My father is a patient for about 10 years when it was ran by Dr Gene Hong. Now appointments are constantly being changed always what's best time for the doctor not patient. The front desk or schedules are rude. I am now looking into other pulmonogist because the care and office has went down hill. I have a referral from my doctor to come here for a sleep study and they never fucking answer and when I finally get a hold of someone they direct me to another line and I get disconnected. Dr.HE has very bad side manners. He seems uninterested. He was staring at the window, his eyes zoning out as if his mind was else where. With the "I'm just here for the paycheck" type of vibe. He did not even ask any questions regarding my medical history. Did not check me. Did not even review my medical records. It didn't feel rushed. It just feels like he didn't care. Honestly I put up and had so much patience with this office. So many issues happened but 1 important event was, I needed a clearance for a Surgery, and I called about 10 times and went to office for same reason 3-4 times Took them the clearance paper and nothing ! they wouldn't do it and they would loose the paper. My surgery kept being pushed back, my health matters to me, I know it doesn't matter to them but at least their job should matter. 2. Doctor would send me medication to Pharmacy, I would need a PA, I would called, I email and NOTHING!! All they would say was " We will let our RN who is in charge know " and nothing was done. I needed a refill and I would have to called multiple times and sometimes they wouldn't answer me, they would answer and transfer me without say hello, but always transferred me to a dead line that NEVER PICKS UP OR RETURN YOUR CALL! I was nothing but nice to them even tho how they would treat me. I feel disrespected and no honor. I will report this Medical group. Doctors are great but office staff its sad. Only one that was willing to help me was Hannah Atiff. I didn't want to move because I liked the doctors all of them were nice. My favorite was Dr Salem but it's hard to work with this Medical group if they are disconnected from the doctors. If I was the owner I would clean up the house. The quality of care is lacking to the extreme. One is that they never answer their phone. You can call in the morning in the afternoon and right before they close and no one answers and you're not given the option to leave a voicemail. So they don't know that you've been trying to contact them. Two i've been in extreme need for testing for four months to see why I pass out for no reason. They got the approval from my insurance company to test me months ago, but the medical staff can't get the information right or send the correct information to the appropriate testing centers. And when I call the testing centers, Cedar Sinai and Loma Linda they have no idea what I'm talking about. And then when I can get in touch with the medical staff, they said oh we made a mistake we're gonna fix it. My question is this how many months does it take for the medical staff to clean up their mistakes and when am I going to get medical care? I'm going to ask for all of my copayments to be credited back to me and for my insurance company to find a competent doctors office to test me for passing out. read more

Then proceeded to wait until 9:50am when the receptionist called me up saying that the PA that was going to see me was in an emergency at the hospital. I get it things happen, but my appointment was 35 minutes ago. I then proceeded to make an over the phone appointment for 3:45pm later that afternoon. 4:00pm came around with no phone call. Hands down the best medical group I have ever been taken care of by. The staff up front is consistent and helpful with booking appointments. Katie is wonderful in helping with recommendations and checking in to see how things are going. She is reliable in sending information via email - she does what she says she will do (very rare). The doctors are also very caring and helpful. I had a severe case of pneumonia and brushed it off as if I had a cough and was fine. These doctors knew I wasn't and immediately took action. I ended up crashing and was admitted to the hospital. The doctors and Katie were right by my side checking in on me and being sure I was safe and sound. I was having really bad breathing issues for almost four months, couphing and choking fits. Finally my primary referred me to Dr. Chang. I even brought months worth of medical tests and other documents including medication and prescriptions that did work for me. When he finally did come in to see me I tried to explain in detail what I believe what I had ( I'm going into nursing btw), which was whooping couph. Even tried showing him and the nurse my file, as well as going into specific details of my symptoms. He didn't take me seriously at all, told me it was extremely unlikely and I shouldn't be self diagnosing ( no it's called being self advocating) and didn't even want to test for it and pushed me to go to an ENT. But wanted me to do a "breathing" test. I left feeling gaslighted. Fast forward three months, the ENT I had ran a lab...and guess what? I had a combo situation regarding Whooping couph and Covid. Please if you go here and they aren't taking your symptoms seriously or is dismissing your condition ask for a differential diagnosis or to have them write in your charts what they are verbally telling you. read more

I went to Inland Physicians today and saw Dr Kim. The office has a large waiting room and I checked in quickly. I was taken early for my appointment and the Dr took me early. Dr Kim listened to all my lung issues then came up with a strategy to help me with my issues. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the possible meds, benefits and side effects. Even though there seems to be a lot of negative reviews, they definitely don't reflect my experience here. I came here on a referral from my primary care doctor, and they were very good about getting me scheduled for an appointment in a timely manner. The doctor I met with was good. He went over my lab reports, gave me opinion, and the justification for it. He answered my questions in straightforward way, and gave me some piece of mind. After I had a sleep study, I called to set up an appointment to find out the results. I was told that I needed a second study using a CPAP machine. After the second study, I called to make an appointment to find out the results. The earliest they could make it was for August 23rd. On August 15th I get a call to set up an appointment for follow-up. They had no record of my appointment for August 23rd. The earliest they could make it was for September 5th at the Upland office. I called the Upland office today (Aug 15th). I asked if there was any way to make it sooner since it already has been several weeks since the study. They said they had an opening for August 25th at the Upland office. I said that would be acceptable. I just got an email from them verifying my appointment for the 25th--at the MONTCLAIR OFFICE!!!! The technician that helped with the study was friendly and efficient but their scheduling system is beyond horrible. I definitely would not recommend this group. read more

The most unprofessional and medical negligent of any Medical office I've ever been to. Prior visits I explained to Dr, Chang that I was having problems breathing especially at night with CPAP. This was always met with NO Response and looking at me with a shoulder shrug. It's was like either I don't care or have No idea what the problem is. When Covid started they cancelled my office visit and sleep center appt, to check mask fitting. Since then, No return call for re schedule. When I called I explained that I wasnt sleeping and when I did I was waking with chest pain. Her only response was making appt. in 6 weeks! I asked if she heard me say I was having chest pains? Yes was the only response. I intend to pursue with Anthem and legally. read more

The only reason I'm giving one star is because there is one courteous person on staff named Anna. Otherwise, every person I've dealt with in the past 6 months while battling pneumonia has been so rude. When I was first diagnosed with pneumonia and finally was able to see Dr. Chang (after having to wait over a month for an appointment-no exceptions-even if you can't breath) he told me to "just wait it out". He acted like pneumonia was no big deal. He compared it to breaking a leg, he said you just have to wait for it to heal. He didn't give medicine, no breathing exercises, nothing. He just dismissed me and kept saying to wait it out. Two weeks later I was in the ER and they admitted me. I ended up having to stay in the hospital for days until they could pump me full of antibiotics and other meds. They wouldn't release me until they could verify I had an oxygen tank at home because my oxygen was so low. It was scary! Above all, even being dismissed by the doctor and ending up in the hospital, the treatment I received by Rosa, the assistant office manager and others on staff was shocking. What if I was their sister or their mother? Wouldn't they want them to be treated with respect? I don't usually write bad reviews and would rather chalk up people's bad behavior to having a bad day but I would NEVER recommend this office to any person because their crappy attitudes were ongoing and the rudeness was shared by 99% of the staff. The only reason I'm given one star is because my mom had a really bad experience at this office today was her first time being here for a pulmonary test the assistant that help my mom was a tall skinny guy which name is Elio Carrillo he was very rude and unprofessional to my mom he was yelling my mom at all times.My mom was being irritated and upset for being yield at In which she replies to stop screaming at her that he have no manners the assistant didn't like what my mom told him.and he just asked my mom to get up from the chair and to leave the office and he didn't finish her exams. Had a sleep study cancelled on me. So one would think the follow up appointment would be cancelled as well. Nope. Received a bill for not showing up to a follow up appointment for a sleep study that never happened, because it was cancelled on ME! For some reason whoever I need to talk to is always on "lunch".... no matter when I call. Got told I would receive a call back, I never do. I still don't get why places practice such shady business....I have now been told twice that it has been taken care of. Just to follow up with their collections department and find out otherwise. Went in for a routine breathing test that I've taken before at other offices. Horrible experience with Leo. He administered the test and was very unpleasant and aggressive. He kept telling me to relax and asking why I was so anxious. Maybe cuz your rude Leo and impatient! He kept putting his hands on my shoulders and telling me relax. Very awkward and unprofessional!
