I'm a 65-year-old woman who was ready for a big transformation -- not to look like someone else, but to feel like myself again. I started by interviewing several surgeons because I was planning to have a lot done and I wanted it to look natural. Many had great reviews and seemed capable, but Dr. Kim stood out from the very beginning. She was thoughtful, thorough, and so knowledgeable. My first consult with her lasted about an hour, and the second one went for two full hours. She took tons of notes on everything I said. I remember walking out thinking, She's the one. So, what did I have done? Quite a bit! I had a face, neck, and brow lift; fat grafting (used as filler in my facial area); lower eyelid blepharoplasty; and perioral dermabrasion on my upper lip. I was under anesthesia for around 8.5 hours. From pre-op to post-op, the process was easy to follow and honestly kind of seamless. I've had zero complications -- none. Now I'm two months out, and I feel fabulous. I think I look refreshed and natural -- not overdone at all. My scars are already fading, and I'd say I look 10 to 15 years younger. My neck was my biggest issue going in, and now it's one of my favorite results -- absolutely perfect. An unexpected perk? The fat grafting has improved my skin quality. My complexion is much clearer now, and the age spots I used to have are barely visible. Dr. Kim also has such great bedside manner. She's professional and focused but also warm and easy to talk to. So of course on a Friday evening I had a major attack. I called their office after hours and left a message. I prayed I would make it to the hospital as it was in San Diego, an hour drive. Within about 15 minutes Dr. Burgess called back as he was on call that weekend. He assured me that the hospital knew that I was on my way and that he would take care of everything. He even engaged Dr Schultzel that evening. Dr Burgess performed my surgery and did a fantastic job. He calmed my nerves before surgery with confidence and useful information on what to expect afterward. I recently had shoulder surgery and was concerned about the after surgery gas pain so many people talk about in the shoulder area. He reassured me that he tried to remove as much as he can during surgery. I had zero pain from the gas. It is NOT possible to find a better surgeon. Dr. Burgess is hands down, the best. A total SCAM of a place!…read more I set an appointment over the phone. They told me it would be $75 consult fee that was non refundable but would go as credit to the removal. I asked how much does a typical mole removal cost? They quoted me $200-$400 but if it's a typical mole with no complications, it would obviously be on the lower end, which mine was. The day of, I pay the $75 consult fee expecting a $200~ removal. They quoted me $975! I immediately told them about the phone call so they went and looked at their notes and confirmed I was accurate. So they adjusted there price too $400, of course the highest quote that I got. This place is running a total scam operation, trying to overcharge and when confronted somehow was able to cut the price by 50%?! And then had no reasonable explanation why they are now charging the highest quote versus the smaller quote for a very routine mole removal. Trying to charge $775 more then an initial quote is about as immoral and dishonest a place can be. Avoid here
