With a history of colon cancer in my family, this was my fourth colonoscopy--and honestly, it was the most comfortable experience I've had. Dr. Moe and his staff were great. The Glenwood Surgery Center in Riverside was super clean, and everyone there was really friendly and made the whole thing easy. They told me I might be there a few hours, but everything moved pretty quickly and I was out sooner than expected. The whole process just felt smooth from start to finish. With coronavirus office visits are possible. I found this doctor on my in network list. The doctor's office called me to collect the co payment before my phone appointment with the doctor. I had my procedure and a few days later I received a letter from the insurance stating that the doctor's surgical office was out of network. I was being charged more than double the amount allowed. I waited about a month for my biopsy results. Only to get a call from the doctor's office 40 minutes after my scheduled phone appointment to collect my co pay. I have never had to pay a co pay for a post op. Now 30 minutes later and i am still waiting to hear from the doctor. read more

needed to see a gi specialist. We had been to multiple ers and none were willing to help us, only telling us to see someone else and they refused to run more tests. So we found this wonderful specialist. The Dr answered my phone call early one morning and stated that he was very sorry that my family was in need and that the treatment of the other drs are extremely unprofessional and not how they were supposed to behave. He then stated that he was going to do everything in his capacity to assist us. He did just that. The entire staff was just absolutely wonderful, accommodating, kind and so helpful. The entire experience was scary but with a team like this, it was lessened. Other medical facilities need to take note on how this team works. Dr. Shakfeh is one of the best doctors in the area. He's very knowledgeable, funny, nice and kind. My husband did his colonoscopy 3 years ago and I just had mine, both no problems. Thank God! My mother has seen over 6 different GI doctors none of which could figure out what was wrong with her. Instead they loaded her up with different medications which did nothing but make matters worse. The experience has been heart wrenching and extremely difficult for us to deal with. We were referred to Dr Mohammed Shakfeh by a family friend who spoke so highly of him. Our first visit with Doc Shakfeh was by far the best consultation we had! Doctor Shakfeh was so very welcoming, attentive, caring, knowledgeable and very supportive. He immediately preformed two procedures on my mother the following day. He booked her in and made sure she was seen immediately. My mother is now under his care and I can finally breath again knowing that she's under the care of an extremely wonderful doctor who knows what he's doing. I highly recommend him to anyone! Multiple discrepancies at this office! My father had a colonoscopy done and was told to wait for a call to schedule appointment to get results (mass was found and biopsied). A month later and we assumed no news was good news but my fathers health worsened. I contacted office and was told no results for mass but Dr would call back. Dr contacted me after a couple hours to let me know my dads symptoms were caused by his cancer. Did not give me much information just to wait on surgery auth. I called next day to get my dads medical record to be transferred to AMAL who is literally the worst manager I have ever encountered. She began to say that his health was our fault and that she didn't care what I had to say. As a manager you are supposed to care what your clientele think of your office. She informed me that they had contacted my mother on a specific date and informed her of cancer prognosis but call records (from phone company) confirmed that no one had informed us at all. This office is soo poorly run by management that I recommend anyone seeking professional care look elsewhere. read more

Based on my first visit today, Dr. Shakfeh was attentive, friendly and informative. We scheduled my procedure, and I was pleasantly surprised that it will be next week; not another month down the road. I was a bit worried based on the bad reviews listed, but so far, every bad review seems to be coming from only disgruntled and highly uneducated individuals. Dr Shakfeh is very good doctor. I love his smile. My mom has been struggling for chronic constipation for decades. Recent she did colonoscopy with the doctor and follow up with doctor recommended recipe, which is alternating red beets and yogurt daily. Amazing thing happens. My mom BM gets improved a lot. Seriously this office sucks. They recommended I have a procedure, so I agreed and was given a 2 week wait period. @ weeks comes and they miss-scheduled my appointment time. So now I have to wait another 2 weeks. It is impossible to reach the office. Ive tried calling 3 #'s for the past 30minutes.
