I was assigned Innovation Air Conditioning from my home warranty company. It was the Friday before a holiday weekend. They came out first thing on Saturday. The Tech, Lito, was thorough and explained everything well. He determined that I needed a new compressor. Everyone at Innovation was great! They had my back even though my warranty company did not. They showed me what good service looks like. Although the issue took 30 days to resolve, it would've taken much longer had they not taken care of it. It's exhausting watching people work all day but let me tell you this. If you need your air conditioning replace and you want a small caring company with the owner actually doing the work and dotting the " i's" and crossing the "t's" then INNOVATION HEATING AND COOLING is the right choice. Both my interior designer and General Contracter said use these guys and I'm so glad I did. They arrived exactly at 9am when they said and worked all day on the job. So, our AC goes out early afternoon the last Saturday in July. I get online with our home warranty company (who I also don't much care for at the moment), and they promptly send me back the information that these guys will be taking care of us. I called them at around 4:30 pm, and left a message, they're probably gone for the day. I figured I'd get a call Sunday morning. I was wrong. So I called and left another message, letting them know that my house was now over 90 inside. Surely they'll call me back Monday morning, they have 2 voicemails and a warranty claim waiting for them. Again, I'm wrong. I call them Monday morning at 8, no answer. Now I'm getting annoyed. I call the warranty company, and they try to call them and what do you know, Innovation does answer their phone. The warranty company tells me they'll call me & set everything up. Half an hour later, they finally call, and they can send someone out to look at it . . . later this afternoon. So I wait in my 90 degree (and rising) house for their guy to show up. He does, looks at the system for about 10 minutes, and says we just need a part to get everything running. But he can't get it for 2 days. So he tells me he'll be back sometime Wednesday. By Wednesday, day 5 with no AC, the house is 95. He again shows up in the afternoon and after 10 minutes tells me that the part didn't work, now I need a compressor. That's going to take another 10-15 days to get. Now, I have a friend who's been in the AC business for decades, and I told him about what was happening. He found 2 compressors for my system that afternoon. I call the warranty company, and they say that Innovation could source the compressor themselves & get it done quicker, but when asked if they will Innovation declines. They're going to make the warranty company procure the compressor, send it to them, and then work it into their schedule to install. Rather than put a band aid on a 20 year old system, I told them to just forget it and I went somewhere else to purchase a complete new system. They responded within an hour. They worked frantically to meet their own imposed deadline. They got me back in my house quickly. They were courteous and professional. I can't speak to how Innovation works if you call them yourself, but if they're doing your warranty work, I would just bite the bullet and pay for it yourself. read more

Innovation AC gets 5 stars from me!! They have been servicing my AC for two years. When it came time to get a new unit I was given a great quote and over and above service. Brandon is honest and keeps his word no matter what. I accidentally paid them $100 to much and they showed up at my door and returned my $100. Now that's honest customer service!! Terrible experience. My home warranty company sent them out to fix my HVAC system. They misdiagnosed the problem and told me I needed a new circuit board and that it would take 4-6 weeks for the part to come in. After 4 weeks they never called and never fixed the issue. They marked the ticket as complete and my home warranty charged me for the service call. Run away as fast as you can. read more

I sent an email request for service on my a/c last night (Sunday) around 9:30 pm and I got a return call at 8:20 am this morning (Monday) to come out and fix my non working a/c. They were out at my house and had it fixed by 9:30 am. Not only did they respond right away, but was nice to deal with, knew what they were doing, had the part on their truck to fix the problem (didn't have to wait for them to order parts), and reasonable. Stay Away! Innovation Air was contracted via my home warranty (first mistake, don't pay for a home warranty) to came to my home to try and diagnose where the refrigerant leak was coming from. After 6 hours at my home not only were they not able to locate the leak (they determined the leak was from the compressor which was not true and that I need to replace my compressor because it was damaged, this part was true) but they damaged both of my thermostats and replaced them with inferior products. At the end of their time, Innovation Air said they will submit the request to the home warranty and ask for approval to replace the compressor. Days go by and no one calls me to confirm next steps. I call back the home warranty only to find out that Innovation Air wiggled their way out of this work by making excuses and said they wouldn't be able to complete the work (because they are incompetent) so my work request was transferred to another company. I also called Innovation Air directly and first they told me one story put me on hold and told me a different story. Excuses. There is so much more to this story but I will spare you ALL the details. Bottom line is, they sent in a rookie who had no idea what he was doing, then after 3 hours another guy shows up (Brandon) who states that he has 20 years of experience and he will find the problem, which did not happen. While they were in my house and "working" one of my ac's started blowing hot air when it was working just fine. Complete joke. They damaged my thermostats and then they walk away because they don't want to deal with the problem. I am certain that if they did this to me, they have done it to other clients and will do it to future clients. Completely unethical and unprofessional. Save your self the headache and disappointment and go someplace else. I ended up calling a professional air conditioning company who actually knew what they were doing and they were able to diagnose the problem in 30 minutes and fixed it on their next visit. read more

I was told I needed a compressor at $1800... Well Brandon at Innovation said I only needed a new starter & fan motor! They totally could have replaced my compressor (that wasn't needed) and collected my hard earned money but, they did the right & honest thing and only did what was necessary to get my AC blowing ice cold!!! There are too many dishonest people out to make a quick buck on the unsuspecting public! Since the AC units are 23 years old, I did have them quote me on new units... They gave me 2 different choices (they have a lot more that 2 choices!) of units and, when I called around to shop the prices... they were more than competitively priced! And I called some big name companies!!! If you want your AC fixed right, by an honest and competitively priced local company, just call Brandon & Randy at Innovation Air... my go to Air Condition Company! Thank you! read more

My AC unit broke last night. I was given this company through my home warranty. I waited all day for a call. When I didn't hear from them I called their number... multiple times, no answer, no answering service. I called home warranty back. Surprise, they answer for home warranty and proceed to lie. This man said I refused his time slot available... he never spoke to me. Home warranty asked when he would get to my home... he said next Wednesday. This man is a liar... beware! read more

Absolute joke of a service. do not use them, I repeat, do not use them. It took them multiple days to come out to replace a condenser fan which takes all of 20 min? The first fan they installed failed to work after they left. When we notified them that the new fan was not working they refused to come back and fix it within a reasonable amount of time. Not only that but some whiny employee named Brandon told us he wasn't paid enough to come right back and instead, would come back when convenient. read more

Followed all covid guidelines, They answered my questions on a timely manner, gave me a very reasonable quote for general maintenance before this summer kicks off found a small problem with the system and fixed it. So now it runner better then ever and will stay running for a long time so pleased with the service provided. read more

Slow to service, but had to go through our Home warranty

After after another ac company was completely incompetent, my home warranty referred me to Innovation air, i called them immediately and was told they couldn't get someone to my home for 2 days, after already being without ac for five days, I was disheartened but agreed, the man called me back 5 minutes later to let me know he moved some stuff around and could have someone there by 1 tomorrow. That guy was early and had my ac working within an hour and guaranteed his work for 30 days, I was impressed and appreciative especially after being jerked around for five days by someone else. read more
