First time going to Insomnia Cookies. I've heard so many good things. While we were inside when another customer told us how delicious these cookies are and that they always stop by for them. This shop is located along Charles St. next to the Cross Street Market. The store smelled so cozy, welcoming and comforting! Such a delicious scent of fresh baked cookies. The inside of the store was very clean and inviting. There's counter space with chairs to sit on. You can enjoy your cookie inside in the warmth instead of outside in the cold. They have milk and other beverages on the menu to go with the cookies (: The worker here, Keisha explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. We got 100% excellent customer service! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. I loved that! We were able to customize our order. Insomnia Cookies has such a huge variety of flavors, it was sooo hard to choose! I couldn't wait to try these cookies with my friend. Their cookies are served warm! We decided to get a pack to try different flavors. We got the Confetti, Cookies 'n Cream, Salted Caramel, Sugar, and Snickerdoodle. I also got a White Chocolate Macadamia. Out of the bunch, the Snickerdoodle was my fave. The cookies in packs are placed into a box for easy portability and transport safe. The cookies recipes are tasty and balanced. They are baked to the perfect texture. Not too soft where they're falling apart (*cough*, like those other ones that are crumbling literally LOL). These cookies can hold their shape together. Nice crisp edges with a softer center. Very enjoyable. For the holiday season 2025, they have 3 special flavors for a limited time. The Candy Cane as described on their website, "brown sugar cookie with peppermint pieces and white chips in every bite", the Holiday Munchie Mix, "brown sugar cookie with bits of chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate chunks, marshmallows and festive red and green M&M's®" and the Jingle bread, "Ginger, molasses, and cinnamon come together in a warm cookie that's soft, chewy, and straight-up craveable". I got some cookies delivered. Me and my partner were unsure about two out of the six we got. We ordered 2 Wildberry Ube, 2 Cherry Limeaid, and 2 Coffee 'n' Cream cookies. The Coffee 'n' Cream cookies seemed like just regular chocolate chunk cookies. So, I called to ask if there may have been a mix up. The store associate was SO KIND AND HELPFUL. She explained the differences between the Coffee 'n' Cream, Chocolate Chunk, and Cookies 'n' Cream. She asked if we tried the cookies. I said yes and they just taste like regular chocolate chunk. She explained she packed it herself and she's sure she packed the right ones. But then she SENT US a box of 2 Coffee 'n' Cream, a Chocolate Chunk, and a Cookies 'n' Cream just so we can see the differences and to make sure we got the right ones!! I didn't have to go pick them up, she sent them out for delivery!!! She even bagged and labeled the cookies, so we'd know which one is which. Best customer service ever. I usually don't write reviews but after my experience last night, something needs to be said. The female employee who worked last night (8/5/2026) is rude and distasteful. I unknowingly asked for a discontinued cookie, the respectful gentleman employee stated the company no longer serves the product, in which I shared my opinion that the company should remove the item from the menu. As I was about to change my order, she uninvitingly enters the conversation, points to the tiniest purple circle on the wall menu and states "it says right there that only select locations still sell it but we're telling you we don't have it here." I looked at her with confusion as her body language was irritable, not to mention her response was unnecessary and redundant. The gentleman gave us our cookie in a small bag and our ice cream in a cup. As we were about to leave, I asked for a box so I could place my items together and enjoy my desert. Well I guess a customer asking her for something annoys her since she hesitated, gave us another bag, and responded "we usually don't give out boxes for 1 item". 1. As you can read in my review I paid for two items. 2. Nevermind what you "usually don't do". I'm a paying customer asking for an item that doesn't come out of your paycheck 3. Learn how to speak to others with respect, especially if that's your job. After all that, she gives us a box anyways when we refused the second bag we didn't ask for. In my opinion, she needs customer service training or to find another job. I feel sorry for the young gentleman who has to work alongside a hostile and aggressive co worker. Went here for the first time after hearing so many great things about their cookies. Upon entering, I saw an interesting exchange with the owner and a customer. The customer had been getting cookies from them, paying on her card, then later having the card declined after a few days; therefore, the restaurant hadn't been paid for their cookies. The lady came back to pay bc she felt horrible that it had been happening, and the owner was so pleasant. He thanked her for her honesty and told her it was on the house. I think that was such a beautiful, humane exchange! I got to speak with the owner about this being my first experience. He was a younger, African American man. He said he had recently acquired the location and that he was proud of his accomplishment. I think that's pretty epic. The cookie (macadamia nut) and ice cream (caramelionaire) were both DELICIOUS! We ordered the peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle. They were packed to go straight out of the oven. Insomnia also has ice cream in case you wish to get a scoop between two of your cookies of choice. They also sell milk and water. We got to the car and popped open that box and went to town on an oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle. The oatmeal raisin could have been baked a couple of more minutes as I picked it up, it began to fall apart. The snickerdoodle held its shape and faired better upon pickup out of the box. Both cookies had a nice taste, but to be honest, we were drawn to Insomnia as it was convenient to where we were late (after 11 pm) that evening and the $1.70 cost per cookie is pretty steep. On any given day, I would go for a sweet treat from an area grocery/convenience store. One thing that Insomnia had going for it is that they will deliver in the area up to 3am in the morning! Haven't had Insomnia Cookies in years probably in about 10 years. Took my cousin here for her first time and she loved it! Fresh, soft, baked cookies. We had the 6ct (4 snickerdoodle, 1 oatmeal raisin and 1 chocolate chunk chip) for $10. The cookies literally fall apart with every bite, but it's a good fall apart lol.
