My husband took me to the emergency room instead of returning to her clinic. Blood tests were done immediately, and I was admitted to the ICU due to hyponatremia (low sodium levels in my blood). She's great for primary care, and keeps her patients above factors like financial interest or just "ticking boxes" in providing care (that most other doctors do not). A-rating for the Dr. However, there are problems with the front-office staff. They often try to manage the doctor unprofessionally, instead of the other way round - while running her office. Specific problems experienced were: Doctor was running late with our appointment, and we needed the full appointment time that we paid for (out of pocket, in that instance) and I was making sure we were not exceeding our time. The uncouth staff would butt in while the doctor was taking her time to explain matters on her own volition - to push her on to the next patient. If this staff were being so diligent, they would have paid attention to the fact that the doctor was running late and prevented that. There were other issues as well, such as careless simple blood-draw from untrained staff that led to bleeding that the staff did not even notice. So C- or D rating for the front-office staff that one might have to deal with, for the benefit of the good doctor.
