I have taken two difference laptops here, both macs, and I plan to take a PC as well. I take them in not working and when I pick them up they are completely fixed, and cleaned! The latest computer I took to Inside Laptops was an extremely old computer that had an expanded battery. Not only did the computer not work, but it was a potential danger because of the hazardous materials in the battery. The guy fixed it, but then he showed me the old battery and explained why it gets like that. After 4 years of collecting dust, the laptop came to life and works. Oh, and they sell chargers too. I had a company laptop stop working so I took it to InsideLaptops. They looked at it when I got there and said they would need to do a deeper diagnostic that would cost $65. That was fine. At that point all was good. They told me the motherboard was bad and they do not recommend fixing the laptop. He asked if I wanted the hard drive removed from the machine, I agreed. I asked them to return the machine and to send me an invoice for the diagnostic, I was informed the only way to pay was cash or Zelle. At the end we paid with Paypal (not normal practice for our company). After a couple of days I opened the machine to put the hard drives back in the machine and saw multiple ribbon cables not plugged in and the screws were missing from the machine. Before reaching InsideLaptops, I visited a closer place near Wynwood and they treated me really poorly, my laptop was not getting power so I simply asked them for a charger to discard that possibility and they said they did not have it available (after originally saying that I did not need to leave mine); and then after I explained that I needed to revive the computer ASAP, they said it would take 2-3 days to review and then it could take up to one more week. So, when I mentioned they were being rude to a customer and I would leave, they said, "yes, I think it's better if you leave". Then I called InsideLaptops, which was not the most convenient option for my location, but they were really cordial and friendly, so I decided to visit them When I arrived we had a really pleasant conversation while I explained the issue, and I mentioned that one of the ports was loose and needed to be cleaned, so Jorge said "don't worry, I'll do my best to also take care of that". My biggest surprise was that he called me the same day! The computer was repaired on the same day, the motherboard had a loose transistor. When I went to pick up the laptop, my toddler son was sleeping in the car so I told Jorge that I couldn't go inside the store, he said again "don't worry, I'll handle it". Word of warning some of the Pictures of the store front might be an old location. They are located in the left hand corner of the plaza as you pull in. This guy literally saved my whole week of work. He saw me within 90 mins and finished all the work the same day. The price was less than $100!!!!! If I remember correctly, this repair was on a Saturday too. I can not over emphasise how much I support this business. They saved a week of my work, saw me quickly, did not over charge and there just is nothing in the area that is equivalent. Geek squad was not giving me any time frame to even look at the laptop. Another group who do not deserve even to be named wanted $200/400 to look at it the same day!!! Support this guy. I am sorry that I do not remember his name. He is also really direct in telling you your chances of it being a quick repair or something else. In my case, he said that it might be quick or he could rewire my start button so that does not look great but that it would work until he could get a replacement part. I received great service from these guys. The first time I went in, I needed my iPhone screen fixed. When I arrived, there were no long lines. He took my information and immediately fixed my phone within 30 minutes at a reasonable price. Unfortunately for me, a week later, I cracked my screen again while running. My experience with Inside Laptops had been good the first time, so I decided to have them fix my screen the second time. Again, they gave me great service within 30 minutes. One thing to keep in mind is that if they are repairing your phone, make sure to call them so that you know for sure they have the parts. Also, the rates tend to fluctuate, but have been reasonable compared to other repair stores (at the time). I do recommend them and plan to use Inside Laptops for any future repairs. read more

These guys are great. Had an issue where my computer stopped recognizing the hard drive, and didn't boot up, which was a major problem as I was working remotely, and not in my home city. Found this shop on Google and went first thing in the morning. The team recognized the urgency, and were able to diagnose the problem - turned out it was a dirty connection to the hard drive. They cleaned it out, put the laptop back together, and the laptop turned on and started working again. All in all the team here was able to avert a panic situation and resolve it effectively. By far a great experience here at InsideLaptops. What I needed to be replaced was the entire screen with LCD Touch monitor for my Yoga laptop. I messaged them for an estimate ($250 for labor & parts) and got that response in less than an hour. I was given an option to get the screen shipped over night to have it done the next day (cost was extra) but I chose to just do regular shipping (included in original estimate). I was able to bring in laptop to confirm the part needed, paid for my balance and was then able to take my laptop home which was great since I needed to do work on it. I was told that I would be called within a week as soon as the part came in. Only three days had passed and I received a call that the part was in. I took it to them first thing in the morning and in less than an hour and a half I received a call that my laptop was ready to be picked up.
