Not a place I would ever go to again. I have long been away…read morefrom this dentist office but this review is important to make because of the way the dentist behaved. My insurance coverage covered white fillings and he continually pushed for metal/silver fillings for my child. I did not initially know that they only offer metal fillings, which is what he said. I did not want the metal ones so after the exam I said I would go somewhere else where my coverage was to my liking. He was very pushy and did not want to let me leave without explaining what he wanted to do--my small child and I were literally in the corner. I'm not sure why I stayed and let him speak to me this way, but I did. He was loud and yelled far more than I should have allowed and now that I've made some peace with the situation I know how bad it was. He said I should save my money and pay for books for my young child instead of paying out of pocket for white fillings. I said I did not want to and it was fine because surely another dentist would do it and it will NOT be out of pocket. I'm not sure where he assumed that white fillings are a rarity but the following month I went to another dentist and my children never had to get silver fillings. I can't be sure what he was so angry about or why our choices bother him, and it didn't make sense. I think there were probably some untruths about what type of fillings they offer or something to do with his business side +insurance payouts. One can only speculate because this truly was a bizarre situation. I could not trust Dr. L and would never advise anyone to go to him, not with that kind of behavior.

I made one phone call and was immediately taken care of with an appointment. Receptionists are all so friendly and helpful. The guy who took my X-rays (forgot his name sorry!) was also so accommodating and made me feel at ease. But the stars are really for my dental hygienist, Holly!! She was so unbelievably gentle with me that I was actually able to close my eyes during the cleaning and just relax (for the most part). You can tell she's experienced and in my case, when my gums started to become too tender, she recommended a medication that would make the cleaning process more comfortable for me. My teeth are really healthy so I don't see the main dentist often but the couple of interactions I've had with her have been very kind. But my absolute most favorite person to talk to and get my cleanings done with is Huang. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to. She's careful and wont wet you and poke you on accident. She explains everything she does. And the whole cleaning experience feels like a spa! They even give you a hot towel to clean your chin/mouth area up when you're done. There's snacks in there and drinks. Everything is clean and the outside area is adorable. I don't have trouble parking and I don't have to wait. Just walk in and they are ready for my appointment! I saw a video online recently that said it's actually very difficult to find good dentists to do cleanings because many are shady and will only have their dental assistants polish your teeth. I do not have that experience here. The technology is modern and advanced, even some of my old dental places didn't have what they have here. Note: I am a cash paying customer. I do not go through insurance. It's a little expensive compared to other places but you get what you pay for. The experience is much much much better here. And for anyone worried about dealing with people who have accents from their home country, that's also not the case here. They speak fluent English with no accent. Which I know is a weird comment but I think some people care about that. So don't worry about it. It's also super cool that the dentist and hygienist are sisters lol. She evaluated me, explained exactly what can be done and an hour later, I had a beautiful new tooth. It is some type of a filling that she molded and ground to form a perfect tooth for me. All was painless, and the staff was fantastic as usual. Thank you Dr Lee. The tooth you created is "simplee" artistic. Your compassion and professionalism is wonderful. Though please note that there was a change in ownership and some of the reviews actually belong to the service and care of a Dr. Nelson - who retired. I also waited till I had a second visit before sitting down and writing my experience. The first time I had a good hygienist who was friendly and thorough. The second time I had an asian woman who stood the entire scaling time. That was a first for me and I'm one who goes every 6 months. I have been looking for a new practice since my previous beloved one no longer was in network for us. The two exams I had with Dr. Lee with were very brief. She wasn't particularly personable but coupled with the fact that she didn't give me the time to fully examine my toothache complaint was the biggest issue I had. She had basically advised me to come back for a more thorough exam because she didn't see anything on the x-ray and visible decay from the biting surface. Fast forward less than 6 mo later, I found out I had decay underneath my sealant that was causing my sensitive. I came from an excellent practice that was extremely proactive and on top of patient education for both hygiene and gum care. I was always given good information and options as well as a thorough explanation when I showed an interest or had additional questions. That was very much not the case here. Perhaps to someone who only needs a cleaning and is comfortable with that level of practice, this could work for them but I was truly disappointed with the level of service and care and am seeking care with another provider.
