I doubt the latter "comes standard" but we appreciated the personal concierge touch. Wish they had more options in the Mediterranean but when it comes to the Caribbean, we will definitely go this route in the future.

The booking girl 'Brittany' was very helpful and cheerful. She took the details, verified the next year price with the owners and got all approved, then sent me the lease agreement paperwork. I WAS EXCITED TO BE BOOKING MY VACATION AND GOT CAUGHT IN A TECHNICALITY!!!! The agreement states a credit card fee (NO AMOUNT OR PERCENTAGE STATED) but I let my excitement miss this detail. So, I booked my vacation and charged it to my CC, along with travel insurance. When I checked back I found a 3.5% CONVENIENCE FEE!!! (AND THEY CHARGED ME MORE FOR INSURANCE THAN THE AGREEMENT STATED).. THEY STILL HAVE NOT EXPLAINED THAT!! I called back (within a few hours) and asked for the charge to be reversed and I will wire transfer the booking fee. They told me 'accounting' wont allow a reversal WITHOUT STILL CHARGING THE 3.5% FEE!!!. I am in business and know that a cc charge can always be reversed, especially since I requested a reversal within 24 hours. ANYWAY.... READ ALL THE FINE PRINT AND EXPECT ANY CHARGES TO BE MUCH HIGHER THAN EXPECTED. IF THEY CAN 'GET' YOU THEY WILL!! I am stuck with them this time but will NEVER use them again! There were a lot of instructions but it was very clear what was needed and it was rather an easy process. It was a little weird emailing a selfie of myself but fine if that was all they needed for proof of who I was and that we had checked in. The room/apartment was amazing. It felt like a home and large enough to feel comfortable. We used the kitchen and dining area as we were there a few days. Everything was available from plates and cups to sponges and dish soap. However, there were only bath samples enough for one use so if you are planning on staying more than one night then bring your own shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. The white towel situation is very strict so if you don't want to be charged for soiling the linens in any way, bring your own towels. The location is central and private parking is available right in front of your apartment unit. I never heard any noise from neighbors and we were required to take out our own trash since it was basically an apartment complex. I had no issues with any of the rules and would gladly stay here again. We really loved it and it was way cheaper than any of the hotels in downtown Atlanta.

While the "bedroom/living room" portion was updated, I was surprised to learn that the kitchen and especially bathroom were not. I don't feel like anyone should be surprised when it comes to a purchase, so this review is accompanied by actual pictures of the Studios on 25th (standard) located at 47 25th Street Northwest in Atlanta. TIPS: -Be prepared for TONS OF TRAFFIC at this location (not the hotel's fault) -Bring your own towels and toiletries. You'll arrive and find two bath towels, and two hand towels. There are palm-sized containers of a shampoo, conditioner, and body soap -- good for one use only. -There is no on-sight front desk, so check in will require you to take photos of the following and submit them online to complete your virtual check-in experience: Picture of self holding your DL, Picture of your credit card that you used to book, and picture of the credit card you'd like to use for damages -Speaking of damages, while I was not charged for anything extra, please be very careful. There are lots of rules, including warnings about soiling their towels, or throwing away empty cleaning supply bottles. There is a minimum damages fee if any damages are assessed, so just read all the fine print. And don't forget to take your garbage out at the end of your stay! That's part of your check out list. By the way, the minute I stepped into the room and realized it was nothing like the pictures, I immediately contacted management. They advised me that I booked the **standard** room, so I was in the right place. It's just too bad that the pictures advertising the place did not match up to the actual room. Anyway, it's not a bad place, but since this trip was a graduation present for my daughter, I was sort of embarrassed at the accommodations I'd unwittingly chosen. I don't know why there are no photos available of the standard studio, especially the bathroom. Anyway, I've included them so future potential guests can be truly informed before making a decision. If you just need a clean, quiet place to rest your head and you hate hotels, this might work for you. EDIT: In response to the owners notes below, I would add that (1) The room was well over $100 a night. I stayed three nights and paid $451 with tax. It is currently advertised on booking.com for $126 a night for the standard room. (2)The pictures I've posted are of the actual room I stayed in. I did not do any sort of photo magic or editing. That's the room I had. What about the pictures is inaccurate?The bathroom has not been renovated since the 60's. It could be upgraded using vintage styled finishes if one was truly going for a vintage look and there would be no need to tear the building down to renovate the bathroom. The way it is now, some choose to call it "vintage", I call it old and outdated. It needs way more than some caulking. (3) The one star review reflects the bait/switch tactics that made me feel like I'd been fooled. The pictures on booking.com are, at the very least, misleading. The photos of the upgraded units are mixed in with the standard units, and not one advertising picture *accurately* depicts the bathroom. Yes, the unit is quiet, clean, and a unique departure from the standard hotel. However, the consumer has the right to know the whole story. For some people, even with the un-renovated bathroom, the unit would be fine. The goal of my review was simply to make potential guests fully aware of all aspects of the room. (4) This company has a few properties in the area. Not only that, but they have normal, updated studios in the very building I stayed in. I imagine the good reviews are from people who've had the benefit of better accommodations than I had.

They claim the air conditioner isn't controlled but can't get the rooms under 70 and by 6am it's 75 in the room. Hot water does not get hot. Ever try putting a night guard in you can't warm up. Yeah I don't recommend it. Shower took a minimum of 20 minutes to warm up and most of the water came out from the tub faucet portion it's definitely a dated hotel. They also charge the $100 incidental instead of processing it as a pending charge. So double check your statements! It's easy to miss! If it wasn't for a wedding I probably would've left because this was not it. Great location but not exactly the best stay. Management did offer a partial refund after some back and forth but doesn't make up for the issues we had. After waiting two weeks, a refund was never processed like I was told. The location was not willing to work with me as I "booked through a 3rd party site". Which I did not as I have a credit card and use my app or website every single time. Hilton, do yourself a favor and close this location. It's an embarrassment.

When we first checked in their key system was down and we were not given keys for our room. We had to be escorted to our room and let in. The gym is nice but not kept clean. There were no towels available all 4 days. There were no wipes to wipe down the equipment after use. I was able to see the sweat on the equipment from the previous guest, very unsanitary. Dirty used towels on the floor around the gym. And the gym was very cold, like if I was workout outside in the cold. The room was in need a lot of maintenance and repair. The wallpaper was warped and peeling. The room had a damp smell. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. The toilet had either rust or blood stains. The worst part of the stay was Saturday night, a swinger's party occurred throughout the hotel and on multiple floors. Earlier in the night a lot of people were gathering in the lobby and police were called out. Later in the night me and my daughter went to dinner and when we returned the hotel was over ran with people attending this party. I was not able to find any parking. In the lobby there were individuals dressed inappropriate, half naked. Individuals drunk and falling over. The whole reeked of marijuana. Multiple floors had decorations and flyers indicating the type of party it was, playrooms, dudgeons, wet t-shirt contest. Individuals in the elevators talking about activities that were happening in the hotel and which floors they were happening. My daughter is 16 and I did not want her exposed to these things. At 6am, the fire alarm started to sound. It woke me up and I looked out the window. I saw 6 police cars and a fire truck. I was confused on what could be happening in the hotel and if we needed to evacuate. I thought it could be a fire or there could be an active shooter. So, I did not know where to go. I heard doors being knocked on in the hallway and doors opening and closing but no one knocked on our door. There was no phone call to let us know what was going on or to advise us it was safe. We just stayed in our room hoping that we would be ok. The next morning at checkout, the receptionist did not mention anything or apologize for the early morning disturbance. And again, there was police at the hotel when we finally let. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, find another Hilton property that is close by and pay the extra couple of bucks. Once I made my way inside, I was immediately taken by the grandness of the lobby area and the front desk reception staff member was hilarious and made me feel like royalty even though I wasn't a true guest. I'm just saying, pleasant interactions can go a loooonnngggg way. She called up to my friend's room, walked me to the elevator, asked if I needed any further assistance and told me exactly how to get there. Once I got off the elevator, I fell in love with the calming lavender smell that moved through the hallway and my goodness, this place was just quiet. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the balcony area was a nice retreat to just hang outside and enjoy a nice evening since it wasn't full on stifling GA heat that night. We called to room service several times and it was as though we called and they would just appear with what we needed in a matter of second. Pure magic. We made our way to Bar Margot for apps and drink and enjoyed the DJ for a bit before we made our way back to the room. The service was good.
