I selected Innovation Auto Body after being referred by a family member. Body work was needed for front end damage after hitting a deer. The repairs were completed promptly, in less than 7 days, and the body work and paint job are impeccable for an old car. The non- insurance claim pricing was reasonable, however the invoice did not provide an itemized breakdown of the cost of work actually performed. My wife was in a rear end collision that sandwiched her car. There was no mechanical issue but the body was in sad shape. Will and his team did a great job fixing her car and when it was returned looked brand new. Paint matching is never an exact science on any vehicle but he got it very close. Will also repaired my mothers car from a parking lot incident where the door was dented. He did an amazing job. This place is highly recommended. I am usually not the type of person to leave a negative review when it comes to businesses but I was honestly very disappointed with the service I received from this auto shop. I originally took my car into them after reading all of the good reviews other customers had left regarding the work they do and the amazing customer service they received but i unfortunately did not have the same experience. For a shop that prides themselves so highly on the positive reviews they've gotten, you would think they'd strive to give that same level of service to all of their customers. When I took my car to them, we agreed that I was only there for them to take a look at my car and give me an estimate of how much it would cost before making any repairs on my car. They told me they would call me to discuss the damages before they ordered the parts but instead, when they called me they told me my car was fixed and the total cost was almost $1900. When I asked what the damages were and what they had repaired, Suhbat would not tell me. I had to demand they send me a receipt with the breakdown of all the parts they ordered and the cost of those individual items as well as the cost of labor. At first Suhbat told me he could not send it that same day because he was not at work and he could send it the next day. After I kept asking, he finally sent the receipt less than an hour later but the price all of a sudden dropped to $1700. When I called Suhbat back to ask about the cost he could not tell me why the price had decreased. When I asked about the cost of the "shop materials" and what that entailed and why it cost over $400, he told me that it was for the paint and materials but there was a separate line underneath the "shop materials" that said "paint materials" that was an additional $150. When I pointed this out to Suhbat he changed his answer and said that the shop materials were the screws and the bolts but when I asked why screws and bolts cost over $400 he could not give me a good answer. I felt like Suhbat and his whole shop were taking advantage of me. After voicing my concerns I managed to get him to lower the price to $1500 and he told me my car would be ready to be picked up any time after 1 pm. Unfortunately I could not leave work to get my car myself so I notified Suhbat that my coworker would be coming by to pick it up and he said that was fine. At 1:53 pm I texted Suhbat saying my coworker was on her way as well as spoke with him on the phone but when she got there, Suhbat told her that my car was not ready but could not tell her why even though he had told me it was ready to be picked up. I truly believe Suhbat was taking advantage of me in order to make more money. All that needed to be fixed was the bottom part of my bumper that was only scraped (it was not dented at all but he replaced the whole bottom part of my bumper anyways) and the skid plate underneath. Aside from these, there were no other damages to my car so it is crazy that he was trying to charge me so much, especially when they did not do a good paint job and there are some damages to front of my car that were not there before. Also, there were no mechanical or electrical issues with my car prior to dropping it off at their shop but after getting my car back from Suhbat and his team, there were multiple lights popping up on my dashboard telling me to take my car in because something was damaged. I took my car to a dealership to do a diagnostic and give me an estimate of the total cost it would take to fix the new damages Suhbat and his team made, which will cost an additional $1600. The whole experience I had with this shop was horrible from beginning to end. Not only did they lie to me and do what they said they wouldn't do by fixing my car without my knowledge or consent, but they tried to take advantage of me and severely overcharge me and now I have to pay more money to fix damages they made that were not there prior. I am very disappointed with their service and definitely would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

5 stars!! Never been in an auto accident before. My insurance told me I could choose any shop in my area. This one happened to be close and have great reviews. I contacted them and they had me bring my vehicle in a few days later. Work done in 3 days, and they worked with my insurance to ensure I got OEM parts, not some cheap aftermarket fenders/bumpers. After I picked up my vehicle for some reason my AC/Heat wasn't working. I let them know and they promptly fixed the issue for me. It was just a weird electrical anomaly and they didn't do anything wrong but still fixed it for me for no extra charge. Definitely recommend and will return if I god forbid I have another accident. P.S. After I dropped off my vehicle I was going to call a cab to bring me back home, but one of the workers offered to drive me home. Very nice! read more

Honest. Helpful. Hidden...... as in, it's back in the cut. Between the tire place & the dealership on this road, you'll find a little sign highlighting the business. Innovation may just have found a new repeat customer in me. I called around for quotes for a window regulator replacement. I not only found them to be the most cost-efficient; but, I also found out that many of these 'shops' refuse to give you even a quote over the phone without seeing the car or getting a non-refundable fee for giving a quote. I mean, for a larger job, I can understand that. But, dude, it's the age of the internet. I already pulled up my Google shopping tab & saw that I could get that part for XYZ$, & a YouTube video showing me how to dismantle & reassemble everything. So, yes, I'd happily return to Innovation in the future. read more

Some local thugs in my neighborhood got drunk and/or high and decided to fight on and around my car. My car had a bunch of dents and dings on the passenger side. I had been less than impressed with my insurance company's recommended repair shops, so I decided to call around. I originally was going to go with paintless dent repair, until they quoted me an obnoxious amount of money. So I checked around on Angie's List and found this place. William seems to be the owner and he was super easy to deal with. I sent him pictures of the car and he sent me a quote over the phone. It's been snowing a bunch and my white car was dirty so I didn't even notice a different dent on a separate part of the car that William noticed. Anyways - he did an amazing job, and when I went to pick up the car, he even detailed it. It looked brand new. I bought my car off the showroom and it looked like like the day I bought it, it was sooo shiny. William was also very responsive the whole time, and he worked very quickly. And the prices were completely reasonable. Anyways I highly recommend this place. If you need a rental car company, there's an Enterprise 1/4 of a mile away. William quoted and charged me almost $1,000 dollars less than the other 4 body shops I received quotes from. His team fixed things that weren't even included in the estimate, but did them because they needed to be done, and it helped the overall appearance of my car. I had had a couple minor scrapes over the last few months in my car between me and a chain link fence and me and a stone wall in our alley and hence my car needed some TLC. In looking for an auto body shop, Innovation got top reviews so I reached out to the shop and spoke with William Garcia, the owner, who after looking at some pictures, gave me a very comprehensive quote and said he could do the work for me the next week. Took my car in to the shop on a Monday and I'm now looking at a car that looks better than when I bought it! Not only did William make the dents, scratches and dings disappear, but he also had my car completely detailed inside and out. What a joy to pick up this car, again, it seems like brand new. William also provided door to door service to the metro, which made it super convenient for me to drop off and pick up before/after work. I couldn't be more pleased with the job that William did and he did it for a very fair price in my opinion. I recently had two separate accidents with my 2006 Lexus GS300. Nothing serious. But two significant dents on each side of the car. I did not want to use my insurance to pay for the repair. I visited two highly recommended body shops in Bethesda, MD. Both came back with virtually identical estimates -- each more than $4000, which was more than I wanted to pay to repair an almost 10-year-old vehicle. I then consulted Angie's list, where I discovered Innovation Body Shop. It's located 25 miles from where I live, but given the spectacular reviews, I decided to see for myself. William Garcia, the owner of Innovation Body, is a class act. Smart. Kind. And Honest to a fault. He looked over my car carefully -- found some other issues that I had not noticed, and offered to give me an estimate to repair everything -- not just the two dents I had originally intended to fix, but all of the other scratches and cracks -- including two dents on the hood. I was expecting another $4000 estimate. So I imagine how delighted I was when William came back with a total estimate of just slightly more than $2000K to fix everything. We agreed. I left a deposit for half the amount -- went on vacation -- and picked up my car this morning. The quality of the work was extraordinary. My 10-year-old car looks brand new. The attention to detail on the repair exceeded my expectations dramatically. I will never take my any of my cars to another body shop. The clearcoat on the hood of my 2008 Hyundai Sonata was damaged and peeling off. I wanted to have it repainted so I got several (rough) estimates over the phone. When I called Innovation I spoke with William Garcia, the owner. He asked me to take some pictures and send them right away. About an hour after I emailed him the pictures he emailed me back with a quote -- actually two quotes: one for repainting the hood alone (remove, sand, paint, clearcoat, reinstall, etc.,) and a second quote to blend the front fender paint to the newly painted hood. (The fender had been painted previously so we were not sure that the factory color would be a perfect match.) The quote for the two tasks was markedly less than the other shops I spoke with so the next day (Saturday 4/25/15) I brought the car in for William to see in person. He confirmed his two quotes (I chose to have the blending work done) and said he was ready to start the job as soon as I could leave the car. He asked for three days to do the work and let the paint cure. I dropped the car off on Monday morning and picked it up on Thursday morning 4/30/15. It looked perfect. I could not be happier with the result. William was a pleasure to deal with. He's not a paint salesman. He's very professional and seemed to really care about his reputation. I was struck also by the fact that I did not see a single bad review anywhere regarding the paint work that Innovation has done.
