Bartender's service was slow. We waited for about 5 minutes before she even acknowledged us. Ordered a coke with wings and fries. Soda was flat. Wings were good amd fries were great! Tried a sprite and that was flat too. After we finished eating, the bartender never came back over to us for a good 10 minutes. Overall good food and average service.

Had to write about this place Bc there are a few Restaurants named Chelsea and can get confusing. This Chelsea Pub and In is a hotel plus restaurant. It's right outside of the Tropicana on street level. The place is has a nice Irish pub feel to it. Long bar, pool tables and a nice outdoor patio to eat outside. Me an some coworkers came here for lunch and we we not disappointed. Drinks were flowing. And not that pricey. I had a double makers and unsweetened ice tea with a lemon one of my favorite summertime sippers. The food here was very good and during this pandemic hats off to the chef. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger was flame grilled to a perfect medium. And the fries were nice and crispy with a light batter and soft and fluffy in the middle. The wings were also delicious they had a nice crunch and lightly coated with a sweet and spicy glaze. It's worth a shot to eat here if ur in the mood for a burger and wings. And it's a plus if your bartender is Toni. She was the sweetest and kindest bartender. She also made my drink perfect. Thanks Toni. Let's keep our Resturants up keep supporting your local restaurants. Can't wait to go back for a burger and wings.

Was there for 3 wonderful nights with my fianceé. Running away from the hectic crowd of nyc. Needing time to relax and rest from the noise pollution, is exactly what we got here at the Chelsea. Our room was very clean and more like a home. Love this place, people are quiet respectful and friendly. They have a house dog, which I fell in love with. He liked affection, so I pet him (: The place is stunning, with beautiful art throughout the house, clean bright and very spacious. Breakfast was great....and it seemed to be home made, the best egg omelette ( surprise me, very tasty). And finally, the hotel price was a shocker! You get more for what you pay. The rates are very affordable. Can't wait to go back to relax, eat and pet the pup (:

The first thing we saw coming in.

I LOVE this place. My boyfriend and I planned to hit A/C for our anniversary. We both found we had some time off. This place on yelp and I'm so very glad for it. The experience was amazing. The older woman who runs the place is truly a beautiful and unique person whom I feel makes this place the warm, inviting, and comfortable. If you're looking for something romantic and private, this is it.

Pro: Dog friendly Cheap 24hr bar + food available Unique Nice owner New Dunkin Donuts next door Con: Needs some remodeling Bar downstairs feels like a frat house party Some ghetto clientele at the bar

I found it interesting that there wasn't a separate option just for the restaurant, Chelsea Pub, so here it goes. I visited this spot one time many years ago and absolutely despised it. We decided to give it a shot last night because I read an article that said it was remodeled and under new ownership / management. It's like 80% of the Pub is remodeled and it looks good but the remaining 20% is still an eye sore and right out of an 80's movie. Cocktails were reasonably priced however served in small old school glasses which truly then makes them not so reasonably priced if I think about it. Onto the food! We ordered a hot pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce. OMG that pretzel was BOMB! So soft and the right amount of salt and THREE dipping options. We also ordered hot and honey wings and the buffalo sliders with fries. Both were also PRETTY GOOD! The wings weren't heavily breaded and the flavor was good! The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned and the sliders were good too! Service was hit or miss and it's the weird service you see from time to time at bars where you order cocktails from the bartender and then food from a waitress. We would consider coming back late night for food or to grab that pretzel on our way to the beach,

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

She eyeballed me with her one good eye as she muttered the words. Leading me to feel as if I was the "riffraff" of which she spoke. My friend and I were wearing shorts and flipflops as it was mid summer. Almost immediately I tripped on the uneven wooden floor planking and impaled my big toe with a 2 inch splinter. As I pulled it out I looked around at numerous rusty nails poking up. I considered myself lucky at that point. I would have split right then but it was so hard this place and now I'm in pain and bleeding. I just needed a drink!! Uncaringly, French offered up the daily special. "A good honest fisherman's drink and pay in advance", she barked. I gave her a 20 and she disappeared out the back somewhere. 25 minutes later later she reappears from dark staircase to the left and behind us and hands us 2 steamy wooden flagons topped with a writhing frothy head of foam. "2 Maggot Bhoonas", says she. Her 1/2 cocked smirk showing a snaggled golden tooth. It glimmered in the sickly candlelight. I scraped away most of the unidentified froth and obvious maggots and pounded the liquid part of the drink. To be fair. It wasn't as unpleasant as I thought it would be. Almost like a warm very salty & sour Mai Tai. Refreshing and quite warming because it was absolutely damp and cold inside. We paid our tab and we left. Myself, limping and toe bleeding. Never again to return.

As she worked a chunk of seaweed out of her hair, the waitress recommended a cocktail known as the Briney Trawler, an intriguing blend of Clamato, pickle brine, and moonshine. With burnt orangey skin and a soggy bottom, it's essential to any trip to Atlantic City. Warm and cozy inside, with a nice drafty veranda... and everyone, really everyone, is welcome. Come have a dram at the Drafty Clam!

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.
