At that time she was very put off but obliged anyway. Come on lady it was many weeks in advance. She made sure we knew we couldn't change it again which was fine and understandable. Then the morning of our massages a few hours before she had the nerve to ask to reschedule our back to back massages for two of us for a later time. I am sure to fit someone else in. She was pretty rude about it and basically made us feel we had to change our times so we told her we could call back in a few mins to see if we could rearrange our schedule. We were so put off about her tone and unprofessionalism but figured we would go ahead since we didn't feel like we had a choice. We called her back explained we could change our times & it was inconvenient but would do it anyway. She again called after we agreed to try to change it back but we explained we would keep our new time bc we had already rearranged our schedule. Then we go about our day for a few hours away from our phone. Meanwhile she was texting saying she was going to cancel our 2 massages! Then proceeds to leave a voice mail saying we had been unprofessional about not responding promptly to her cancellation texts so she wanted to make sure we got the message and went on a rant via voice mail how she no longer felt comfortable giving massages based on the vibe of the phone conversations and how she was bending over backwards for us after we had changed our times for massages multiple times (ummm wrong) never once mentioning we did once a month ago and it was her that needed us to change our times the day of! She went on and on for several minutes on how she was so busy an overwhelmed and our conversations didn't help and she no longer wanted to keep our appointments! What a NUT JOB! We got this message on our way out about an hour before our time!! Basically this woman might give a good massage but based on her insane antics and unprofessionalism I would never ever trust someone like her or recommend anyone going to her for a massage since she's a one woman business. She obviously never took customer service 101! It's the things like this that make you go hummm...now how do people like this own a business?!

I put it into my calendar instantly and set reminders. When I went for my 5:15 pm appointment , the owner, Kim, ( in a very rinky dink depressing office) said I was too late and was a no show and basically called me a liar - said they never made or give 5:15 pm appointments . She was rude , and spoke like an uneducated truck driver from the bowels of the Bronx. ( nothing against truck drivers or the Bronx) After reading Steve's review- who I do not know- I believe they did this on purpose, probably because I left a sting, almost irate vm message after the 6th time I called to redeem the groupon. They should be thrown out of groupon altogether . Don't go here - buyer beware!

Even if it was a misunderstanding about the date if appointment, I'll never know. Regarding the vendor, the customer service was a three out of 10. No one every called me about my complaint last week. It took weeks for someone to call me back to make an appointment and weeks to schedule one. Way too much time wasted on three separate occasions where a reasonable professional response should have been provided (generally 24-48 hrs). I will say the service (massage) was outstanding with Kim and was exactly 50 minutes as promised. The issue of the complaint never came up by the vendor, I was never even asked if I liked the service. Due to that alone, I would not return though I was looking for a new therapist. Mine is retiring. What a shame my concern wasn't ever addressed. I have stayed with my last massage therapist for years.

Her healing hands know exactly where to work the knots out and reverse my pain and improve my posture from hunching over at work all the time. Usually, therapists do a cookie cutter routine and avoid focused work, but not Alyse. Aside from the physical benefits, my mental stress was dramatically reduced and I left feeling completely rejuvenated and balanced. As soon as you walk in, you automatically feel like life slows down a bit and everything smells like heaven. The massage table itself is sooooooo comfortable and has an infrared heated BioMat (which I'm obsessed with!) which is awesome just to NAP on, but combined with a massage..... WOW.
