I was cleared for surgery 3 weeks ago. Norco Medical never sent my ekg and bloodwork to the surgeon. Surgeons office left multiple messages but got no call back. I finally went in to the office and they lost my ekg. Long story short. I had to cancel my surgery. Its not the first time I've had to walk in because no one will return a call. Time to change Doctor. I've gone here for 30 years. It used to be great. Just keeps getting worse over the last few years. read more

This clinic is honestly a joke when it comes to customer service. The reception area is extremely frustrating to deal with. Every time I've been there, it feels like the front desk is more focused on gossiping and chatting instead of helping patients. I've watched calls go unanswered while staff are sitting at the desk, and when you do get help, the attitude is completely unnecessary. Patients come here because they need assistance, not to feel like they're bothering the people who are supposed to help them. My review is specifically for the front office staff here at Norco Medical Group. Today, I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Brigid at 10:40am. I was informed by emails and text messages to arrive early to check in for my appointment. I arrived at 10:25 to check in and wait to be called in. There were many other people and families coming into the office after me who got called before me. At first I figured they had their appointments before me until I heard someone in the lobby say their appointment was at 10:40 and got called in right away. I gave them 15 more minutes after my scheduled appointment (10:55am), but I still was not being called. I was concerned maybe I did not check in properly or the ladies at the desk forgot about me, so I went to the front of the desk to ask how much longer I may have to wait for my 10:40 appointment. The lady said "Oh, she's running an hour behind." I became frustrated because why was that information not brought up when I first came into the office? I asked to reschedule, however they only had an available appointment a week later around the same time. Why would I reschedule the same time when this is the experience I went through today? I told the front office never mind about the rescheduling and I'm canceling the appointment for today. I understand that she may be busy or behind, but not informing the patient about it is wrong. There was no communication from the front office staff or even when I walked in. Not to mention they decided to send me a text a minute AFTER I canceled the appointment. I'm sure it is to save themselves from getting in trouble, but that's wrong. This is not the first time myself, or my family, has had a negative experience with the front office people, but this time was my final. read more

Dr. Lazarus is one of the best physicians my husband and I have ever had. She takes the time to truly listen and explains everything in detail, making sure we always understand our care. She is patient, compassionate, and never rushes through appointments like other doctors we've experienced. Whenever we need a referral, she is supportive and makes the process easy without any hassle. We genuinely appreciate her and feel very fortunate to have her as our doctor. I'm not a big review person, but I feel that you guys need to know how amazing Dr. Lazarus is. She's been my doctor for 13 or 14 years. She came to me by luck to be honest. My doctor just left town and didn't tell anybody. And it was late on a Thursday and I had an appointment and Dr. Lazarus says give me five minutes and I'll see you. I have congestive heart failure which is one of the worst things that I have among other things and she is not only made my life worth living she refreshes my beautiful life with her kind words and her warm spirit every time I talk to her. The team at Norco Medical Group are caring and efficient. The office now has insurance agent in their lobby a couple times a week to help Seniors that are 65+ with their Insurance choices, which can be so very difficult. Such a hard time to get an appointment. On wait for 15 minutes for someone to take the call Need to schedule an appointment for my son that works construction so it's already hard to schedule his appointments Called and since he hasn't been there since 2022 he's considered a new patient and needs to come in for a follow up then they will schedule a physical. Who has time to be wasting. People work and need to take time off to go. Poor management!! And to top it off they don't have anything till mid June. Joyce Lazarus MD is an excellent, caring, and fabulous doctor. She is my primary doctor who has shown professional care and concern for my total wellbeing. I have several medical issues like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, and she makes sure all my specialist doctors like my Endocrinologist, Rheumatologist, Podiatrist, Pulmonary and Podiatrist are providing the care I need to keep me healthy. She recently referred me for physical therapy due to my left hip Bursitis which is helping me. She also did an EKG due to recent heart palpitations and has referred me to a Cardiologist due to results on the EKG. I feel blessed to be under her tender care and concern for my total health and wellbeing. My rating for Dr. Joyce Lazarus goes beyond five stars as she goes above and beyond and takes time to listen to one's health concerns. I rate her with at least 33 stars and give her my full confidence as a doctor. She is very kind and lets you hug her as a thank you for the love she has for all her patients. I am very blessed to have Citrus Valley Medical taking care of me. My PA Ayla Schmerloe is the best, I have been seeing her for the past few years now and I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is kind, friendly and very smart. Everytime I go to her, I leave knowing, I will be ok.She even takes the time to call me if anything is not right. I have to update the last review about most of the providers being okay, after having a new visit to correct the previously mentioned issues. This new PA at the location gets very defensive and irate when held accountable. She is probably the rudest and most obnoxious provider I have ever seen. We're talking excuses and deflection. Unfortunately she replaced another PA who was outstanding. In fact, he was so outstanding he got an administrator job with another practice, apparently. Needless to say, I was skeptical if this new PA would be able to fill his shoes, and she doesn't make the grade, just a "wanna be". read more

Me and my sons have been patients of Dr.Joanna Meshreky at Norco Medical Group for many years. I have seen and been treated by many doctors in my lifetime. Many!!! So I think I have a very unique perspective of good and not so good care from providers. I can honestly say wholeheartedly Dr. Meshreky is by far the absolute BEST physician I've ever been seen by or have had the pleasure of being treated by. She is so kind, compassionate and personable. She ALWAYS answers all your questions in great detail and makes sure you understand everything she's explaining. She never makes you feel rushed or like you're asking too many questions. Never ever. I absolutely cannot say enough about how awesome she is. She is my FAVORITE Dr. of all the rest!! My doctor is absolutely wonderful! I moved and was nervous about getting a new doctor since I have so much going on medically but Dr. Mattar picked up right where we left off and made me feel extremely comfortable, confident, and secure with the change in PCP's. In fact, I like him a lot more than my previous doctor, and the staff is wonderful. I don't have to wait hours for this office to call me back and I never have to double check them to make sure things are getting done. My prescriptions are always sent to the pharmacy while I'm even still in the office. The office itself is very clean, professional no holes in the chairs or uncomfortable seating and they even allowed me to bring my Maltipoo Sophie (who's a hypoallergenic small dog) in with me for an appointment due to an emergency situation. I absolutely love my new medical group and my new Primary Doctor Dr. Peter Mattar. Five stars isn't enough for this doctor, staff and office!!!! They really are the " Mighty Docs"!!! read more

I was 15 min early for my 11:00 appointment. It is currently 11:45 as I wrote this and am now waiting in the little room. All the nurse assistants are just gossiping by the door. I missed work to come to this appointment because I feel very sick and have had to sit in a room full of other sick people while the front desk gossips with the nurse assistant. The nurse assistant didn't even listen to me when I was telling her I was on new medicine and was rushing to get me in the room saying she would fix it in the back. How can you fix it if you don't know the medicine? The group in the picture is three people gossiping, the group became five. My nurse assistant was one of the nurses gossiping for awhile. And she always follows through with sending me for blood work, x ray, mri just to name a few in my circumstance. Darlene Dr Taylor's med assistant is also great. I have been going here for several years now. They also have an Eastvale office that is ran by ridiculously rude people. The staff is horrible and I saw Dr Lazarus there and I so did my husband and we do not recommend her to anyone. She is the rudest Dr I have ever come across. Stay away from there!! Now back to Norco Medical ... the staff is great. They are pleasant each time I go. I have seen Doctors Mattar, Meshrecki, and Sachs. Each one has been nice, knowledgeable, and a pleasant experience every time I have gone. But I have chosen Dr Julian Sachs as my primary. He is attentive and knows his medicine. Almost every time I have gone there he has gotten the correct medicine and dosage so I don't have to make a return visit. But there has been a couple of times when I have had to see him 3 times in a 2 month period and he referred me to an orthopedic dr. There has also been a couple of times when he has called and checked up on me when he had to change a dosage which I thought put personal care into his patients. It doesn't hurt that he is easy on the eyes. His medical assistant is great too. Anyways, I love Norco Medical. I recommend it. Unless you have an emergency read more
