I have had a hard time finding the right office for me, and this is it! The office is fun, quirky, unique and clean. The glasses offerings are small producers and artists - like nothing you can get elsewhere. I was so tired of paying obscene amounts of money way for something like everyone else has. Now, I can show my personality and receive lots of compliments! Dr. Hanley took ample time with me, and I even came in for further adjustments to perfect my prescription. We solved the mystery of why I was having such a hard time with lights (even with an astigmatism correction). She is so kind, calm and patient. This is the personalized and concierge experience I was looking for. Everything is personalized - from the time to walk in the door to when you leave. From the music to little special perks when you pick up your glasses and everything in between, including a relaxation room! They have thought of everything. You are their priority and never rushed out the door. You feel like a family friend. It's truly a gem of a place! Note - there is road construction right now, so it's a bit challenging to get out onto Boggy Creek. Try to avoid busy times or you may not be able to get back onto Boggy Creek towards Narcoossee very easily. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Michelle Hanley since September to get the correct prescription for both glasses and contact lenses, and unfortunately the experience has been very frustrating. Over the past several months, I have had to return multiple times because the prescriptions provided were not correct. Each time I was asked to come back to try new lenses to see if they worked better. I trusted the process and continued returning as requested by the office. During one of my visits, I was informed that the fee I had already paid for both the glasses and contact lens prescriptions had an expiration date. This was surprising and disappointing, especially since the repeated visits were due to the office not being able to determine the correct prescription in the first place. At my most recent visit, I was told that the new lenses I needed to try would no longer be covered because too much time had passed since the initial appointment and payment. This does not seem fair, considering the delay was caused by the inability to get my prescription right, not by anything on my part. To make matters more confusing, I am now being referred to a specialist. After months of appointments and additional inconvenience, I feel that the situation has been poorly handled and that patients should not be penalized for extended timelines when the issue originates with the prescription process itself. I hope the office reviews how situations like this are managed so future patients do not experience the same frustration. read more

They have glasses that you can custom make for you. They have an interactive table with games for children. They offer a complimentary drink to the customer. There are a lot of detailed touches that make this practice more interesting and dynamic than the typical stale clinic setting. It is a joy to both kids and adults alike. They have a dry eye spa room and authentic, unique frames. The optometrist is amazing as well. This practice features a thorough exam and caring Optometrist, great Optician for fit and frame selection. They feature a large selection of stylish frames you won't find at a chain or online and contact fitting which allows you to try samples. Dr Hanley was extraordinary. She took time in the exam but also in discussing my vision concerns, contact use and wear. Innovation includes a vision health check which was optional at my previous office with a $25 charge. I suffer from eye allergies but due to other conditions I can't take antihistamines. She discussed options on drops, eye packs and basic contact hygiene to prevent symptoms. Yes I confess I sleep with my contacts. Rather than just saying don't do that she explained the eye health implications. The frame selection here is wonderful, so much so that I bought glasses. At my previous doctor I would find a few I liked but the Innovation selection made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Rather than just a few name brands they have very stylish selections. If you want light frames, a fashion statement or something you can afford. Pro tip: They sell frames you can't buy online. Jenn the optician who assists with frame selection, lens choices and measurements is a pleasure to work with as she is knowledgeable and has a great personality. The staff is professional and the office is clean modern. I must confess after I purchased my glasses I switched from contacts full time to my new favorite glasses. Unfortunately about a month and a half later I got tangled up in my dogs leashes and face planted. I was more worried about my glasses than my scraped up nose. I had bought a special coating that covered scratches so my lens were replaced under warranty. Innovation Eye Care saves the day! read more

I am a service connected veteran and was involved in an operation that included a tramatic blast durring a training mission. This has caused a few issues since then and the VA sent me here. First impression is the cleanliness and quiet of the office. Scott was an absolute delight as you are comforted in him taking you through each step with clarity and care. After the initial pre testing is complete (painless) you then are brought (not told) but brought to the area that you meet the Doctor. At first glance you notice that Nothing is more important that you the patient. Complete transparency and explanation as you are about to enter each phase of your examination is detailed by Dr. Hanley. She, a combat war veteran, takes special interest in making sure you understand what she is doing, why and expected results. Yea, not like going to your regular doctor where they shove you through the turnstile and go on to the next victim. If I could sum up my experience in a few words I must include Personal concern for your issues, Ways and suggestions on what foods can actually help you in preventing further damage or decline of not just your vision but your Eye Health.
