Insight installed a new windshield on December 16, 2021. They did so, on my extremely expensive Cadillac premium luxury platinum Escalade, at John Elway Cadillac, the worst dealership on the planet, by the way. While looking at the windshield in the low light of the inside of the building, the windshield looked fine, if you drove it in the sunlight, there were four distinct, almost "spider web fine" imperfections in the glass, of the windshield, directly in front of the driver. Not cracks, imperfections. As soon as I drove the car in the sun, as I picked it up in the early evening, on December 17, 2021, the swishes became evident. Elway has taken no responsibility, and blames Insight... Guess what happens next? Installing a windshield with obvious imperfections, in any car is a big issue, but in a $119K vehicle, it takes on a different level of concern. Even a "bush-league" glass installer should have noticed the issue with the glass. Perhaps this company isn't even "bush-league" level... read more

A similar experience to another reviewer here. I noticed small imperfections in my line of sight. Spiderweb or almost hair like scratches in the glass. Overtime there have been more and did as they said and put on new windshield wipers to start. I have placed a number of calls to them with lack of follow-up 4-5 days after they said they would return my call. I had the installer come and look he took pictures and said the shop would get back with me. Another 4 days pass and I had to outreach. They then said my warranty was voided. I had Justin come out to look and he said the installer wouldn't have put in the windshield looking like it did. I explained it didn't look like that at the initial install and he decided he just wanted to tell me about their quality process and why it was my fault and it was probably a car wash, tree etc because there was a scratch on the paint at the top passenger side that matched. It still doesn't explain all the other scratches on different parts of the glass going different ways. He chose not to be an advocate for me, but instead put it back on me. This companies lack of follow-up was appalling. I two more calls to try and speak to an owner to escalate. The first call was never returned and when I called back they said the other owner doesn't talk to customers, so not sure how he manages a business. They did say he would look at my file but he needed until Monday to get back to me. Now here we are 7 days later and still not call. Godd luck with these guys if you have any issues. read more

I have used Brandon from insight auto for several years in several collision and hail repair shops. I trust him with my clients windshield replacements as well as the many other quarter glass replacements and successful back glass swap outs that he has done. He is always friendly and doesn't take short cuts. He is the only tech that will do additional work if I have it here and ready to do. Terrible in work and professionalism. Went through my warranty on my new truck I bought in July. The guy that came out said " this is waste of time" cuz my windshield had a crack in it and was to be replaced. Not friendly at all and when I got in my truck he damaged both panels on inside. Never said anything about it. I called the office to find out who I had to talk to to get this fixed and haven't heard back from them. Guy approached me while I was vacuuming my car BEFORE I had washed it. TOLD me (not asked) he was going to look at my windshield for chips so he could fix them while I vacuumed. I politely told him "no thank you, I prefer to go to Safelite." He then explained his services were exactly the same but faster. So reluctantly I agreed. Lesson learned. He took my insurance info and gave me the phone to talk to the insurance lady. Before I had a chance to take to her for 30 seconds he had already started. Thank goodness she finally said it wouldn't cost me anything... but what if it was going to cost me??? I wouldn't have wanted it, but it was too late. He didn't clean the chips or the surrounding glass before he drilled and filled with the serum. The end result are two chips that I can still see due to the serum not being clear. The larger chip I can see a circle of the edges of the serum. I'm very unsatisfied with the end result especially because one of the chips is right in my field of view. Before it wasn't really noticeable but now with the cloudy serum, it's VERY noticeable. Don't let this company repair your windshield. Take the time to take it to a company that cares and not just about a quick few bucks from your insurance company. read more

Wayy better option than Safelite. The quote I got from them was HALF of what Safelite quoted me and they strictly do housecalls. They're also able to fix most cracks that are less than the size of a dollar (Safelite only repairs spot cracks). Called on a Wednesday and George had my windshield replaced Thursday afternoon. Even transferred over my EZ Pass sticker to the new windshield. Will be strictly using these guys from now on, they just got a customer for life. read more

Gave us a firm bid for windshields in two vehicles--a Jeep Wrangler and GMC Yukon XL. Completed the YukonXL, but then said they had the wrong windshield for the Jeep. (Something about the correct VIN number pulling up the wrong part in their database.) They then proceeded to tell us that the cost would be double what they originally quoted. Suzanne in their office doesn't seem to understand standing behind a firm bid. Neither did Justin, their owner. If their database in wrong, that's on them, not the customer. I offered to meet them half-way on the difference, but Justin refused. They left with the job half-complete and won't live up to their bid. Bait and switch. Buyer beware! read more

Let me state that I was looking for a good deal (cheap) because I don't have windshield coverage through my insurance. Anyway, I was at the car wash when the InSight sales man approached me, at that time I told him that I had gotten a quote from Safelite a year or so ago for a certain amount so the sales man matched the price (about $20 less than their original quote). I thought the sales man was really nice and professional so I booked an appointment for an onsite replacement. Fast-forward 5 days and the repair man came to my office in a beat up old van with no InSight signage, at the very end of my window so it pushed my timeline off by about an hour. That wasn't really a big deal, so I inspected the glass and paid the man. Then, at the end of the day when I got in my car to drive home it was a mess. He didn't wipe the glass off and there were dust particles and what I assume is glue all over my dash. This all wiped away fine but I was still frustrated that I had to do the clean-up. In hindsight I'd pay $20 more for a professional installer and a clean car! read more

Believe the negative reviews. Definitely do not go to Insight. Found them doing ding repairs at a carwash operation. Convenience cost us mightily. Had a small ding in windshield. 2 weeks later the repair failed and small ding was now spidering. New cost was now $500 but they gave us $100 off for using them for the ding repair. Asked tech who came to the house for on-site full windshield replacement why he thought the repair failed. Immediately noticed what he called an "odd hole" that was drilled into the window by the previous technician for the application of materials. Said he had never seen this done before and explained he never drills holes. Ok, now it's after the fact, but we got online to see what other clients said in their reviews. HORRIBLE. We called the business while the tech was here asking if they could stand by the repair and adjust the price. He stated that repairing dings is "an art" and different techs do it differently, but that wasn't the reason it failed. Standard $100 off for a new windshield no matter what -- their fault or not -- because they obviously don't make errors. We paid them $427 for a window that reviews show they won't stand behind. The same week we had a wonderful experience at JC Auto Glass in Lakewood when our daughter's windshield was hit by a rock and had a major crack. $265 for a new OME windshield and done so professionally that calibration for Subaru Eyesight was not touched. (I believe this is somewhat unusual.) Oh, did I tell you that the Insight technician told us we didn't need calibration because, "I never touched the cameras." The first time we went out, we almost got hit twice when our Suburu safety features didn't work. Calibration is needed on our Insight serviced car and will cost us another $200 at the dealer. read more

Terrible. Put my windshield on too low creating a gap between my roof and windshield. I told them it was too low they claimed it was fine. Sure enough this winter my windshield leaked water and constantly had frost on the inside of the glass. I had this company replace two windshields less than a week apart. In my car, when I got in the dash was a mess. They didn't clean up after themselves. A week and a half later I go through the carwash and through the drying cycle a piece of my molding was blown off! In the second vehicle, a truck, the dash was a mess again. Also, the molding on both sides was loose. They didn't clip it back down. I will never use this company again! And you can guarantee I will by a big mouth about this! read more

They broke my auto-dimming mirror when replacing my windshield and refused to accept responsibility for it, instead saying that the type of mirror I have is problematic. The only problem I see is that it was working before they installed the replacement window, and when I collected the vehicle it was clear that it wasn't working. They were the only ones to have touched the mirror. On top of that, it took them three times to replace the window correctly, and I don't have 100% confidence in their work. Do not use this company! Unfortunately, Insight does not stand behind their installs or product. My husband had his windshield replaced with the company and the other day he turned his defrost on and the glass immediately cracked in the shape of the vent. We contacted the company, Brandon came out to check and stated it was a stress fracture so we would receive a call to schedule replacement. We did not hear from them and when he called to follow up they said there was actually a point of impact and that they won't fix it howevr they are happy to charge us to replace it. This place is staffed with dishonest management and technicians. Brandon blatantly lied to my face twice. If you want to get your windshield taken care of the first time, and treated respectfully, go elsewhere. My windshield cracked and I couldn't see any reason for it. I called them and was asked to take pictures of the damage. They sent a technician out who also couldn't find any damage, but found the crack itself was becoming more damaged. He used that picture to deny replacing my windshield even though I had initial pictures that didn't even show the spot. I wanted a replacement windshield, but didn't want to go with the same mega-company I have used the last 20 years. When they were bought out in roughly 2005 their quality went WAY down. So I searched for a local, smaller company in hopes that the service and glass used would be of higher quality. I spoke with Ben, who was very helpful in walking me through the process. Just four hours later Brandon showed up at my house with a new windshield. It was installed without hassle or incident. Both of these guys were great to work with. Insight Auto Glass is the only company that would come to my home and install a windshield in my Audi A 4 convertible. David at the Evergreen Car Wash saw my windshield and I told him I already had an appointment with Safelite. Safelite called me and said that my windshield is too involved for mobile service and I would have to drive to one of their locations. I don't always like driving to the city so I preferred to find someone in Evergreen to replace my windshield so I took it to our local Chris' glass. They attempted it but said they didn't feel comfortable with it. I have used Chris's glass for all my home glass building and remodeling needs- they are awesome for custom glass. I was bummed and thought I would have to drive to Denver and sit for hours. So I called David at Insight. We made an insurance claim and they are a preferred company with USAA so it was easy. He said yep my car is very involved but they would come to my home and install my windshield. James an installer has replaced Audi A 4 convertible windshields many times so he felt very comfortable coming to home for the installation. He was great and did a professional job. It is warranted if I ever have a problem. If I ever need a new windshield I know exactly who I am going to call- David with Insight and I will request James. I have both business cards. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!! Be warned! My husbands windshield was broken both front and rear. A tech came out two weeks ago and was supposed to do both at the same time. He got the front done and forgot to order the molding for the rear, they said they would be back Tuesday to put the rear window in. Tuesday came they didn't order the molding yet........ Wednesday they say they are waiting on it from Kia. We tried calling all our conversations with josh one of the managers were crazy because he never called us back when he said he would. We have been lied to numerous times. Fast forward two weeks to yesterday, they said they had the part and it would be done yesterday........nope! THEY GOT RID OF THE GLASS THIS TIME!!!!!! But did have the molding, now it will take 2-4 days. I called to check to make sure they actually ordered the glass today and they told me it will be 5 days!!!!!! The sales associate told her that if she signed up right then and there to get our windshield replaced that we would qualify for $100 off which would bring the cost to replace the windshield down to $200. My technician James Polk was excellent came to my house. told me beforehand that the damage on my roof was already bad and he shouldn't do my windshield but he was gonna do the best he could. ended up doing one of the best jobs fixed my water leaking and explained it step by step. Disappointed. I had my windshield replaced roughly a month ago. And this week small rock hit my windshield and left a small nick. I called Insight to have this small scratch / nick on my windshield fixed but they told me I have to pay $40.00.
