This is highly recommended as you want to protect your major investment, especially the model S and X, as they come from the California plant, which has a different regulated paint specifications! Like many people, I wanted to find a place closest to the dealership, so that there would be no paint chips on the way there. After finding AODetail, and reading all their positive reviews, and even how the owner responded to the only negative review for someone doing a last minute request on New Year's Eve, I decided to call and talk specifics with the owner, Nick. He was AWESOME from the very first conversation through the entire process! His prices were reasonable and his experience was invaluable. I had some ideas as to what I wanted and which products and we discussed pros and cons of each. On a few occasions, we discussed possible options and rather than try to make a quick buck like many do, he recommended honestly against them as they added little to no value at a higher cost. We talked about his customer service and business practices and philosophy and how it closely aligned with mine when I had my own business. He is a very friendly, patient, down to earth, and honest businessman. He is also a perfectionist, which I appreciate as I am one too! I could not be happier with the outcome, the process, the cost, the owner, the staff, the product choices, and ultimate customer service! I was so fortunate that I called Imagine Audio. They worked with me to find a reliable/reasonably priced OEM manufacturer for the camera (I didn't want to buy used or some cheap knockoff). Scheduling with them was very easy, brought car in at 9am and received a text at 11:30am that it was ready. Paid and was on my way. So it's been a while, 8 years to be exact since I spent several thousand dollars at this store…read morehaving my windows tinted and a top of the line subwoofer system put in. After 1.5 years the power amp went out and had to be sent back to the factory. A year later the subwoofer quits. I went back again, they played with some wires and it worked when I left. A month later the sub quit again. Frustrated and very busy I did not return to this store. Drove without my sub until I found a great store in Ewing NJ. They inspected the system and immediately asked me where I had it done and that the power amp should NEVER have been installed under the drivers seat in the mustang. They showed me frayed wires that led to shorting out the sub. The. Wires grayed from the movement of the drivers seat over the years. End of story is $1200 later I have the power amp relocated and the sub replaced. Sadly, this store lost a good customer...so BE WARE work can be shoddy!
