The hotel itself is very modern and still feels new. The lobby, common areas, and gym are all impressive, and the fitness center is nicer than hotel gyms I've seen. Service throughout the stay was also excellent, staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed something. Cons: The biggest downside is the cost. This is a very expensive hotel, and many extras add up quickly. Valet parking is $60, and small things, like requesting more than a one-hour late checkout can result in additional charges (I was told two hours could cost around $75). Dining and coffee options on site also feel pricey, and the overall experience can start to feel like everything has an added cost attached to it. I also felt a bit misled by the room description when booking. I paid extra for what was marketed as a panoramic view. The room did technically have large windows one behind the television and another facing the stadium but they were separated by a wall, so it didn't really feel like a true panoramic view. One of the windows looked out toward parts of the building, which was a bit odd, and I ended up keeping that shade closed during my stay. Given the premium price, I expected something more impressive. Overall: The hotel is well kept, modern, and very convenient for conferences or events nearby. When we asked about a cleaning schedule, a lady said, " You just got here, we don't clean after just a few days, and we don't have anyone to do it until next week." HUH? And we have a towel limit, also only 2. No one knew the code for the laundry room; it took 2 days to get the 1234 code!! The staff was all new, and if we had a complaint on Friday, you were going to have to wait until Monday for the manager. Terrible!!

Cannot say the same for our stay at the Buckhead LaQuinta who had broken phones and internet. Not a large variety for breakfast but good quality brands of cereal, milk, pastries, yogurt, etc. The coffee is Starbucks and they keep it going hot until 10 pm! A African American female guest was waiting for her friends who had invited her. Her friends were delayed in traffic, and from what I observed, her room and information had already been verified. She had already been there for nearly two hours without issue. Instead of handling the situation with patience or professionalism, Brian was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and disrespectful toward her. What made it even worse was hearing Brian say, "I am trying to be nice." Respectfully, that is quite literally the job. Hospitality is not a favor it is the standard. Then he told her, "You're arguing with me," when from what I witnessed, she was simply trying to understand what was happening and why she was being treated that way. We chatted earlier and she was the nicest human. As a white woman watching this interaction, it was incredibly uncomfortable and honestly disgusting to witness. The way she was spoken to and treated felt completely inappropriate, especially for a hotel and club that markets itself as elevated, inclusive, and hospitality-focused. There was no need for the tone, the attitude, or the level of disrespect shown. A simple guest situation could have been handled with grace and professionalism. Instead, it left a very bad impression... not only of Brian, the new management hospitality group, but of the culture being ALLOWED at The Forth Hotel. After a good night, sleep which we couldn't hear anything in the room it was so quiet, we started our morning by grabbing something at their market. Great choice! Special shout out to Hannah, who has a great personality! Christy got a coffee, a strawberry parfait, and I got a berry trim smoothie. She loved the coffee and she's a coffee snob. This time, I didn't realize it, but they charged me for the full amount again and when I became sick with 102.5 temperature and influenza A the night before the stay, it was past the 3pm deadline. I called and the front desk said they would try to make an exception of not refunding first night's stay. I wouldn't normally push for it but: 1. Catching the flu is way out of my control and 2. They already broke the contract by charging me the day I booked instead of when I arrived as promised by Expedia. It looks like a beautiful place to stay but please don't judge a book by its cover. Even if you are planning to pay for your stay all up front, I would be concerned about the deceitful practice of going around the third party companies and gathering personal information separately. ****And Booking.com and Expedia.com take note of this property because they are sending messages to gather credit card information and charge the full stay amount.

Upon check out, they refused to refund me my deposit because they accused me of consuming items from the mini-bar in the room. (I never took anything from the min-bar...$9 M&Ms, no thank you.) I spoke with the manager who was unable to help. Finally had to call my credit card company to contest the charge. Thankfully, Visa was able to help. The whole experience was a disaster. There is also a mini fridge in the room that we used to put my baby's milk and things that needed to be refrigerated, inside the fridge there was already mini bar stuff. I let the staff know we used it and did not take anything out of the mini bar which they understood and didn't charge us extra. Room service was quick. Just around 45 min with auto gratuity and $7 delivery fee. Presentation was nice as well. We ordered buffalo wings, fries, with extra ranch, steak quesadillas, and a fruit cobbler with ice cream. All for around $95 delivered. The food was delicious, we ate everything and was pleased. Checkout was great. Quick and easy. They charged the room service to my Amex card which we had $100 credit that was supposed to be applied. I called and they resolved it right away with no hassle. I would definitely stay again since it is steps away from our shop.

The property sits far enough off of Piedmont so that the city noise and traffic is hardly noticeable, yet you are only a couple of blocks from the park and some great restaurants. Everything is wonderful, from the gardens to the architecture and modern upgrades (our shower with ceiling and side wall heads), pasties, snacks, soft drinks at the ready, down to the smaller details like triple sheet bedding and French coffee pressed morning brew. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our host, Judy, was very personable and we connected with her immediately, especially in discussing our shared faith. The porches are spacious, quiet, and if desired, heated. Breakfast is served at a community style table, which also turned out to be pleasant, simply because the type of patron to this particular sort of inn (Select Registry) must have something in common! In fact, a young couple also staying here unexpectedly showed up at a folk concert we also attended in Kennesaw (25-30 miles North) at a community Church. I believe there are eight rooms in the main house, each with a private and spacious bathroom. Personal entry codes are provided and activated during your stay. The team and owner were also wonderful. Consistent with the rest of our stay, breakfast was a spectacular finish. Highly recommend!
