Understand this was during a time of COVID remodels so we understood things were taking longer than usually and we were trying to be patient but even once demo started, we had an unfinished kitchen for 3 months. All that said, overall we were pleased with the final result, it was what I envisioned for my kitchen and I was initially very happy. I'm writing this review 3 years later because after only a couple years of using our brand new kitchen we noticed several issues. The cabinets are not closing properly, the bottoms of our cabinet and island were not painted, the wrong insert was ordered for our built in microwave (I even asked about this while they were installing and Chris assured me it was correct), pictures attached. This has bothered me so much that now we are going to have to hire someone else to fix it. Overall the craftsmanship is not up to par and when you are paying close to 6 figures for a kitchen remodel I'm really disappointed that I already need to make changes after such a short period of time.

We hired them to finish our basement and upgrade our…read morestairwell and they did a terrible job. among other things, they framed a doorway but left 8" shims on the inside which support it, they trimmed a stairwell but it's not level nor did they finish a bottom edge, the baseboards don't meet at the corners/edges, a scuttle doorway was finished on the outside sans door knobs but it's all raw edged drywall on the inside, they hung doors but didn't provide door knobs, etc., etc. In addition, they didn't come prepared and had no idea what was going on when they got here. If I had more energy and time, I should have sued them. Instead I'm writing this post so you don't make the same mistake we did. The landscaping in the front of our town home building hadn't been touched in several years. Weeds…read moreand overgrowth were everywhere, it was a mess. We contacted Design Concepts to come to the rescue. Within a couple hours, we had a callback from Dave. We scheduled a site visit and were impressed enough to move forward with a design. Dave came out a couple days later with a beautiful color drawing that detailed all of our possible options, presented an itemized quote of all the work that would be involved, and gave us a list of 15 references we could call on for peace of mind. We presented this to our town home association board and they were so impressed that they decided we should do the courtyard as well. We signed the paperwork and a few days later Dave and his crew were cleaning up all the weeds, removing overgrown trees and bushes, and trimming trees. Then they installed a beautiful stone walkway, fertilizers, mulch, a wonderful assortment of plants and bushes in the front and flowers in the courtyard. They cleaned up everything and provided us with watering instructions and plans to add to our design for next year. Its difficult to please all members of a town home or condo association but Dave and Design Concepts did the job. We plan on using them for many years for all of our landscaping needs. We also found out they do more than just landscaping and have already begun plans to have them work on the interior of our house. From talking with they're references, this quality of work is par for course in everything they do.

Our association had a tight budget and he worked with us to create a very nice and sturdy arrangement that would hold up to all the foot traffic that passes by. After he was done installing, Dave discussed with me the types of plants used, provided watering instructions and recommendations for maintenance in the fall.
