I brought my (5 month old) 2016 Toyota 4Runner Limited to the AutoNation dealership for routine service. There is an Insight Auto Glass vendor in the service area. My windshield was cracked so while there, I had Insight replace it. On my way home from the dealership that evening I noticed a small glob of glue or windshield adhesive on the dashboard. When I got home I tried to get it off with Windex and a rag. It wouldn't come off. I had to go back to the dealership anyway to finish the service on the car (part on order), so called AutoNation and told them about the glue. The dealership service writer told me they'd take care of it. After the second service at the dealership, I noticed the glue was still on the dash. The Insight rep asked what I did to it. I told him and he said I shouldn't have tried to clean it. .... Seriously? (I wasn't going to stand there and argue) so I drove the car home then called the Insight owner / manager who told me where I might take it and that it would be around $135.00 to remove - my cost. He took no responsibility and said it wasn't their glue and wasn't their company's fault. I called AutoNation to complain. They had me bring it in and they took care of it no charge. Unbelievable experience. I would highly recommend not using Insight. However, AutoNation was awesome. read more

I shattered the rear window on my 2014 FJ Cruiser. This window repair was a bit complicated because the window had lifts, so it could be flipped up by attached arms operated from a switch by the steering wheel. I called 5-6 different auto glass shops and none were willing to help. I even took it to the local Toyota dealer and they whiffed as well. Finally, I called Insight and Chad was incredibly helpful. He asked me to text him pics of the missing window and then called me right back. He even apologized about the estimate for the window and said he understood if I wanted to look around for a cheaper price, which I didn't. The repair tech came to my home the next day and fixed it no problem. They even left a can of window cleaner. Why is it so difficult to find competent, helpful craftsmen (and women) today? This company is horrible. They treat their employees horribly and constantly don't pay them what they are promised by at the very least 30%, and manager Jay Mendelsohn has repeatedly bragged to new hires about his "back end" business where he steals customers credit cards. My fiance worked there for a short time and had several people stop by to tell him this is a bad company and warn him of this company's shady practices. He gave the company the benefit of the doubt just to find out that the rumors were correct. DO NOT take a job here or patronize this business, and if you've let them charge your credit card, cancel it immediately and order a new one. I hope this company finds themselves in the legal trouble they truly deserve. Do yourself a favor and call someone else read more

What a total waste of time and hard earned money. Two different windshield repairs on two different vehicles within a week of each other. Got a whole five minute repair on a truck windshield and then a week later my wife's car needed the same. Long story short, both vehicles crack(s) continued to grow. Went in for free follow up repairs and the windows continued to run as the month wore on. They just wanted to up sale to windshield replacement. Yeah......rrrrrrrrrright..... you guys can't stop a simple crack why do you think I could trust you in anyway shape or form with a windshield. Not going to happen. I would just like my $100 back. Well I guess I would settle for $99 as you at lease did a dollars with of work. read more

'Free' mobile service costs and extra $100 to travel to my area?!? I will not be using this company.

They replaced my windshield and cut the electrical connection cords (defrost) in the process - I had to have them our for a second replacement. In addition, they overcharged my insurance so that the amount made it appear as a formal claim (windshield replacements shouldn't affect rates) when I shopped for insurance this year. They were associated with Autonation and we were very disappointed. Be careful! read more

This company is absolutely terrible! I called to Have them replace my windshield as well as my back glass. They came out 30 minutes late and installed both. The next day I looked at the back glass and it had waves all over it and the defrost lines were separating. I called and asked them to come out and look at it. They did and told me it was a defect in the glass and they will order another one and come replace it. They came out a THIRD time and told me it was actually a cheap piece of glass and they will try another company which they didn't. They just had a box with another company name and the glass was still the same company as before. They came out more than 5 times and when they finally came out they told me they were going to have to charge me for the scion glass and my car was probably deformed because it never happens. Seems funny since the glass worked on my windshield and the glass fit before... they were also very messy and left the black sealer smudged all over the paint of my car and it looks as if they rushed and didn't care about quality. They also lost two panel pieces and won't give them back. I have called and they act clueless every time. Whatever you do ... save yourself a headache and don't get glass from this place. They will lie and steal from you! read more

Wow - these guys don't know what CUSTOMER SERVICE is plain and simple!! Called yesterday - first red flag, the guy that answered the phone talked so fast, like an auctioneer fast, I couldn't understand him, I continually said "what?" When he answered I even had to ask him to repeat the company name, cuz he spoke so fast he mumbled. He never figured out to slow down. Set an appointment for today, between 12-3, huge window to wait around, but whatever. Second red flag - At 228 (1/2 hour before the appointment window closed) today I get a call, that I wasn't able to answer, he left a message saying they were running about a half hour late, so they'd be there about 330. Ok great, well fast forward another hour past the second set time to 430, when they finally show up, and I turned them away. They claimed they called me twice and left a message, in REALITY they called once and left a message. But because I didn't answer, because I have other things going on besides waiting on them to show up, they "went to another job" sooooo apparently my business doesn't matter! And yes, I was at the location of my vehicle all day! When they drove away, or should I say, they sped away and floored it, good thing no kids were nearby, as they were in the middle of a residential area, sped limit of 25 MPH. Bottom line - just because they are family owned doesn't mean customer service comes first! NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! read more

They gave me the best quote out of 3 or 4, the work was done the day of the estimate. The tech was in and out within 1 hour, he thoroughly cleaned the car of broken glass, and the new driver's side window is like new! Our Insight Glass experience was great. read more

Had a windsheild installed and 4 months later there was a pressure crack. They came out and confirmed and scheduled to replace the glass under warranty. Art and Ray came out and had the glass installed in record time. Courteous and professional guys. I am very pleased. They have installed 3 windshields to date. I had a great experience with this company and the prices are great!! read more

I'm so happy with the way they treated me here! Being a younger person, I was expecting the run-around but they were friendly and nice and had a no BS attitude which is always appreciated. So they were at my local car wash and repaired some chips on my windshield in September. One of the repairs was a dime-sized star shape. After the repairs, I complained that the star one was still really visible and he said sometimes they don't clear up as much if dirt got in there. So fine. So earlier this week, when it was super cold, I discover a crack has spread across my windshield, originating from the one of the cracks coming out from that supposedly repaired star-shaped crack. It has since spread further. And close to being in driver's main viewing area. So I call them to ask about warranty replacement. Their idea of warranty replacement is $50 off the cost of a windshield replacement.... I wasn't happy. This was my first use of this company for windshield chip repairs, which anyone in CO knows you have done often. I have never had one fail before. First time using this company and I have a problem. I had already called Anders Auto Glass and gotten a quote from them for comparison. So the quote from Insight with the 'savings' was still $10 more than Anders quote. I mentioned that and they said they'd match it, so since it was done at my house rather than at the shop (altho Anders is close to me), I said Okay and we scheduled an appointment. Come to the day of the appointment and in the morning I get a voicemail from the installer to please call him back. I call a few times throughout the day, no one answers. I did not leave voicemails because they'll see the missed calls and they called me in the first place, right? I never am able to reach him. I do not miss any more calls from him, either, before my appointment time, so he hasn't tried to call again. So, it's almost Christmas, I'm super busy and I get home 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. They don't show. Finally I call the office & they say they'll have him call me. No call. I waited 30 minutes and finally gave up and decided to leave because I have things to do. Upon opening the front door, a business card falls out. So apparently they came earlier than my scheduled appointment!! I checked my phone, no missed calls.... so they came early, didn't call me, and just left a card. Seriously ?!?!? So they finally call 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I was driving and couldn't get the phone. They are no longer in my area but could come back tomorrow. FORGET IT. At this point I would pay more to have Anders do my windshield. But it's not more, it's the same. And I will never use this company again. read more

My back passenger window was shattered by a rock late yesterday on my way home from work on I-25. Insight came by my job today replaced the window, my windshield and vacuumed all the glass out for me! Job was done in an 1 1/2! Amazing customer service Thank you Insight! read more
