This is, by far, the best company I have ever had the good fortune to work with. I have worked with enough not-so-good companies and bad companies to know this one is definitely a keeper. I have never worked with a company that worked so hard for me. I contacted Arizona Public Service (APS) for a referral to a company to perform an energy audit of my home to make sure that I worked with a company that qualifies for the APS residential rebate. APS referred me to three BPI (Building Performance Institute, Inc.) certified companies. After meeting with these companies, I chose Ideal Energy LLC. During the energy audit, it was obvious to me that Ideal Energy is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and thorough energy audit. After spending 2+ hours auditing my home, they entered their data and provided me with a 9-page report, a 16-page report with pictures of the necessary repairs, information about their company, and a quality assurance letter from the AZ Home Performance with ENERGY STAR inviting me to have them inspect the work Ideal Energy performed after the job was completed. Who does that? Who invites you to have a third party inspect their work? It definitely made me more confident I had made the right choice. In addition to having work done in the attic, I also removed my rooftop HVAC and replaced it with a split system air conditioner. They spent an unprecedented amount of time researching my project to find the most comprehensive and tailored resolution to address all of my issues. Ideal Energy was creative and understanding and took the time I needed to weigh all of my options. They worked very hard to understand my objectives and then created a plan to meet them. They treated me with respect and unfailing patience during my many changes and questions. During work on the project, they were extremely attentive to detail and showed a relentless determination to release a quality product on time. A concrete pad had to be removed for the power line to run from the unit to the wall of the house. Alex found the concrete mason, cut the concrete pad up himself and hauled it away, kept the concrete mason on time to finish the project and worked right alongside of him in 108 degree weather so that the work was completed on the day that he promised. All wallboard, spackle and paint that was necessary as a result of installing a new air intake was completed by Ideal Energy. No more having to hunt down several other contractors to finish the project. Ideal Energy did it all. Not only did I save money with Ideal Energy, their commitment and expertise improved the quality of life in my home, which I will be eternally grateful for. We recently purchased a home in Sun City and discovered that significant damage had been done to portions of our rooftop HVAC ductwork during a roof replacement project performed by another contractor. We contacted Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation, and Brian Kearley came out to inspect all three of our rooftop AC systems. The level of professionalism, technical knowledge, and attention to detail Brian demonstrated was outstanding. This inspection took place during brutal Arizona summer conditions with temperatures well over 100 degrees. Brian spent hours both on the roof and crawling through the attic inspecting every portion of the HVAC system. Even while working in extreme heat, he remained professional, focused, and incredibly thorough. What impressed us most was his ability to identify problems that could have easily been overlooked. Brian discovered that two of our three rooftop units had major gaps between the units and the ductwork penetrating the roof, causing conditioned air loss. He explained that the correct repair would likely require cranes to remove and reinstall the units so properly fabricated ductwork could be installed. He also discovered damage to the insulated external ducting on our third unit where portions of the ductwork had fused to the previous roofing material and were damaged during roof removal. Brian took extensive photographs, carefully inspected airflow and duct integrity, evaluated mounting conditions, and created a very detailed report and repair estimate explaining everything clearly and professionally. It is rare these days to find someone who combines technical expertise, honesty, work ethic, and customer communication the way Brian does. He clearly takes pride in doing things correctly rather than simply rushing through a service call. I recently had Ideal Air Conditioning replace my old Rheem packaged HVAC unit with a new Trane dual-stage packaged heat pump system, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Brian was outstanding throughout the process. He took detailed measurements, discussed airflow and duct sizing concerns, provided fair and transparent pricing, and was extremely responsive whenever I had questions. What really impressed me was his willingness to perform a full Manual J load calculation instead of just throwing in a system based on rule-of-thumb sizing. That level of professionalism and attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence in the recommendation. Honestly, Brian is like the Fonzie of air conditioning: knowledgeable, calm, confident, and just effortlessly good at what he does, and everything was "correctamundo." The installation crew, Mike and Ian, were equally impressive. They arrived early, worked incredibly efficiently, and clearly took pride in doing the job the right way rather than the fastest way. They replaced and upsized duct drops and returns, improved the condensate line setup, carefully explained the settings and operation of the new Trane thermostat, and made sure everything was clean and properly configured before leaving. The new system is dramatically quieter than my old unit and cooled the house almost immediately during startup. I can really tell the difference in airflow and overall comfort already. I really cant say enough great things about Ideal Energy is genuinely an amazing company to work with! The quality of their work, their staff, the time that they spent to 'do the job right', the entire process was a genuine pleasure.. A little bit of a backstory, I currently have my aunt living with me, she is terminal with stage 4 cancer currently under hospice care, and is extremely sensitive to temperature. No matter what temperature that I set on the thermostate during the summer, my air conditioner just.. couldnt keep up, it would run nearly continuously only cooling down during the night, I was prepared to purchase a new AC unit, to spend whatever it took to help keep my aunt comfortable during her final stages of life. I was put in contact with the right people (Ideal Energy) who after conducting an energy audit, determined that I didnt have enough insulation in the attic, that my return duct was disconnected from the AC unit (essentially it was refidgerating 130 degree attic air no wonder my AC couldnt keep up with the demand), and that there were some airflow issues throughout home. I informed them that due to a change in my aunts condition, my aunt was at a hospice facility (to assist with getting her pain levels under control), and she was scheduled to come home the following day. I was well taking care of during this whole process of replacing my 30 plus year old ac. From the 1st phone call, to the home energy audit, to meeting me halfway to my house to get a check, till the final clean up, they were super professional and gave me answers to anything I asked about. They showed up on time, got me the right size unit for my house, sealed the ducts, securely strapped up some new insulation, cleaned up a huge mess & patched up the roof from what the last ac had damaged, blocked off the house from dust and debris from their main in & out work area, wore booty's over their shoes when having to walk through my house, and fully went through all the new thermostats settings and explained how to use it. Install was on 9/1/16 and I just received all of my rebates from SRP. Last months electric bill about 240 and this month about 160 and that's with about a week with the old ac. Alex was super knowledgeable about Trane products and gave me a fast and fair quote. Chris, Buddy & the other 2 installers were all polite and their work was top quality. The girl from their office that met up with me to pick up a check saved me a lot of time and gas. Without a doubt the ac company I will trust for any future installs and/or maintenance. Foolish me. I decided to wait until the weather cooled to have Ideal Energy replace my air conditioning system and seriously upgrade the insulation in the attic. As I look at other reviews and how much money other reviewers have saved in their electric bills, I'm shaking my head with the realization that that could have been me--if I had only acted when Alex, Ideal Energy's top guy, conducted the house audit in August. Alex never pressured me; so maybe I'll blame him. Well, at the risk of being redundant, I'll say that my experience with Ideal Energy was first class from the audit to the proposal to the options to the installation. I can't ever recall a work crew showing up at my front door, introducing themselves, shaking my hand, then without another word heading to various parts of the house and right to work. It was like it was choreographed and I was just a prop in the performance. Well, I'm glad we've had a few warm days in November so that new system could run. At least I think it was running. I couldn't hear it run. The darn thing is so quiet. But I could feel the cool air coming out of the registers and every room in the house felt, well, pleasant. So it had to be running, right? I know, I'll look at my new app for the thermostat. Let's see, it shows that the high outside today was 87 and the unit ran two whopping hours! read more

I scheduled Ideal Air Conditioning to perform routine maintenance on my air conditioning system. Before the visit, my system had been working properly for about four years without any issues. Just a few hours after the technician completed the maintenance, my air conditioner stopped working. This timing is very concerning, especially since the system had been operating normally before the service. I was also informed that the condenser and the A/C tubing were damaged. Given that these problems appeared immediately after the maintenance visit, I believe the company should thoroughly inspect the system, explain what happened, and determine whether the damage is related to the work that was performed. I am requesting that Ideal Air Conditioning honor any applicable workmanship warranty and repair the problem at no cost if their service caused or contributed to the failure. At a minimum, I expect a prompt investigation and a clear explanation of the cause. I hope the company will resolve this matter professionally and stand behind its work.do not recommend! hire any other company. Unethical! They messed up my ac right after their visit for a regular maintenance it stopped working. Everything was fine for 4 years and now a few hours after their visit it failed. In May 2016 I decided to have new cellulose insulation blown in my attic after an energy audit was done on my home. That was a huge mistake because I had an odor in my home from that insultation for 5 months and had to sleep downstairs on my sofa. What a nightmare that was! I had as many as 8 different contractors in the home trying to figure out where the odor was coming from. Along with that, they had to suck out only the new insulation I just paid for, thinking that was the source of the odor. Finally, after 5 gruelling months, and 8 contractors later it was determined that the odor was coming from a cam light and a hole in the duct work. No contractor wanted to touch the job now because they new how little head room they had in the attic and they wanted to blow in new celluose insulation. (I was not about to have that happen.) Ideal Energy was the only company I found that was willing to work with me to fix the problem. They repaired all the holes in the duct work and they rolled in new fiberglass insulation in my attic. I can't say enough how professional Alex and his entire crew were. I highly recommend them! I sought quotes from multiple companies to determine if I needed to replace my air conditioner. Ideal was my top choice, and I ultimately went with them. The sales representative who visited me seemed well-informed and knowledgeable. He responded promptly to my text messages for the next three weeks, even on weekends, as I deliberated about my decision. When I ultimately chose Ideal, it was because the original sales representative had done his homework, listened attentively to my concerns, and seemed to tailor his suggestions to my specific needs. His prompt responses to my texts made the decision-making process easier. Everyone I interacted with from Ideal was exceptional. They were friendly, clean, and accommodating to my work-from-home schedule. After the installation was complete, an inspector visited to assess the work. I assumed he would simply confirm that the job was done well and that no issues were found. However, he discovered a minor gap in the knee walls and scheduled a follow-up visit the next day to rectify it. The work was done exceptionally well, and I would definitely work with them again. I rarely write reviews, but I must commend the great service I received when my AC was not blowing cold air and this was critical as my wife has medical condition that is severely impacted by the heat. I picked Ideal Energy, after looking at YELP reviews , as I haven't used or needed an AC contractor in over 10 years and know firsthand this field has many unscrupulous contractors that will diagnose the most expensive fix preying on the customer's lack of knowledge. But Ideal really came through. Elena took my call at 6:00 AM and by 10:00 AM there a was a young pleasant, professional young serviceman named Adam at my door. Ideal had pre-sent all his credentials and a picture so I could identify him. I expected the worse as my AC is 20 years old but Adam started his checkout, found condenser and coil were iced over due to dirty filters and poor return air flow and within an hour had situation taken care of and cool air flowing again. I was fearful that I was looking at a huge bill or maybe even a new unit, but I was shocked when Adam said total was $95.00 and hopefully no further work will be necessary. Last week our heater stopped working completely. I called Ideal Energy (in somewhat in a panic) and was completely floored to make contact with helpful staff on a SUNDAY. From start to finish Ideal Energy was exceptional. They sent a text the morning of the appointment with a photo of their employee along with a short description of his credentials. When Adam arrived he was incredibly conscientious of Covid protocols. He wore booties, and a mask when in the home. At the end of the appointment he wiped off the thermostat and any other items he touched in our home. Adam was able to quickly diagnose the problem and had it repaired before the sun had even come up! He never once made me feel like he was upselling me- his focus was to get my heater working while clearly explaining what was wrong with my unit and what needed to be done to fix it. I called Ideal Air a few weeks ago, requesting a diagnosis and repair on my AC system. Within 45 minutes Matt was at my house, and 10 minutes later he had a diagnosis. We got the part ordered after calling around to find anywhere that had it, and the fastest it could arrive was 7-10 business days. He called multiple places and even tried to get my home warranty to cover the part. 2 weeks later, the part said it was ready for pickup at the manufacturers, but when he went to get it, they said it wasn't actually there yet. The team at Ideal Air went to bat though and got the manufacturer to agree to an after market part temporarily (my unit is still under warranty or we would have gone this route sooner), as they were estimating another 2 weeks before the part arrived! I couldn't ask for a better AC company, the guys and Elaine at Ideal Air are amazing and do their best to get you cool again, without over selling and it costing you an arm and a leg. I will be using them again in the future for any AC issues I have, and recommending them to friends and family. read more

When I purchased an older home in April 2017 I suspected that it would need some insulation upgrades, it was built in 1977. Summer in Arizona is most days over a hundred degrees, sometimes 115. After my first couple of utility bills were around $200 I contracted an energy audit by Ideal Energy. Then it was clear that the attic had less than the minimum insulation during that time period when built and furthermore had "shrunk". So it looked like only a couple inches (let's call it lower than R-10). As a result of my new understanding, I contracted Ideal Energy to get the attic insulated as close to R-44 as possible along with correcting deficiencies in air flow found in the Energy Audit.
