Excellent customer service and courtesy from start to finish. Gary was our sales man and did amazing. Tori was hands on with financing and really hunted for a great deal for us. She stepped in when Gary was off to ensure all our questions were answered. No matter how busy they got, they stuck to their word and did everything they said they would. Now, the GM James, by far the best person to communicate with when finishing the deal. He always made sure all questions were answered and he was out in our boat checking to make sure things were taken care of right away. He was very hands on and only a phone call away no matter how big or small our concern was. Definitely the best boat purchase experience we have ever gone through. They have all car dealerships beat in customer service as well!!!!! No matter how "busy" they may have been, every person we dealt with made us feel like we were the number 1 priority. As we were negotiating the boat purchase from the homeowner, James showed up with cash and took the boat off the property. Then offered it to us at a premium. He kept saying it was a "homerun" deal for him. I hear this is a common thing they do up here on the lake. It should be illegal. James practices garbage business. No ethics, no morals. Inland Boats' bottom cleaning charges are highly inflated. They charge $20 per foot for bottom cleaning with the boat sitting on your own trailer. In Marina Del Rey, one of the most expensive marinas in the world including Italy's Capri island, SCUBA diving cleaners charge $2-4 per foot, which is typical. Inland Boats admitted that the job can take up to 2 hours. My experience is that a 21' ski boat takes about 1 hour at most for bottom cleaning while on a trailer AND with the job done by a non-licensed, minimally trained worker. $20 per foot for bottom cleaning? $420 for a 21 foot boat? Good News!!!!! He heard horror stories about this place. We were forced to trust Inland Boat Center with our boat that broke down the vary day we launched it... So HAPPY to say we were slammed into a wonderful experience. We learned that they have John Rutledge in charge of Inland now. Apparently John has been there for almost 2 months. After they towed our boat in, they replaced the part. We picked the boat up in less then 42 hours, Piloted the boat back to the dock,found we had a different issue just before Mamorial weekend. (Friday) the gals in the office told us with the long weekend here they would not be able to pick the boat up until Tuesday. We were bummed, but understood... We went to the dock Saturday to clean the boat and it was GONE. We called them, we were told that the boat was towed in early that morning and was fixed, and they would have it back to the dock within 2 hours. We asked what the fee would be this time and we were told NO CHARGE! "It was our fault" They even reversed charges dicounted the original charge... We got the boat back with no grease on it :) We could not be more thrilled with John, and the crew at Inland Marine! They have undoubtedly earned our business. We even now purchase supplies there. read more

This place is rude and deceptive. The store manager at Inland is extremely unprofessional. They took illegal ownership of our boat trailer when Harden Marine claimed bancrupcy. Not only did we pay them thousands of dollars to store and winterize and maintain our boat and when it came time to get out boat trailer out of their storage they told us it wasn't our boat trailer. Well we have a title on it but it appears Harden Marine claimed it as their property and filed their own title on it before they went bancrupt. This is bizarre. Needless to say we have filed a stolen property report with the San Bernadino Police dept. but that doesn't give us our boat trailer back. Don't trust this company. read more

This is the worst service to trust you boat with. I paid $1,800 for dry dock and all they did for 6 months is call me with quotes to wax the boat. I get the boat back and the batteries were left on both, probably for the past 6 months, totally dead, they stole the boat cover pole so last rain nearly flooded the boat (bilge pump needs batteries) and the left the bimini cover unraveled and the cover just thrown inside the boat. Why did they put up the Bimini just to store the boat. Lastly, they are dishonest. I paid to have my boat stored in Lake Arrowhead yet they moved it to cheaper storage down the hill. I didn't have a good customer experience at the store. The employees were incredibly friendly, but that's the only good thing I can say really. We were trying to find simple fishing poles for the kids. I called the store and was told they didn't have any. After spending an hour shopping around for a couple poles, we stopped by Inland Boat for bait. Guess what? There sat the children's poles. Wasted an hour of my time because the employees didn't know what they had in their own shop. We still needed a pole, so I bought one. Took it fishing and it immediately broke. Took it back and got a new one. The reel was broken. At that point I was done visiting this store. Friendly employees doesn't make up for shoddy, overpriced products. My wife and I have had the absolute WORST experience with this place. The saying, "I wouldn't send my worst enemy there" isn't applicable because I don't dislike anyone that much. Customer service is awful. Their mechanical skills are awful. The boat they sold me is awful. We bought a wakeboard boat with 25 hours on it from Inland in July 2012. The first time out it had electrical issues. The second time the transmission fried. The fourth time out the coupler between the motor and transmission failed. Then they found a bad valve in the engine and said they fixed it. Their fix left that cylinder 25 pounds low on compression and making a bad noise. Their mechanic said it just needs to be run in for a while, to let the valve seat. Two trips later the motor started to fail again. It's in the shop. Again. We've had this boat for 10 months now. We've used it 7 times. It's had 4 major mechanical failures. Keep in mind this is a boat that SUPPOSEDLY had a full mechanical inspection prior to sale. Now, if that's not bad enough, add this on top... When we bought the boat the swim step pad was peeling up. As part of the sale (in writing) Inland agreed to repair the pad. After months of not being fixed, I took control and called the manufacturer. They no longer make the pad, but directed me to an aftermarket manufacturer who does. I supplied Inland the web site and all necessary info to order it. That was over three weeks ago. It still hasn't been ordered, let alone replaced. It's been 10 months and they can't replace a simple part? Are you kidding me? Never again. I will never buy another single boat or product from them. I was even a repeat customer. I bought my last boat from them. And this is the way I've been treated. If you're thinking of buying from Inland, think again. Worst customer service ever. read more

I also though there prices on service, parts & accessories was and is more than fair. We paid over 150k for new boat purchases from them, 4 years of storage fees only to have the boat in the water EVERY year with 2 dead batteries and won't start (even when it was delivered new!) Currently they have Lost 3 sets of keys. Our first mechanical problem with the boat occurred and they promise dates and updates that they can't deliver on. On top of that they are extremely rude and unprofessional when you call for an information regarding your boat after you haven't heard from them on dates they promised. My family has had a boat on lake arrowhead since 1965 and this is an all time low. There are other storage options and better mechanics on the mountain. Do yourself a favor and don't engage with these people. You will regret it. If you are new to the area please ask around and I think you'll find it hard to get someone's positive review regarding this company and their service. The season is very short and you don't want your boat sitting on land for weeks on end with no answers to what is happening with it. read more

Understaffed and poor customer service is the reason for this poor rating. The crew were greedy and rude, and the female at the counter was mean to my daughter who only came in for help getting her paddle board back to them (they refused to help us). We paid $40 for a two hour paddle board rental, yet they treated us with contempt. I would definitely not recommend this establishment to anyone. Steer clear of this place and use ANYPLACE other than this one. If they had a zero rating, I would have given that instead. read more

This place has been unbelievably amazing. I have been telling all my friends about how great they treated us. In fact they were so great, I had to write my first yelp review ever. I bought my boat from their Perris store. Since this was my first boat, I had absolutely no idea what to look for. The salesman was very helpful. However, since it was a little older boat, he indicated it would not have a warranty. I had to take a shot since my budget would only allow for so much. We test drove it on Lake Arrowhead and noticed a couple things wrong. The owner stepped up, apologized for the inconvenience and told me they would take care of it, despite the boat being more than 15 years old. A couple weeks after this problem was fixed, we noticed something else. I figured, that's what I get for buying an older boat, so you can imagine how shocked I was when, once again, they stepped up and took care of us. Not only did they fix the issue, they also installed a new battery, new spark plugs/lines, and tuned the carburetor and now the boat is running fantastic! Everyone I have dealt with, from the owner to the mechanics to the office personnel have been extremely polite and professional. I can not say enough good things about these guys. Very disappointed in the Lake Arrowhead facility. They agreed to store my boat in the warehouse at the Lake Arrowhead Marina. I did not want my boat taken off the mountain because I read other ratings where the boat was damaged while stored outdoors in Perris. I would have taken my boat to Mile High Marine if IBC told me the boat would be taken to Perris. One day, I walked to the Marina to verify if my boat was in the storage facility and I did not see it. A few months in, an employ from IBC called and asked if I wanted my boat detailed. At that time, she admitted that the boat was taken to Perris for storage. I could have stored my boat in the desert for $50 per month. Instead, IBC got $1,800 for storing it for 5 months!! I only make mistakes once and will never trust them again. I will report back later when I find out the condition of my previously immaculate boat. read more

These guys refuse to itemize the work done and what they charged me for. They kept my boat for months for a simple job. They lost parts of my boat, did not replace them, and they apparently put in a new battery and charged me for it without my permission. The old battery was fairly new and fully charged.
