I took my mom for a test, we got there at 8:30 am and the appointment was at 9 am...there was another patient with an appointment schedule at 9:15. They call the 9:15 appointment before my 9:00 am. When i questioned what was the process in calling people in... i was told ...in the order they come in...which my next statement was...so if i sheduled my appointment at 2 pm and i come at 9 am, i will be seen at that time? Because the 9 15 was seen before me and i have been waiting to be seen since 8:30 in the waiting room...i got inn at 9:45 am. Finally! I am extremely disappointed with the way this medical office has handled my care. I originally…read morescheduled my appointment in early April and have been waiting months to be seen. Recently, I was informed that my appointment was simply canceled due to the doctor's unavailability. I was not given a meaningful alternative or accommodation, and the cancellation was made against my wishes after I had already waited a significant amount of time for care. When I called to reschedule, I was told that the next available appointment would not be until September. In other words, because of a scheduling issue on the provider's side, I am now expected to wait several additional months to receive medical care. What makes this even more concerning is that my health has been deteriorating while I wait for treatment. I sought this appointment because I need medical care, not because it is optional. Being told that I must wait until September despite worsening symptoms is both frustrating and alarming. The only alternative offered was for me to call every day to check whether another patient had canceled an appointment so that I might be able to take that opening. This is not a reasonable solution. I work on specific days and cannot constantly call the office hoping that an appointment becomes available at a time when I am able to leave work and attend on short notice. If an opening becomes available while I am at work, I am effectively out of luck. It is unacceptable to place the burden on patients to repeatedly call the office every day in hopes of obtaining care, especially after waiting since April and while dealing with a declining health condition. Patients deserve timely access to medical treatment and reasonable accommodations when appointments are canceled through no fault of their own. As a result of this experience, I will be filing a formal grievance with my insurance provider. I hope this office improves its scheduling practices, prioritizes patients with ongoing medical needs, and shows greater consideration for those whose health may worsen while waiting months for an appointment.

I gave it one less of a star because afterwards I went to the cafeteria and they were selling blueberry pancakes, and the lady that was cooking the blueberry pancake had been wearing gloves. She ended up grabbing the door handle to get a type of ingredient in the fridge (it might have been onions because there was a guy was asking for onions for the Menudo soup) and she ended up using the same gloves to touch the onions and started chopping it. I don't understand how a lot of businesses allow people to wear gloves the entire time not being more aware that they're touching multiple surfaces and should change it. I think that is an infection control rule where you should be changing your gloves if you touch, at the very least, different handles and equipment then afterwards touching the food! That's really disgusting to see. I hope to see better awareness for the safety of the staff and members. I didnt want to take a picture of the lady but she was working today (9/4 during 0700, there were two ladies. It was the one who was cooking the first batch of pancakes since many of us were waiting for it to be cooked. she was really nice to everyone i saw interacted with her).

The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)
