Dr Khatibi and his team are very compassionate and friendly he is extremely knowledgeable they are understanding and focus on your health and what would work best for you. I have been going to Dr Khatibi for years and he is accommodating and so friendly and professional. He actually listens to you and helps you together to come up with a plan that will benefit your health and quality of life. I would recommend making an appt and seeing him he has many locations to choose from and open hours that are accommodating to your schedule walk in appts are always welcome but you can make appts and even if you walk in your not sitting there for hours it's a pleasant stress free office and very professional and caring. This used to be a wonderful place... Dr. Khatibi was very hands on and very personable. I considered him a friend. However like so many other people who been going here for years it's nothing like it was. I stopped going for a couple of months because I couldn't stand the lack of respect from the young kids/aids that had taken over for Dr. Khatibi. I really needed my pain medication so I went back and I asked to see Dr. Khatibi I told him that I been harassed by the young aids and I wanted to know if he would prescribe me my regular medications he said of course I'll take care of it right away... he actually lied to my face he never called in my prescriptions as he promised me he would... I hadn't filled my prescriptions in over 2 months why lie to me? tell me if your not going to fill my prescriptions anymore don't let me leave and ignore the fact you promised to refill my pain medications. After many many years of trusting him I truly believe his clinic has lost its way. I'm so disappointed in him as a professional and a caring person. The worst part of going here is your no longer a patient. Your a criminal, a drug addict and they forget you have rights to not be searched without cause. They started insisting on urine/Drug testing every visit. I have rights you know to not have you search my body for illegal drugs just because I'm a patient. Unless you want to lose your right to say no to having your body searched like your on parole. Once again I can't give 0 stars. It's so unfortunate that so limited options are available for pain management. I received a bill for over $3000 stating I receive a surgical procedure from this place. After further investigation they charged my insurance for a Botox procedure which I NEVER received, let alone asked for. Then my insurance company confirmed that my co pay was $10 les than what the office was actually charging me, but because they forced me to pay cash, I could not dispute my payments. I would give -100 stars if I could. So interesting that my other review isn't here but there's been a recent development, so let me write again. I came to this doctor after being on Percocet 7.5 that stopped working after they put me on Oxy when I had surgery and the pain management I was with didn't care. They said they couldn't immediately change my medication which I knew and was fine with because when you have lived in misery for as many years as I have, what's three more months? This MF allowed his STUDENT PA to take me from Percocet 7.5 that was not working and at that point, only keeping me from going into full-blown opiate withdrawal , to 3 8mg of suboxone a day. At first it helped better than what I had been on but I still couldn't work and was experiencing insane symptoms and my pain was still really high for being on that much medication. DO NOT let them put you on suboxone. When they do that they are telling you you are a drug addict and not a pain patient. After 3 years on it the last 2 and especially this last one, have been an absolute Fing nightmare.y pain increase to my whole body, and when I tell you it was destroying my digestive system, it's not an exaggeration. I have had a burning gulbladder, severe stomach pain, projectile vomiting, explosive diarrhea and that's from what VERY little food I have been able to eat. I am skinnier than I have ever been in my life. Had pointless imaging done for my stomach multiple times, an endoscopy and a colonoscopy all FOR NO REASON that was ever necessary. Once they put you on suboxone, GOOD LUCK being treated like you matter or getting someone to take you off of it. I have stayed with my current PM for two years telling them y symptom's getting no where but terrified to switch dr's because then they think you're Dr shopping and just again, great you like a drug addict. Fortunately and angle PA and my current pain management started seeing me and I was finally able to get them to take me off. My stomach was immediately better within days. They gave me two pain meds a day of oxy. Which I am now only using half when I absolutely have to and on it I still am detoxing. How tf am I using a full Opia antagonist to detox off of a partial???? do you know who I had to call to figure out why when I come off of Suboxone I feel worse the longer I'm off of it then somebody should when there are coming off of a drug? Rehab. A nurse at a rehab didn't even have to hear my symptoms. All she had to hear was that they took me for Percocet 7.5 to the amount of the box and they did and she said whoa! That's for like heroin addicts why would they put you on that??? She then proceeded to tell me all of my symptoms that I've been experiencing and what I was experiencing coming off of it. She said I'm lucky I didn't die as I have tried to detox of subs 3 times by myself. She also said if they though I was misusing my pills they should have put me on subutex and the lowest dose which has NONE of the side affects as suboxone. Wtaf are you people doing???? My story is longer and I could never fully explain hell I have lived through, especially after being put on subs. I am so done with western medicine and their keep you sick, make you sick jacked up system. This office is getti Af too. The front desk is his family and they care ZERO about you. This place is fully in it for money and lacks any compassion. I don't know if they are just pure evil or dumb af. Dr. how does a nurse at a rehab know more than you who graduated from Loma Linda? "Doctor" that title no longer impresses me. I have more respect for the homeless hustling their ass off for recycling than I do these absolute losers who call themselves doctors. After I got the appointment, I tried confirming the type of appointment and the insurance. She misunderstood me and when I tried several times to clarify, she yelled at me, "shut up!" This Dr. Is amazing. He is so caring and listens to my Pain concerns. The physician's assistants that work there are really good too. Last time I was there they took at least 35 minutes with me listening to everything that I was complaining about. they are they are willing to give you pain medications and switch medications if that doesn't work. With somebody with chronic pain this is the only doctor you should be going to. He is awesome and he cares about me not being in pain and my quality of life. I'm never going to another doctor again. the front staff can be a little testy but They have so many people coming in there they just want to know the bottom line. They're just there to make appointment and schedule your next appointment, they don't want to know anything else. You will fill this same form out every single time you go in. It's crazy. They do pain injections I think but from the look of the office I wouldn't trust them to touch me with a needle. The front desk staff a lady named Faye which I was told is Khatibis mother is a total a hole or B*+#%. She will yell and threaten you several times people are always yelling at her I had a few altercations with her. Cops have been called at this place several times it's ridiculous. Dr Khatibi needs to handle her or he is going to loose clients. I advise clients who care about there health to leave this dr and find another he's not worth it. My medical records stated I was on morphine and I haven't been on that for over 3 months and that tells you what you say never updates the chart. They most of the time don't even have the medical record there they go off that paper. If you need your medical record they will never give it to you. Needed for social security and other doctors and they never sent the medical record they just made excuses and excuses ridiculous. I finally had to legally threaten them on email because you have to email and txt to reach there office. If they answer the phone they will tell you to txt them then hang up. Never heard of not being able to call your doctors office that's insane. I would receive txts at 11 at night from them. I finally reported them to the state medical board for violating HIPPA policy by refusing to hand me medical records and all the sudden after I did that I received my records which was only my last appt and then everyone else received records. Still not the full record it was in total 3 pages long. My old pain management doctor one appt was 25 pages long. The full record over 1,000 pages. How the hell is a dr only going to have a 3 page daily record. That's a dr who doesn't care doesn't listen and just pumps drugs. I am so happy leaving and never having to return. I have seen many Pain Specialist due to my chronic pain condition, and I have had a bad experience with them being judgemental, rude, and unprofessional. I was hesitant to see Dr. Khatibi for fear of yet another bad experience, yet he changed my opinion. Dr. Khatibi made me feel very comfortable to share issues with him. This place is crooked, and whoever answers the phones is as rude as can be. They call you a liar and don't hesitate to hang up on you. After 2 visits, they claimed my Insurance wasn't paying them, so I had to be a cash patient. The next month, I got a statement in the mail from my insurance showing they had paid this practice. My next visit ; I told them, "hey my insurance is paying you. " they responded with "no they aren't. Pay 125 cash or leave". I get another statement from insurance showing they paid again. So my next visit I showed them the statements and they said "ok, just 20 dollar co pay today then." And refused to refund me the 250.00 from the previous visits. They have now cancelled me as a patient because I got emergency surgery and got pain medication from the surgeon which will cause an "inconsistency" on the drug panel, and supposedly the DEA doesn't care about reasoning, just the screen. The lady working the front desk (Kay) who identifies herself as the owner/manager tried to extort money from me to "allow" me to see the doctor. She demanded $200 cash. They told me my social security number was wrong and I had to recite this number out loud for her to "verify" it.
