This place is not the best. We needed to sleep badly upon our arrival, but the room was not clean even 2 hours after scheduled check-in. We eventually settled for the wrong room type just to get some shut eye. The rooms are crappy looking, nothing like the pictures on the web site. The rooms have shitty "Smart" thermostats that won't let the room temp get cool enough for us to sleep comfortably. On the plus side the grounds are gorgeous, and if you live a quiet, peaceful place it has this in spades. Still, too many deal breakers, can not recommend. read more

We did have a great start, we had lunch at the Osprey Clubhouse food was fantastic, wait staff was outstanding. Then we went to play golf at the North course. Like playing a two star city course. I know things have been tough with the Covid, but if you have the courses you must spend time on quality. The tees had not been cut all week, the fairways were terrible. We bought these certificates through group golfer, it was not worth it. Had never played there thought it would be a nice get away ( wrong ). No going back.. read more

Osprey Clubhouse female bartender (7/12/20) was terrible. No personality and just worked on processing a stack of tickets instead of focusing on customers. The place was almost empty and yet she still never looked up or acknowledged our existence. My wife and I were contemplating how much tip we should leave (if any) when she brought the bill only to find out 20% was automatically added to the bill "for my convenience!" That was the first time we saw her smile. Are you kidding me! What a joke. No wonder she was terrible. No reason to work hard when you are getting an automatic 20%. Been coming for many years but each year the service and courses are going downhill. To charge an automatic service fee of 20% is unacceptable and Innisbrook will pay the price in the long run. As a single mom with 2 kids and 2 dogs, stress is my middle name. I felt at home and the facial I received was mind blowing. It was as if all my stress just melted away. We were there for a 3 day conference. Everyone we met was super nice and professional. The gold course view was lovely. However, my Key Card went "dead", so I had to drive back to the registration building to obtain a new one. Desk clerk said it was an ongoing issue with key cards. The room TV stopped working in the evening. The repairman came to fix the faulty connection, (another ongoing issue with the resort TV's) the next morning at 8, just as I was leaving, Get accustomed to riding a tram, as everything is a ride away, unless you drive your car to the swimming pool, breakfast, hotel restaurants, or anything else. Finally, Patio smelled of cat urine from the apartment next door's cat. read more

I live about 30 minutes form the Innisbrook Golf Club and Resort. I have not STAYED at the resort for this reason, but I have been there for a variety of functions, dinners and their spa. Innisbrook is a sprawling resort on a huge amount of land in Palm Harbor. From the front entrance on US 19, it doesn't look like much beyond there, but inside is a little private paradise. I was there for a company event recently and got to take a peek into the rooms where some of my co workers from out of town were staying and they were really quite lovely. Perhaps a little outdated, they could use a renovation, but a lot nicer than your average Best Western Hotel...not quite the Don Cesar. What Innisbrook is best known for is their golf. It's all about the clubs and balls over there and it reflects a true golfer lifestyle as you see long khaki shorts, plaid polo shirts and goofy socks everywhere you go. But, if you are not a golfer, there are other amenities there that you simply must partake in. One of those things is Packard's Steakhouse. They make a delicious steak there, the food is very good, the service is great and the ambiance is wonderful. I am not going to do a full review of them here, because they really deserve their own review. Another great spot to eat is the Market Salamander Grille. Great fresh food and a lot of seasonal offerings. Good stuff if you are a bit more health conscious. But my favorite part of Innisbrook? The Indaba Spa. They offer EVERYTHING there for relaxation. I do mean, everything. From waxing parts of yourself that you didn't even know you had hair on (let alone that you even had on your body to begin with) to facials, manicures, pedicures, make up services, salon services, But the massages...so many to choose from including the "Four Hand" massage where you get two masseurs working on your body. They have couples massage, Reiki, stone massage, swedish, deep tissue, Thai massage, etc. You can even get a massage in your suite if you'd like. The grounds are beautifully manicured, the pools are kept in perfect condition. The service there is wonderful and everyone is so lovely and helpful. If you have an opportunity to stay there, do so. If you don't...go to an event there some night and enjoy all the spacious beauty that is Innisbrook, a little piece of paradise right in Central Florida. read more

My cousin and several family members stayed here over the weekend. I did not book a room here but spent tons of time in many different rooms and all over the property. If it weren't for the nasty ass out dated smelly rooms this place would be a 5. But since most people go to resorts and have to spend time in their rooms, you would think a resort that has security at the gate would be a whole lot nicer. One room smelled of smoke sooooo bad. The pool was SPECTACULAR though kids were just running everywhere, forget about enjoying the hot tub, as there were little kids in there as well even though there are signs that state it is not allowed. The little market is extremely over priced, for 9 bottles of water, 4 bags of chips and several candy bars the bill was $50 dollars! No lie! The property is nice, the staff is nice. I just wouldn't book here thinking you are getting a high end resort as that is soooo far from the case. read more

NOPE! Never again! We booked a room with two queen sized beds. Upon arrival the front office gives us our room keys for our room--turns out this room was taken!! They gave us keys to a room that was occupied by another guest. WE WaLKED IN ON ANOTHER GUESTS ROOM! We immediately called room service and get put on hold for several minutes. No apologies but they asked us to come back to the front lobby and get another room. We get another room and this room isn't occupied but has ONE king sized bed and a roll out couch. We reserved a room with two queen sized beds. We brought this issue to the attention of the staff at check in and they looked at us like we had three heads and we shouldn't be worried about having a roll out bed. So we went with two couples and we were expecting two queen beds. We end up with a king bed and a roll out couch mattress. This place is out of touch when it comes to customer service. This place is nice and has a lot of property but I'd definitely NEVER come here again. Spend your money staying somewhere with proven reviews. read more

This is my 3rd time staying at Innisbrook and I absolutely love it. Usually I am in town for business and don't have my boys with me, but every time I am here, I cannot wait to come back and bring my boys. The grounds are beautiful and secure. The pool and activities always sound fun. The room is always clean and tidy and has the comforts of home with a full kitchen, sitting area, bedroom area and patio. I absolutely love this resort and always find great deals for staying here. Highly recommend for a quick getaway alone or with your small children. Everything you need is onsite. read more

I have been to Innisbrook around 6-7 different times, and each experience has been exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the grounds are well kept. My favorite aspect of Innisbrook is their greens because they are fast! The course is always challenging especially the "Snake Pit." One event I look forward to every year is the Valspar Championship, nothing like seeing Jordan Speith sink a 35 ft putt for birdie! read more

If you are a golfer or not, this is a superb resort in the Tampa area. Approaching the resort along US Highway 19, you are certain that you must be in the wrong place because there is truly nothing remarkable about the approach. That is until you make the turn down a beautiful tree lined street to approach the guarded entrance gate to the property. One note of caution though, about halfway between the gate and US 19, you come to an intersection with a stop sign. The cross traffic does not have a stop sign, the roads are dark at night, and the oncoming traffic moves at rather high speed. Be cautious. Once you pass the gate it can get a bit confusing navigating this sprawling resort complex. However, once you locate your destination it as if you have entered another world. On the night of our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the bellman who escorted us to the desk and assisted with our luggage. The front desk agent made us feel as if we were the only guests staying at the resort. We were given his personal, undivided attention while the bellman stood by, ready to take our keys and escort us to our room. The room was spacious and comfortable and very close to the club house where our golf tournament would begin from the next morning. The Copperhead course is home to the Valspar Championship PGA tournament and is an Amazingly well maintained and challenging course that even I, a novice golfer was able to play and enjoy. My wife enjoyed a relaxing day at the spa and bicycling around the resort. The dining rooms were beautifully appointed and the food was well prepared. Service was friendly yet professional. Innisbrook is certainly worth a visit and we look forward to returning. read more

we visited our uncle and his lovely wife who have a beautiful home that opens right onto one of the several courses here at this luxury resort. We received a tour of the club and resort, which hosts annually a PGA event at its noted Copperhead course. The facilities and courses are amazing, as are the residences and condo developments. This is a gated community with exceedingly tight security. Dues at this club are considerable. We've seen several beautiful country clubs and resorts in Florida. This is obviously one of the very finest we have ever had the privilege to see and tour. I can only hope to come back and play 9 or 18 holes here soon one day! read more

Went here for an event and unfortunately the only option was the buffet. The rice was stale, the chicken schezwan was dry and disgusting, the tilapia was mushy and over sauced. Beautiful entry with lots of grounds to play golf, however if your not a golf player this wouldnt matter. The staff were very friendly and informative. The grounds were so big they have a 24 hour shuttle bus service that can take you to different building in the resort as well as the facilities. The shuttle bus drivers were so kind and patience, the service was quite fast as well. As soon as you call for a shuttle bus make sure to RUN outside of your room because they were there by 2 min. We got a 2 bedroom for i believe around $120 or so. Maybe more, but the room was spacious! They have a fully equipped kitchen with just about every utensil you need as well as a large spacious living room. We stayed in the Musselburgh building on the ground floor and was very accessible through the patio. The first bedroom had 2 beds which was your typical guest bedroom and right across it was a bathroom. A little small but not a big deal. The 2nd bedroom was the master with a large king size bed. This room had a walk in closet that was very generous for all of my clothing. The entire suite was amazing and spacious. The facilities were amazing but far apart. The tennis courts was in the other side of the resort but the courts was nonetheless spectacular. Clay courts were kept maintain and I believe they had like 10 + courts. They have about 6 pools or so, the main one called the lochness pool is a great family pool. The reason why I give this a 3 star is because of the convenience. Because the grounds were so big you needed a car to get around. Walmart was about a 7 min drive but a 20 min walk. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CAR. We were forced to rent one because everything was far away. Overall not bad resort. Not sure if I would go back to be honest. read more

Eight buddies stayed and played golf four days. Just fantastic. They had tournaments in the morning so we had the courses to ourselves in the afternoon. Copperhead, Island - both great. Only cons were the need for a shuttle bus to get you from the clubhouse to the range (Island) and the rooms were a little dated. Really not a big deal. This place is for the rich only. Even if you get a good room rate, the place is 45 minutes from the airport which is a $75 cab ride. The food is super expensive and if you don't have a car, you're stuck with a $25 box lunch. I went to a conference there and while the room was fine, the guest services people were horrible. I received three bills, all different, and when I called to complain, they kept hanging up on me. The bellman insisted on calling a car service which was twice as much as an Uber but he didn't bother telling me that. When I called the hotel I was told they had nothing to do with the car service. The driver told me the hotel set the price. They're dishonest and the resort is nothing special. Bring your wallet and get ready to be ripped off. read more

I had to launch a flare to get wait staff to notice me. Food arrived. No silverware had to launch another flare to get a fork and napkin. The place wasn't crowded and there were at least 6 servers. The food Chili and Poached Shrimp Cocktail was very good. Fresh shrimp and the sauce had just enough bite. So at least the kitchen has its act together. Considering I was at a 1st rate resort the service ranks below Chili's. Having hosted a PGA event the weekend before you would expect better. Doubt I will ever come back. read more

Huge property with many amenities we locked forward to enjoying. However they put us in Belfast building which had a terrible odor upon entering. We thought maybe it's just the lobby of the building but the odor was also in the hallway and in our room. We couldn't take it and went back to the front desk. They were very nice about it and off red another room but both they and we feared the same problem. They told us they had we booked thru them they would have refunded the full amount but stance we booked thru Expedia, we would have to check with them for a full refund. We contacted Expedia who told us the hotel refused to refund since they offered another room and we chose to cancel instead. I trust Expedia based on past experience. I cannot recommend this hotel because of the way they handled this. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Arrived and everything seemed to start off well from staff to the actual resort. The amenities were okay, nothing special. Then we get to our room. Pictures do way more justice then what you receive. We were fine with the room being a little dated, until we noticed cleanliness and small things. No keurigs like they show in the pictures, though the coffee pot we had, contained stale coffee in it. Not only that, but we also had lipstick on our coffee mugs. Then as we make our way to the bathroom, we find feces on the toilet seat. Then the last straw that finally made us call front desk, is the fact that the pull out bed that we were going to use, had FRESH urine on it. I do not recommend this to anyone unless you enjoy living like a slob, and enjoy the fact that you can't really watch tv. read more

This place is beautiful! The grounds are amazing. A pool at almost every building, and the main Lockness pool. The shuttle takes you all over the complex quickly. Packard Steakhouse was top notch. This place is expensive but worth the trip. I do not golf, but from what I hear it is great. I would have given them 5 stars, but we had a terrible time with customer services, managers, and maid services. The first two days were tough due to the lack of customer services. I went to the market salamander grill and order a steak and silver oak wine. Needless to say the silver oak was more expensive than dinner. Two HUGE ISSUES: Wine glasses smelled like shit. The bar staff fixed it and they are AWESOME. Steak was cooked wrong. Not to be picky, but I ordered med rare and it was med well. Then I got a new steak that was the same. Finally a third steak came out....their premier rib eye. It was awful. Don't go here. This used to be a first class place but the food sucks. The golf is great but I wouldn't feed a starving person their food. At one point I used to recommend their food over the famous berns ... Not anymore. I have tried to express this sentiment repeatedly in the past few years to no avail. I'm so embarrassed that my neighborhood, also a PGA tour stop, cant get it together. read more

VERY POOR SHAPE....bunkers not trimmed....fairway grass all weeds and poorly cut....greens are cut too long and are bumpy....municipal courses are in better shape.... direction signs on golf course nonexistent.... what appears to be a top quality facility is only a mirage. This is not a luxury resort. This is a golf outing. The pool is nice, and there are activities for kids (few, during lunch hours). The food is overpriced as most resorts are, but the portion size was decent. I ordered a tropical drink (supposedly alcoholic) at the pool that amounted to a virgin smoothie and set me back $10. The property has been minimally updated since the 70's. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained. Now the focus needs to turn to the rooms. read more

I recently traveled to the area to visit with my Aunt while my husband attended a conference that was here at the resort. This property is quite old, so the rooms are very outdated. We were in a "regular hotel room" (the resorts terminology) so we had two double beds instead of one king, there was no room service available at the resort (normally this is not an issue but I arrived late and did not want to eat dinner in the dining room), our room did not even have a small refrigerator, so no opportunity for cold water or snacks in the room (we had to throw out an amazing dessert we took back from a restaurant when we discovered we could not keep it cold). Our neighbor mentioned she did not even have bottled water in her room... This resort is large, so you have to call for a tram to take you up to the lobby unless you want to make the walk up - it was about a 15min walk from our room. For the most part, the staff were all very nice and tried to be as accommodating as they could. There are only two dining options on property, both have limited menus and are quite expensive. There are many amazing options around town, you just have to Uber to/from as the hotel does not offer a shuttle service to local venues. Unless you plan to play golf, I would recommend finding a newer hotel. read more

Would come back ONLY to play the Copperhead golf course, which was AMAZING. The service at the golf courses was also terrific. DId not enjoy our round at the Island course, which pales in comparison to the Copperhead course. Plus, the marshals did nothing to curb the behavior of the group of drunk, obnoxious group of guys ahead of us. Would not stay here again, and we actually went home a night early rather than spend another night as we found the bed and pillows uncomfortable. Since we live an hour away, we felt this was the better option. In short, the accommodations are dated and ugly. There are no elevators, so be prepared to haul your suitcases up and down the stairs. read more

The staff was polite, helpful, and friendly-especially Shelby and Kerry, who made our breakfast a very cheery meal. Got two basic hotel type rooms in the Portrush, nothing to write home about (weird not to have a mini fridge, but we got by - if our 2 guests had stayed 2 nights we'd have been more comfortable in a suite w a kitchen, but fun w across the hall access nonetheless). Invited our eldest & got away to pool hop, take in sunset at Rusty Bellies and reminisce about a lifetime of SPEBSQSA Labor Day memories. Johnny Grits for breakfast & Miss Vickies for the cold plate 1/2# shrimp and more soaking in our "private" Peacock pool rounded out of vegetative stay of just basking in the calm of a great facility. It would have been better to stay at a Fairfield or some other chain, I believe. The common area in the Azalea building smelled like moth balls. There was no elevator The room air conditioner would not cool the room past 70 degrees (we tried and when it didn't work, we called and were told they were set that way) we were told someone would come look at it and they didn't. When housekeeping was asked to come back when they showed up in the morning, they never came back until we called and asked WHEN they were coming back. Our room was completely prepaid and still an almost $400 hold was placed on my credit card? That is not a security deposit, that is the full amount of the cost of the room almost. The front desk, when we checked in, did not know what was included in our room rate and had to ask someone working in the restaurant?? 4 out of 5 of the security guards working at the gate were not very nice and in some cases down right rude to us and our guests as we came and went I would not recommend staying at this aging resort until they make some changes! read more
