I have been a patient of Dr. Kimball's since December 2024 for a knee injury that he did 2 surgeries and multiple injections on. The front desk is friendly and helpful, the back office was incredibly helpful dealing with my insurance denials and scheduling. Dr. Kimball himself is one of my favorite doctors I've ever been treated by. He is very calm and friendly which was always helpful for my anxiety. He is empathetic and was very sweet during the few times I couldn't help but cry to him. He is incredibly knowledgeable and confident and answers questions patiently. His work on my knee was everything I could have dreamt it to be and he managed to fix my injury and make it feel as though it almost never happened! I am 27 years old and was very worried I would be held back for the rest of my life by a bad knee but Dr. Kimball has made me hopeful that once I am fully recovered I will be able to do anything I could do before. The only reason I don't give a 5 star review is because you'll probably never get into your appointment at your scheduled time. It regularly takes 20-30 minutes past my appointment to be seated in a room and a few times it has been almost an hour. BUT I don't mind too much because I am always given as much time as I need during my visit and my visits have never felt rushed. That allows for the quality of care that I appreciate so much and I would hope that every patient gets the time and attention they need.

You can be on on hold for 1-3 hours and no one ever picks up. Going to have to go to the emergency room because the front office here is non existent. I wish someone here would face consequences for all the issues that they have created, and patients that were turned away like us or any pain that may have been caused. They are oblivious to what a good job or service is.

The facility was clean and organized. The staff were very knowledgeable and excelled in their performance. The individual who handles the scheduling and calls is also equally kind and professional. Their bedside manner was fantastic. Typically, if you have to go through physical therapy at this location for a few weeks at a time, you'll encounterdifferent physical therapists from their team. They all coordinate and take turns helping different patients. No matter who is helping you through your physical therapy you will be in exquisite hands. By the end of your treatment, you'll be happy to be rehabilitated, but sad to leave behind this wonderful team. A word of caution : sometimes there's high patient traffic and you might end up doing exercises in your own little corner, but in a large room shared by others. It's not a problem for me personally but it's something you should expect.

This was my first experience with PT but I know that you should be watched and shown how to do the exercises not just left in a room with a timer then they come in give you some more this went on and on. I would be told to do for ex. A certain stretch/ hold for 30 seconds and do 5 reps then off he would go. Wouldn't watch and then I would be done and waiting for 5 minutes to 10 minutes after done for him to come back with more exercises what should have taken 20 minutes of exercises took and hour because he was so busy bopping around to other patients. Also I had to re tell to each asst what my injury was and sometimes I would have two helping me in one session. I feel like they should know your injury and read your file before they start to work on you as one came in wanted to have me do a sitting exercise I explained to him I have difficulties sitting and he said " oh what's your injury" after I told him he said"oh no we should not have you sit". Lastly as I was checking out with the receptionist another asst over heard me talking and said "oh your going to need surgery for that PT won't fix that!" Great so the several Drs I have seen and specialist who are hopeful in time I will heal with exercise and PT have all got it wrong and this PT asst who doesn't even know my injury says I need surgery! Needless to say got a referral for a new PT and am hoping for far better results and optimism. Overall I felt like after three sessions here they were just checking the boxes to get paid. At the very least they need to stay with you for a few reps to ensure your form is good and read your patients file!

With a big summer ahead, we were worried he would miss out on playing. Thanks to the incredible therapists here, he is now feeling amazing and is completely pain-free. Their expertise, care, and dedication made all the difference in his recovery. Unfortunately, my insurance did not cover the treatment, but it was worth every penny. We were hesitant about him returning to baseball, but now he is back on the field and doing great. We will definitely return whenever we're in town to help keep up with his recovery and overall health. Thank you for everything you've done for our family

I was genuinely disappointed by my experience at Kinematics Physical Therapy, especially because…read moretheir online presence gives the impression of a polished, professional, and patient-focused practice. The experience started before we even arrived. I called ahead to confirm that they accepted our insurance, and it took about three days to get a response. When we visited as potential new patients, the front desk receptionist came across as unwelcoming, and I also received an uncomfortable side-eye from someone sitting in one of the offices. The overall atmosphere did not feel particularly warm or inviting. We asked for a tour of the facility so we could get a better sense of the practice before committing to treatment. The request seemed to feel like we were asking for too much. We were shown the room in general and the water dispenser, but it hardly felt like a thoughtful introduction to the facility or the patient experience. I also asked if we could briefly meet the doctor. He was there at the time, but we were told he was not available. I understand that providers have busy schedules and certainly do not expect someone to drop everything for us. However, when a prospective patient is considering a course of treatment that could amount to around $10,000 between insurance and out-of-pocket expenses, I would expect the initial experience to be considerably more welcoming, attentive, and professional. First impressions matter, particularly when you are deciding who to trust with your health and making a significant financial commitment. Unfortunately, the in-person experience did not live up to the strong impression Kinematics creates online, and we left without feeling confident about moving forward. Experiences like this really make me miss my previous physical therapy practice, FORMA in Newport Beach, where I felt genuinely welcomed and valued as a patient. The difference in the overall patient experience was noticeable.
