I just wanted to come on here and let it be known that Dr. Kenneth Terry is the best physician l have ever seen. He is kind and compassionate. He listens and makes me feel safe with him. I have never ever had that kind of experience with any medical providers in the past. I wanted to also say that Geri is CMA helped me getting my medications. l was having a difficult time with my pharmacy. She helped me by communicating with the pharmacy and she got my medication for me in a speedily timely manner. She told me it was ok not to worry that she would help me and she did. I can't wait to see them both again on our new journey with them being my health care providers. The front office staff were also very nice and kind to me as well. He took the time to explain my situation in ways I can understand. Very personable and I didn't feel rushed. If I could give a zero star I would. My mom has went there for years and there is always an issue. It takes at least 5 calls to get anything handled. Don't bother leaving a message because they will not call back. One nurse told my mom to put several lidocaine patches to cover her entire back . It clearly states to only use 2 at a time. Without any doubt at all one of the best primary care doctors I've had since I moved up in the high desert in 2018 her office is incredibly accurate and do their jobs and make sure I have medical Care medical equipment and medicine. Dr Sharma listens to you she talks with you she goes over things with you you're not rushed out I highly recommend if you're looking for primary Care and cardiology you can do it all right here she gets an a+ read more

Adds stress to already stressful situations by not responding to request, even after earlier request are given instructions for resolutions, she then changes her resolutions after the facts. I have been coming here since 2012. And I think it's one of the better ones up here. Going by what some of my friends say about where they go. (Kaiser) and another one said they don't even see a doctor it's a nurse... I feel pretty lucky being able to see Dr Sharma or any one of the other doctors in her office. I have never had a bad experience here. And I have never waited longer than 15 minutes if that long to get taken to the back. I usually get right in right after I sign in. I feel like Dr Sharma has saved my life, she sent me to Dr Devineni when I was feeling something with my heart. And it turned out she was right to. She's a Great Doctor! Dr Devineni is a Cardiologist and an another great doctor. Between Dr Sharma and Dr Devineni I feel very fortunate to have both of these doctors taking care of me. Sometimes the phone lines are busy... but maybe the person calling in ahead of me is having a real emergency... either way these doctors are worth waiting for! Best Quality Care! read more

The PA Michael Jasso has decided to make me stop my neuropathic pain meds (Lyrica) cold turkey because he disagrees with meds I've been taking for over 5 years for an inoperable spinal cord tumor, and he didn't want to fill my script on a Friday. Now I'm probably driving 3 hours to Mexico to get enough to last me til I can find a new doctor. Meanwhile it's withdrawal and burning nerve pain. read more

Well I'm going to be brutally honest. Doctors in the high desert have a reputation for giving out poor care which forces you to drive 40+minutes down the hill for any type of decent care and this office is no different. This office has its share of issues. 1. Getting an appointment with Dr Sharma is almost next to impossible because you're forced to see a PA (physicians assistant) first. 2. Referrals are an absolute joke....the "referrals" are basically denials this office is associated with Alliance Desert Physicians whom will deny your medical equipment requests, surgeries etc. if you call wanting information regarding any denials they automatically refer you back to your insurance company for anything appeals, complaints, grievances and anything else although they are ones that have their name in the letter. 3. Some of the staff is ok, but they majority of them give you the attitude when you call them as if you're bothering them and they don't want to answer any questions. Sadly the two and half stars are being generous from my recent experience the reviews are justified and if this office reads it's reviews then take to heart what's being said and make adjustments to correct the issues it might get better reviews. Sometimes people write these reviews because of some bad experiences and some wrote them because they are just angry in this case it's not an issue of anger it's frustration and the lack of empathy and accountability from this office. UPDATE: on Tuesday I contacted this office in request of getting an off-work note I was told to fax a request to them, well I don't use a fax nor have access to one then I was told to email my request to them which I did. Fast-forward to yesterday I was told that it was in the doctors inbox and she hadn't looked at it because she was with patients. Now this was my return to work day, well I called today and was told by another receptionist that I would have to wait for the doctor because as it turns out she wasn't even in the office yesterday....WOW!! Totally lied to, then I was transferred to the office manager whom I will not name in this review, I will say this she was absolutely uncaring and rude. She barked at not to raise my voice to her which I didn't I was explaining to her that I understand that this doctor has numerous patients, but my employer needs this documentation then the office manager said that my employer can call them and they can say over the phone what was going on but they couldn't give them a whole lot because of HIPPA. What was the point in that that's why you give them an off-work/return to work note. I'm actually glad that I am dropping this doctor and medical group effective 7-1-22. It will be a longer drive and I will have to start all over again, but I can't continue with this doctor and medical group. For those that have her and have gotten good treatment consider yourself lucky for me it was an absolute nightmare. read more

Because I have had several bad experiences with their offices specially the location on Jasmine St in Victorville. Staff is clueless and Dr Sharma whom I've seen at the most 2 times in 2-3 years isn't a caring physician. My worst experience was the last one. Dr Sharma left me in the mail examining room without even letting me know she was done. I still wasn't done talking to her . No ethic I had been seeing a PA regarding my back and leg pain and I must say this PA did hear me and helped me but my back pain hasn't resolved as he thought so he asked me to see Dr Sharma which I did almost a month later only she she said to me that she can no longer justify my disability to EDD and that I needed to go back to work the following week. I don't understand exactly what she meant but I'm still in pain. I explained to her my problem walking up and down steps and walking for long periods of time which at my work is what I do all day long 5 days a week. Doctor Sharma told me to let my employer know that and that it was their problem accommodate me and to start looking for another job. Walked out and never came back. She didn't let the front office know about me. Very disappointed. On top of that I've been waiting for shots to block the nerve in my back ever since but the authorization is still in the limbo . It took a week for them to fax over papers to pain management and I had to make personal visits to the office because I could not get them on the phone, 4 days in a row and still haven't got it right! I went to Dr sharma's office in apple valley I love the staff but in the 4 years o had her I never once saw her though she look at my labs and test, I had to choose another Dr office because felt all they offer is pills for every little thing which I don't need. Went to see Dr. Sharma today for my physical, Wow what a great experience from the front desk reception staff to the medical assistance. Dr. Sharma took her time asking me my health history, answering all my questions, and making sure I was satisfied and understood everything she explained. Great practice and Amazing Doctor. Dr Sharma is our Primary family Dr, she herself is a great Dr and we all Love her, her staff at the Jasmine office, on the other hand, are rude, they talk about you outside the exam room door, make you pay for enitre office visits when you have a co-pay, and overall treat you like crap. After charging my husband for a entire office visit and treating him like a Transient I called our insurance provider, they stated her staff was in violation of the contract and they needed to refund our money asap. Which they did after I stepped in. My daughter has a return visit and I will be going along with her to observe her treatment. read more

Started out as a good doctor, but then we soon found that she wants you to come in for anything and everything to squeeze copays out of you. She also refuses to refer you to anyone unless you come in, again, for the same problem. Her Nurse Practitioners, Nelly and Mitra, are very rude and arrogant. The MA staff are easier to deal with than the doctors. If you have an HMO, do not go here. read more

Saw this doctor for 4 years, all went well until I got sick and had an emergency at St. Mary's Hospital. Seemed the large cyst on my liver was draining, had CT scan there and Er doctor said to see my doctor within 3 days no matter what her schedule was. COULD NOT GET IN TO SEE HER. Her PA gave me Rx for 90 days of Norco pain killers and ordered an ultra sound per ER doc. I had to call them back several times to get it changed to STAT or wait three weeks for a lab appointment. Her staff are the most incompetent people I've ever talked to. Five weeks later I was back in St. Mary's having my liver drained. I NEVER got in to see Dr. Sharma or got a call from her. Takes 4 weeks to get a referral. I NOW HAVE A NEW DOCTOR! read more

Pretty much the same experiences I have had with Dr. Sharma and her staff that the other reviewers here have had. I had a HMO (Kaiser) for the longest time and I always heard how a PPO is better, so this year we switched. Boy was that a mistake. Both my visits were horrible. My first visit to the office on Palmdale rd was incredulous. The nurse practitioner was so rude I almost just walked out. My second visit to the office on Jasmine st was also horrible. I came in with a couple medical issues I needed help with. Once I was seen, (after waiting almost 45 minutes), I was told after 15 minutes with the Nurse that I had exceeded my time, and I would need to make another appointment to come back and see her again. I have never heard of that. I was dumbfounded. Now I am dealing with them trying to get my regular prescriptions refilled, and they are denying me and want me to come back in. Yeah right!!! I'm gone! P.S I never post to anything but for this I had too. They are playing with peoples lives here. read more

NEVER SAW HER ONCE! All physicians' assistance. Was out of insulin since her office can't write a correct prescription, then called her answering service on Sunday because I tried every available avenue to obtain insulin to no avail. Her answering service paged her, so she called to yell at me for bothering her, offering no help when I needed her. I've been having great trouble with her staff concerning my prescriptions and have had enough. This doctor has no business being a physician, and this office is inept in every respect. I'd be much better off with a veterinarian My new doctor informed me that I was being prescribed insulin in the wrong fashion. They were having me use tons of quick acting Humalog when I should have had just one more Lantus injection at night. My blood pressure was out of control because they didn't prescribe me the right amount of Lisinopril. Basically they were killing me. Since I left this doctor all my numbers are reaching normalcy. read more

I've been a patient for several years and it is becoming more and more difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Sharma. I just called for an appointment today and was told the soonest I could get in to see her was in July! However, I was able to get an appointment with her PA as early as tomorrow. What's the point of having a PCP if you can't get in to see them?!? So fed up that I am seriously thinking of looking for a new primary care doctor. It wouldn't be so bad if the staff was awesome but visiting the office is even more frustrating than waiting for an appointment. I would definitely not recommend this office. read more

If you have hours to sit in a waiting room and then in the room waiting for the doctor. This is the office for you. I have had this doctor for six years. It is hard to see the doctor it is usually the nurse practitioner. They forgot to put in orders for X-rays etc and you have to go back in and pay the standard fees again. Great service. Not sure what is wrong with all of the other reviews on here. Staff is friendly and haven't had any issues with them. Every time I walk in they are very friendly. Some of the posts on here make it sound like the physician assistants cannot prescribe medicine but this is incorrect. They do prescribe medicine. Anyway, good experience, no problems. read more

I have been a patient for about 6 months. I have never received a call when they say they will. I have to call them. I have an issue with my foot being numb and it doesn't seem to concern them even though I'm diabetic. There's no sense of urgency for anything you talk to them about. I have had a rash since the first visit and still have it. I urge you to go anywhere else. Maybe find someone who cares about your concerns not their wallet/pocketbook. read more

Hard to say anything nice. Can't make appointments, never actually see the doctor, will not prescribe refills for a reasonable period of time, will not authorize refills over phone so you often go without your prescription for weeks or months... Just stay away. (And Aetna rating this doctor as 3 1/2 stars based on these reviews is a joke.) read more
