CHI CHI CHAMPIONS CLUB. Promotional ball cap with club membership.

For the price, this golf course is a very good deal and recent 2019 renovations have improved the quality of the holes. Repairs to Tee boxes continue with changing weather patterns so don't assume holes will always be sane distances. Be flexible and you will enjoy a scenic urban course that supports all ages and mentoring of kids. Supporting the Chi Chi Foundation is a bonus to giving this course your business. We play as a family during the summer because we can walk it for $19.99 after 3. We meet our son after work at 5 and can just about get in 18 holes walking if we play scramble and don't spend time hunting bad shots. Carts are available after 5 but they prefer you get them in before dark, and we prefer to walk, and not worry about the cart return and enjoy the exercise during the longer days. TIP fir Saving: this year Our son joined the CHI CHI Champions Club for $79.99 and got a signature Chi Chi green ball cap. With card, it is $18.49 with cart or $9.99 with cart after 3 and he gets 4 guest passes for the same pricing to go with him. Discounts apply at driving range for buckets and purchases at clubhouse and range for equipment and food. Complaint. Leave the bathrooms near hole 7 open until holes are clear! Only bathroom at back of course and it is rarely open in the summer after 6. Come on Chi Chi Clubhouse, You promote kids and women out there, so make it easy for us to enjoy the course with open facilities.

Absolutely the worst golf course i have ever played at. Actually played 3 holes and left, it was that bad. For starters the course is a par 62 and under 4000 yards (not a par 69, 6000+ yard course, as advertised on Golf Advisor, Golf Now, and 18 Birdies). They never mentioned greens were under construction, it was merely in the fine print when we booked it through Golf Now. However that wasn't the most upsetting part. The tee-boxes were complete mud, maybe 20% grass, if that. Greens weren't mowed in well over a week and the holes were filled with mucky water. Plus there was dead grass piled up with muddy patches in the green. They could at least rake the greens in the morning. We left after 3 holes and asked for a refund because of the terrible course conditions and the false advertisement of a 6000+ yard course par 69. The 2 men in the pro shop did not care of our concerns. Acted as if we were fault for playing such terrible conditions and refused a refund. We still left and played at Lansbrook Golf Course 100x better and friendlier staff. The pictures included are of holes 1 and 2. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE COURSE. TERRIBLE MAINTENANCE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Nice course with reasonable pricing. Could use a few ball washers on the course. Very friendly staff and clean restrooms

Cut the grass. It's not the US Open. Fringe is 4 inches high. Miss the fairway by an inch and ball is lost.

The course is not bad, really short even from the back tees, but still very good place to play, great practice facilities!

Across the street from the course they have one of the best practice facilities in Pinellas County.

We walked the entire course which is something I don't ever do when I play and it really is perfectly maintained. The LPGA Players are amazing and cordial and we had an amazing time. Went to the Golf Shop and added soe Pelican Club attire. We will be back every year for the Annika Tournament and I am looking for a new friend who might be a member so I can play this beautiful course.

It was a delight to encounter employees who clearly love their jobs, and want you to enjoy your time golfing, dining or exercising. The facilities feature the most up to date technology for both golfing and exercising. There are two on site restaurants. One is a bistro style eatery, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best grits and bacon I have EVER had! The other restaurant, The Albatross, is a sexy, high end steak and seafood spot. I'd put the meals I've had there up against any famous big city dining establishment. The lodging for out of town guests may be one of my favorite amenities. The finishes, the decor, the comfort ... the luxury! There is nothing else like it in this area of Florida. Though I am not a golfer myself, I do know that the greens are immaculate enough to host an annual LPGA event. Should you be lucky enough to be invited by a member to visit The Pelican, it is an invitation you should accept!

Came here for a wedding actually. As a rule I have a great distaste for country clubs because of…read morethe snoot factor. This place is no different. It has a well manicured 18 hole golf course, nine more holes (27 total) gym, two pools, tennis courts and all that. It also has a clubhouse which is the focus of my review. First off, this is the ugliest clubhouse I've ever entered. Think Little Rascals He Man Woman Hater's Club if you're that much into club houses. Ugly brown crown molding, ratty carpeting, ugly beige walls and exposed wood ceilings. The lobby looks like a mausoleum too. After the ceremony in a non cool room (idiots turned on the heat by mistake), we were sent into the reception area, which was the south room and adjoining spaces. At least they actually had on the AC in here. Open bar and passed canapés as one would expect. Some of these canapés including bacon wrapped scallops stand out because they were AWFUL!! I almost spit out the spinach pie; I should've known better when I saw them drizzled with heaven knows what. Scallops over cooked and lousy...at least there was an open bar. After two dark rum and colas, I even had enough of that; cheap lo-rent swill. Salad was simple mixed greens with a slice of cuke, some red onion and a couple of CHILLED cherry tomatoes. Well, there was the next sign that the kitchen doesn't know what it's doing. Tomatoes are supposed to be room temperature; period. Dressing stop said salad was nondescript. For entrees the Queen Bee had crab stuffed grouper and I had filet mignon. Filet was bland but had a halfway decent demiglaze with it. Queen Bee didn't care for her grouper. Everyone else at the table seemed more or less okay with it. To be fair, I didn't try the stuff. Both entrees were accompanied by overcooked asparagus and bland rice pilaf. Blech! I'm sure the wedding party paid good money for this stuff. If this is any sign of how their dining rooms are, then kindly include me OUT of this club. I'd rather graze on the grass from the 10th fairway. The desserts you see are provided by an outside bakery so nothing to say here. Not really much worthwhile or positive to say about having a function here, either. Have it at Chuck E. Cheese or a bowling alley instead! Eh!!

Course is in really good condition but was extremely overcrowded took 4-1/2 hours to play a short…read morecourse
