Dr Saffouri and the other doctors, and nurses, in the surgical center are wonderful. The PAs and office staff are horrendous. If you want to know more, read below. -- I have gone through 2 endoscopies here, was diagnosed, and *supposed* to receive medication/treatment for my condition. After having my phone F/U with Andrea after the 2nd endoscopy we agreed on a treatment. Supposedly, the medication was sent in to the pharmacy. I never received a notification it was submitted, denied by insurance, delayed, etc. Nothing. Then I was auto-scheduled for a 3rd endoscopy. I called and cancelled that appointment explaining I won't be doing endless endoscopies without receiving treatment first, and scheduled a phone F/U for April 23rd to speak to Andrea AGAIN. The day of my phone appointment I receive a voicemail 2 hours before my appointment time stating my appointment was cancelled because it was scheduled with the provider and not someone else(???) I called back immediately and the office tried to tell me it was cancelled because I didn't answer to provide copayment. I said no, that is not what the voicemail stated and told them the reason that was given. They tried to tell me it was an in-person appointment despite still having the text confirming phone appointment. (Screenshot attached.) Whatever bullsh*t excuse they struggled to fabricate next still ended with my talk with Andrea regarding treatment cancelled. I also told them I haven't received treatment. I've been trying to reach Andrea; not one pharmacy has called, emailed, texted, in regards to medication prescribed. Info was looked up, I was told it was submitted multiple times. I never received any of it. Then I was told she would talk to Andrea and call me back. That was a week ago. Dead silence. I'm still waiting. Since my family is doctors who have worked and consulted with Dr. Saffouri before -who I highly recommend- we're letting him know directly how staff treats immediate family of his colleagues.

Time stamps showing when the company called, cancelled my appointment via text and then when I called back within two minutes.

You're told that getting a colonoscopy is of the utmost importance. Yet when you go to schedule one, you're made to wait months. I can't put the lack of resources available and the demand on ACE. They're just a business filling a need. What I can put on them is the complete lack of organization of keeping appointments that they schedule. I scheduled my first appointment for September 15th. Mind you this was about 2 months out. About a week later I get a text saying they need to reschedule because the doctor won't be in that day. They schedule me for the following week on the 22nd at the same time. Ok, whatever. Not a big deal. But then we get to the beginning of September and I start getting automated text messages that I never scheduled my appointment and that I needed to schedule it soon since the referral from Kaiser can expire. So now I'm starting to get irritated because I'm thinking they screwed the scheduling up. I call in, and sure enough, they didn't have me on the schedule for the 22nd. Now I'm starting to get mad because it isn't just my schedule they're messing with. When you get a colonoscopy, they're pretty adamant about you having someone drive you there and drive you home. So my wife had to request time off from work. And the closer it is to the date, the harder it is to reschedule. She already had to change the date from the 15th to the 22nd, which wasn't a huge issue given that the first rescheduling was still a month and a half away. But now we're inside of 3 weeks. So the woman on the phone was doing her best to be pleasant, but she could tell I was upset. She first offers me an appointment well into late October, and now I'm fuming. What started this whole appointment was because of abdominal pain and it would seem pretty urgent to get this checked and ruled out, but they keep pushing me out. So she does what she can and puts me for the 29th, a week later. Fine, not happy about it, but it's better than October. Fast forward to this week and I get a text asking me to confirm my appointment 3 days prior to the procedure. It's still a week away, so I wait. Then today I get a phone call. I say hello twice and there is just silence, so I hang up. Within seconds, I get a text message stating that my appointment has been cancelled due to not confirming. I immediately call, and am told that my appointment was cancelled because I didnt confirm within three says of receiving the text. I informed her that the text doesnt say to confirm within 3 days of receiving the text. It says to confirm three days before the procedure and we're still four days away. I ask her to put me back on for the appointment and she says it's no longer available. So the phone call where there was no voice on the other end, the text informing me my appointment was cancelled within seconds and then my spot being filled inside of two minutes leads me to believe they screwed up the scheduling again and they were trying to fabricate and excuse to move my appointment. I was offered a time later that day, but again, it isn't just my schedule we're talking about. My wife already told her job she would be coming in mid day after dropping me off at home and now I have to tell her to reschedule AGAIN after she's already had to move the time off twice because this administrative staff at ACE can't get their act together. How in the hell am I supposed to trust you to perform a medical procedure when your office can't even master basic scheduling. Absolutely inept. The problem is, they're so busy and just have business falling in their lap that there's no incentive for them to be better. If I were the doctor running this place, I'd be taking a closer look at the office staff. This place has also caused me to consider opening a clinic. If this place is doing as well as it is while being run as poorly as it is, how hard could it be?

Top notch!!! This facility was amazing!!! Not only the front staff and their communication!! But all the back staff was 5 stars all the way!!!! The prep was so hard for me. But once I checked in, everything else was a piece of cake!! I was under the care of such great staff!! Kriski, Marcela, Ana, Ruben, Christina, Esmeralda & Melissa were AMAZING!!! The level of care & their great camaraderie made me feel very comfortable. Before I knew it I was done & on my way!! Very happy I was referred to this facility!!! 5 stars all around!!

The good: Though the waiting room was packed when I was there, but the staff was friendly. Pre-procedure nurses also good. Anesthetist chatted me up beforehand. I had a chance to talk to the physician doing the procedure. The bad:  1) My procedure failed (no fault of physician). But I never saw or heard "Why" from the physician doing the scoping - probably due to assembly-line rapidity. Before leaving, I asked the staff how I could get in touch with the physician. And I called. But I never did hear back other than to refer me to their PA, so I had to go to a separate clinic for an explanation.  2) Though we paid $300 up front, afterward, we got an anesthesiology bill for several hundred dollars AND another surgery center bill for $400.  3) Insult to injury: The billing mechanism is junk. You get a bill and an address to snail mail a check. This is unlike most 21st century centers in the USA where you can go to a link and pay there.  4) The bill itself has no phone number, so I went back online to find the center's phone number. 5) Paying bills is so tedious you'd think they want you to blow it off. Conclusion: I wouldn't go there again. It's more trouble than it's worth, and the efficiency and mechanisms for being billed and paying bills is 25 years old.

Tip: arrive one hour before your appointment time to fill out the 6 pages of forms. The sooner you turn in your forms, the sooner you get in for your appointment.

Waiting room has a tv, about 7 chairs, and a restroom (where everyone can hear all the noise you make).

Dr Salimi did my surgery. She was so amazing right from the start. Her energy and attitude made me feel so comfortable and confident everything was going to go well. She delivered my baby girl safe and sound and I had no complications. The whole surgery she made me comfortable. She was also teaching a student that day. I was so impressed by her teaching ability's. She was explaining everything to them really well. She did my entire surgery and then when it came to closing my skin she was teaching how to close up the skin and guiding a student to do so. I felt so confident that my scar will be none existent. She was giving great instructions and really helping boost the students confidence. I didn't even realize till later that Dr salimi is a resident. Thats how good she was. I would 100% recommended her to anyone. They also had music playing in the background and it was my type of music. Made the experience even better. The whole team of nurses and Drs was amazing! The best experience I could have asked for. So much better than my first c section.

Yesterday, I went to the unit to visit (as I was previously invited to do) and to see if I could get a medical-grade suction bulb. My baby has severe GERD and a high risk of aspiration--she chokes until her eyes are red and milk shoots from her nose. Having the right equipment for her safety is not something to play with. The treatment I received from Nurses HELEN and JESSICA was unprofessional and retaliatory. I have previously reported these nurses for their conduct during my baby's stay. When I arrived, Helen brushed me off and intentionally sent Jessica to the door to confront me. Jessica looked me in the face and said, 'I know who you are.' She then stood there acting as if the supplies were her personal property, condescendingly stating she would give me one 'this time only' and 'reminded' me that they don't provide these once a baby has left. It is deeply disappointing that staff would use a medical necessity to power-trip and settle a personal grudge. To treat a mother this way when she is simply trying to ensure her high-risk baby can breathe safely is unacceptable. ARMC management needs to address the behavior of Helen and Jessica immediately. I will not be returning to this unit to visit again. Their lucky My baby has to come to the clinic or i wouldn't step foot in this Hospital. Unless it was to see my OB. When I stood up the world started spinning like a merry go around at top speed. I decided these were not good signs as I don't drink or smoke ( sorry, no awesome hangover here). My wife took me to urgent care. Where I was seen in a timely manner. After a review of my vitals; they told me I had won a 3 night 4 day stay at the Fontana Kaiser Hospital. Now I must warn you this isn't your normal Hospital. The staff is friendly and engaging. Let me be clear about what I mean when I say engaging. I don't mean like the barista that really just wants you to get your drink and go. I mean they actually listen and given honest relevant feedback to the topic of conversation. I had a very enlightening conversation with a sanitation lady name, Abigail. I even had two really good conversations with different directors. Both of the nurse leads are awesome. Don't even get me started on the nurses; that actually worked with me. Their attentiveness, their efforts to make sure that I had all of my needs met. They even answered my most ridiculous question(I'm notorious for the corny joke). The staff informed me of the most viable paths to take. For my recovery and even dropped some jewels. One such jewel being the 1900 challenge. I appreciate the staff for not just helping to rejuvenate my body but to also for giving my mind a little restoration as well.
