DO NOT GO TO DR. SUAREZ, Wow, just wow. I came here for pain on a Saturday. From the time I walked in everyone so nice. First Denist was so nice and explained everything to me. Said you have infected tooth. Which I knew. Then another dentist Dr. Suarez comes in to tells I don't have infection and it's just my bite that he needs to fix. When I tried to ask questions because I was confused he makes me made me feel like a total idiot because I didn't understand what he's saying. I had already let them know that I had a hearing disability on my right ear and I don't hear out of it and that I was also afraid of coming to the dentist. So when He is standing on my right side. Telling me I don't have infections and he only wants to fix my bite. When I asked for more clarity, he said I've already explained that to you and a very harsh and condescending tone. What kind of Dentist makes somebody feel so uncomfortable who's already afraid of the dentist let them know when I got here. And has hearing disabilities. read more

I am truly disappointed with my experience getting a wisdom tooth extraction at this dental clinic. I had scheduled an appointment in advance, but still had to wait for more than 2 hours just to see the dentist. This shows a complete lack of respect for the patient's time. When I was finally seen, instead of focusing on the actual issue, they tried to push a number of unnecessary add-on services just to increase the cost. I've had a previous wisdom tooth extraction (which was even impacted), and I did not need a bone graft--yet I healed perfectly fine. This time, my tooth was growing straight and should have been an easy extraction, but they still insisted on adding a bone graft with extra charges. When I refused those unnecessary services, they made me wait even longer. At that point, I had already been waiting far too long and simply did not have the time. It felt like they didn't care about the patient's actual needs or financial situation--only about how much money they could get. What shocked me the most was the estimate they gave me--if I agreed to all their suggested services, it could cost up to $2000 for just one tooth, which is absolutely unreasonable. In the end, I decided to walk out without saying a word. The entire visit felt like a complete waste of my day. In my opinion, their positive reviews on Facebook do not reflect the reality. Even the dentist assistants have all been super nice and professional... the girls at the front office are all very professional and accommodating as well. From the moment I called, the front office receptionist (I wish I remembered her name) went above and beyond to help me. She even helped me access my insurance card through the portal, which she absolutely didn't have to do. She also got me in for a same-day emergency appointment. Two days later, when the pain became unbearable again, I called back, and they were kind enough to fit me in the very same day once more. Dr. Lyn and his assistant, Marie, were incredible. They immediately put all of my fears at ease. They were patient, compassionate, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure, and they made sure I left feeling so much better than when I arrived. I used to go here all the time, and my last time was when I got my wisdom teeth, pulled all four of them in one day, and I could still feel everything to the point where I knew the doctor kept slipping on my teeth and couldn't get a good grip and I told him to dig a little deeper and he was like what dig a little deeper and I was like yeah and then he did and he was like oh thank you. That told me right then he didn't really know what he was doing after that. He moved to the other side and split my gums so that caused me a longer healing period. It took a reasoable time to get the top Denture dialed in and I think they would (as well as their patients) benefit from an upgrade to their old system of taking a molde of your mouth from manualy to computer aided. Then, they would be considered "state of the art" so they're a bit behind the technology curve but very nice bunch Eventually I will be getting Implants for the top arch... This place is filthy and falling apart, in more ways than one. There was dirt and broken equipment all over the place. Even the glass bricks had a layer of grime that looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was put there. The chair I sat in was literally broken. The chairs are all in a single open bay, so there's no privacy between patients and it's extremely easy to hear dentists and techs talking about other patients' cases. The guy I saw for a deep cleaning was EXTREMELY aggressive and didn't give me any kind of topical numbing. He just said to tell him if I couldn't take any more, like he knew it was painful. That said, he used an oscillating brush that I've never seen a dentist use, and it had a brush head that felt like literal sandpaper. It took 2 months to heal completely, and I've NEVER had a cleaning that was even sore the next day before that. I went back to make them check if it was all right and the guy just said it was fine and there is nothing wrong with a more aggressive cleaning. Like WTF much. I'm a VA patient and they put on fluoride for no real reason, maybe other than charging the VA for unnecessary work. Their attitude is like the patient is stupid. Seriously, there was ZERO communication, explainations were brief, vague, and impatient. They all seemed to resent questions or even wanting to know what was going on or even how the procedure would go. I went to my regular dentist (the one I had before the VA sent me out for oral surgery prep) and he said while my mouth looked okay other than some inflamed gums that weren't inflamed before, being aggressive in deep cleanings isn't always bad but it also isn't necessary in every case. Anyway, I called the VA to make them change my dentist. These people actively enjoy watching their patients suffer. Between the lack of reasonable privacy (required by HIPAA by the way), the complete distinction for cleanliness, and lack of general common courtesy (nevermind respect) for patients should disgust you enough to never go here. This isn't the least expensive dentist around, either. Personally I would rather pay more for a good dentist. I have, actually. Spent my whole inheritance on my teeth AND have a regular dentist who would prefer I do oral surgery through the VA to save money. For real, don't go here unless you want an infection, or gum damage, potential tooth damage, or any combination thereof. Had I kept going you can bet they would have given me a secondary the way they couldn't be bothered to do the simplest most basic maintenance. read more

I really wanted to like this place because the idea of a dental clinic that's open 365 days a year is incredibly convenient. But unfortunately, convenience doesn't make up for the consistently long wait times and poor front desk experience. Every time I had an appointment here, I ended up waiting over 30-60 minutes. Once I even waited an hour and a half just to be seen for 30 minutes. I've considered purposely showing up late to my appointment one time since I knew I wouldn't be seen right away anyway. I have never considered doing that for any business before. I also want to add that the front desk staff could really benefit from some basic customer service training. A little kindness and professionalism would go a long way in salvaging the business' relationship with their clients. 1-Star Review - Never, EVER go to 7 Day Dental I used to be a loyal patient at 7 Day Dental for years. That loyalty almost cost me a tooth, my health, and my trust in the entire profession. They let an unlicensed dentist work on me. I didn't know it at the time, but the guy who drilled into my tooth had no license per staff and no longer was in the office . A few days later I had a raging infection that spread so fast I could barely open my mouth. The tooth had to be pulled. I lost it permanently. The owner, Chuck, personally treated the infection and looked me in the eye and promised he would give me a free implant to make it right. He swore it. I still have the text messages. Then... nothing. Radio silence. When I called to follow up, the staff suddenly claimed "no one by that name has ever worked here." They literally gaslit me about the unlicensed dentist who destroyed my tooth. Chuck stopped returning calls. I was treated like I was the problem for daring to ask where my implant was. I finally requested my dental records so I could go to a real dentist. They refused to give them to me unless I paid $75. (That alone should be illegal.) Thank God I found an honest, licensed, ethical dentist who was horrified when he saw what was done to me. He said the infection was completely preventable and that the work was botched from the start. 7 Day Dental is dangerous. They put unlicensed people in your mouth, lie about it when things go wrong, break every promise their owner makes, and then try to charge you just to get your own records. First of all they dont gaf bout you go somewhere else! Dr ngo has poor bedside manner doesnt gaf! I went in as emergency HORRIBLE pain after HE had inserted my permanent crown. He took his gloves off and said speak to the manager and sent me home w norco he always wants to fix it w pain meds instead of seeing what and where the pain is coming from. I decided to go somewhere else for a second opinion turns out he inserted my permannent crown on a tooth that had a deep infection causing my other molars to get infected and need crowns as well.. my whole right side was swollen my throat was swelled up i couldnt swallow. I do not wish this type pf pain on anybody! Also when i went in the dental assistant was questioning why i would have pain as well if the root canal was done and after root canals have been done there should be no pain she took xrays and dr ngo didnt even bother to look them over. I asked multiple times is there an infection? I feel an infection he said no theres no infection. Welp he lied there was a deep one! I went to Dr Hemeda who was AMAZING! IN tustin! My husband and I came in on Monday afternoon my appointment was at 4:00 I got there at 3:45 to do the typical early check in and patient paperwork. I did not get called into the chair until 5:20... I understand being busy but having me wait over an hour in the waiting room is not fair . I left my simple cleaning at 6:30 . My husbands appointment at 5:30 he was not seen until 6:40 and just for them to tell him he needed a deep cleaning and it would be $1500... denied doing even a simple cleaning or anything else on him. He did not leave the office until 7:10. Don't have people wait over an hour and then not even assist one bit. I also suffer from anxiety. I was about to leave when they sat me in the dentist chair. I was staring at the tray and I was starting to hyper ventilate and I could feel tears forming. I really thought for a second about just leaving. But then Holly showed up with her very calm voice, I could hear her preparing things behind me and humming softly. That alone kind of calmed me down a little bit. Then she asked me how I was doing and I immediately told her the truth, I said "Not good! Im scared!" and she comforted me and said not to worry, that she would be so gentle with me. Something about the tone and her confidence made me want to just believe her. IM SO GLAD I DID. She was NOT lying at all. She WAS SO GENTLE. Not only was she gentle but she was also very reassuring throughout the deep cleaning procedure. I LOVE HOLLY. I have to go back in three months for a maintenance cleaning and for the first time in my life I am not fervently praying to God to fill me with peace before the appointment. I booked with Holly for November and I am actually happy about keeping my teeth healthy FOR ONCE. I feel weirdly liberated. There was a moment of discomfort and he told me how much longer he would be working on that sensitive area, and encouraged me to tough it out so we didn't have to inject my gums with the anesthesia. He even counted down so I could anticipate just how long the discomfort id have to bear would last. Oh god that helped so so much. He literally did the whole : "okay here we go, Im going to do that tooth now (starts working on it) 5,4,3,2,1...and we are done!" I know I sound like such a kid for this but I don't care. I finally finally got the other half of my head done with fillings and now I can eat ice cream in peace lol I loved his tone of voice to, just so casual and like a friend from school or something. I tried to book my follow up with him too but never got his name. I just called the office right now just to recommend him too. He is WONDERFUL. Even when we were done with everything he kept double checking to make sure my bite was right after the fillings were finished. lol he knew I just wanted out of there so I kept saying "yeah, its fine" and he jokingly said I was lying and kept filing down the tooth to make sure I could bite down more comfortably....lol im glad he did this cuz my bite did improve lol sometimes we need someone to push for better quality of work ....I just wanted out but he was looking out for me. Front and Back office________________________________________________ The front and back office are very nice too, I was getting sick and tired of their automated system and the manual dial outs for the appointment reminders. I asked them to please just remove my number from their system and they actually did it. Most offices say they will but they don't because they want to make sure that the patient doesn't flake out of the appointment for lack of notification. But they respected my desires. They now contact me in the method I request, via email. They never call now, my sanity is restored lol I also like how to back office people ask if I want a reminder card instead of just making one for me automatically, I always lose those cards and I feel like its so wasteful....I tend to use their emails to add the appointment to my calendar, so why the card too you know? Its how they cater to my needs when it comes to communication that I hardly ever feel seen or heard in other places. Also just generally office staff tends to be in their own world having their own littler conversations between themselves to fill time while they work (which is fine) but I hate when I need something and they talk to me like Im an inconvenience to them, or interrupting something way more important....I have never felt that here....everytime I walk up to the counter its always me as top priority over their personal matters within staff. Long wait time without any communications. My biggest decision on leaving this office is the way they speak their staff. Today was my last straw with them. Not only have I had basic cleaning appointments go to almost an hour because of mismanagement on the front desk's part or hygienists no-showing, they are willing to use misleading language to try and sell you services. I got a deep cleaning earlier this year and no maintenance was ever explained to me beyond a check-in a few months afterward. So imagine my surprise when I get a text that I'm one month overdue for a maintenance. So I schedule the appointment only to show up and be quoted $105. Okay, so I figured my insurance doesn't cover it. I ask if my insurance wasn't covering it (Delta Dental PPO only cover cleanings twice a year), then why would it be a "overdue" maintenance (my lasty cleaning was only three months before). Front desk then proceed to have an attitude and explain that this is an "optional care" but it may not be covered by insurance. And furthermore, I should contact my insurance to check in about my costs. I'm sorry, but since when was it the PATIENT'S responsibility to vet what type of care they receive and check in with their insurance? As someone who works in a front desk capacity, I'm continuosly disappointed at the lack of care or attention patients receive. I don't care how close this is from my house. Just had full mouth X-Rays done and I absolutely love Emmy - she makes it easy and takes good care of me - when I have her taking the X-Rays it's really so much less discomfort compared to any one I've had before. The only thing I don't care for is that there is little to no separation between chairs - not much privacy . Dr Richard Lee is attentive and has great bedside manners. A male X-ray technician was very helpful even when the X-ray machine wasn't working today. Then, I'm glad I keep getting Elsa as my dentist. For the past few visits, she has been helping me and makes me want to come back to this office location. Elsa helped by taking a look at a previous night guard that was ill-fitting and suggested a new better-fitted one, which I now use almost nightly to minimize the effects of my teeth grinding. She treated me when I had a concerning tongue ulcer, and directed me to a specialist. The painful ulcers have essentially gone away thanks to her. Elsa has also redone a filling that was causing me some pain. Overall, Elsa is a valuable team member to 7Day Dental, and she is the best dentist I've ever had due to her fixing my dental issues every time I come in and explaining things thoroughly to me.
