but I paid a "professional" $108 and I tipped 20, how am I supposed to know that it was done improperly. Thankfully the ball did fall off otherwise I wouldn't have been aware how botched it truly was. Extremely unprofessional and from what I can tell this is a common theme with them in their reviews.
