10/10 recommend Olivia! I've had two sessions (3 tattoos) with her and both times were amazing experiences. I originally found her via Instagram - I was looking for a talented female artist to give me a bindrune on my chest. Because it was a spiritually meaningful tattoo, it was important for me to find an artist that I felt like I could feel safe with through the process. I've been through a number of different tattoo processes and the experience of receiving the tattoo is just as important to me as the tattoo itself. Olivia was amazing from the start. She was highly communicative and professional - I was able to send her my design thoughts and she sent back her design and we collaborated before our tattoo session. She was clear and concise about appointment information and i walked in knowing what to expect and she did not disappointment! As a person, she's fucking awesome - getting a tattoo with her is like sitting with a good friend for a chat for a few hours. We laughed and talked about life and kids. She provides a safe space where you can feel comfortable to voice yourself and she always wants to make sure you're part of the tattoo process. She made the tattoo exactly as I wanted and I loved every part. A year or so later, I went back to her to get mirrored snakes on both my arms. Another amazing experience - we collaborated and the design turned out beautiful. I had my boyfriend go to her to finish up two half sleeves that another artist never finished and she did a wonderful job. Background: About 16 years ago, we found an artist who did Japanese calligraphy. He painted our Okinawan last name for us to frame. My husband wanted to get it tattooed on his back along with other members of our family. That's when I changed my mind about getting it done.... The guy that did my husband's did NOT make it look like the calligraphy we brought in. No brush strokes. Not what I wanted. Looked at artists over time... still didn't have faith in anyone in particular. Until I found Oli while researching shops on yelp then finding her on IG. My daughter had asked to get hers done as a birthday gift and I decided to get mine done with her. Olivia was awesome to work with!! She was quick to respond and really understood what we wanted. Our Experience: Beyond amazing. Shop, super clean. She's also just SO friendly and welcoming that any nerves we really had just disappeared. It was actually so fast and comfortable that time flew by and was really like we spent it just chatting/hanging out with a good friend we'd known forever! lol We are SOOOO thrilled with our tattoos and I'm beyond grateful I put my faith in Oli!!! The only artist I'll go to hands down is "Oli" I'm serious she's the best. I gave her an inspo picture on what I wanted on my neck & guys let me tell you it came exactly like it!!!! Down to every detail!! I was super nervous but, like every local tattoo artist will tell you "Ahh no worries you got dis" & I already knew I was in good hands & planning my next tattoo & of course she was going to be the one to do it. A month later, I was back in that chair ready for another one. I gave her a bunch of inspo pics for a sleeve tattoo & couldn't really decided what I wanted but, she was really patient with me. I finally decided on a floral piece & I couldn't be happier. Her vibe & personality made it even better so I wasn't as nervous as I was the first time I walked through those doors. Olivia was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was responsive, a great collaborator, and easy to work with. She made my vision a better reality than I could have imagined. Booking with her was by far easier than any artist I had tried to book an appointment with. This was my first larger tattoo of significance with a special meaning close to my heart. She sent me rough draft designs overlaid on pictures of my chest so I could invision it before the big day. When that day came she crushed it. Olivia is amazing! Throughout the entire process of getting the tattoo she was helping me every step of the way. Before the appointment, when I was not completely sure on what I wanted for my design she provided artistic ideas and detailed examples that helped me decide on a great piece. During the session she said if I needed any breaks to let her know, but she was so light handed and skilled that I didn't need to take any breaks at all. After the tattoo was complete she took time to explain what I need to do after the derm shield falls off so I can make sure my tattoo looks it's best. Olivia first worked in my arm a year ago after agreeing to pick up where another artist left me high and dry. I came to get my 18th birthday tattoos with Oli and they came out exactlyy like I had imagined-- if not better. I got these two, small, fine line pieces on my wrist and neck and absolutely loved how she brought them to life.
