Chocolate chip deluxe cookie with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. A s'mores deluxe cookie and a classic chocolate chip cookie

Finally made it to Insomnia Cookies! Cookies are fresh, soft and chewy... just the way I like them! They offer brownies and ice cream too! There's plenty of types to choose from. We got a deluxe s'mores and a classic chocolate chip. The deluxe cookies are larger than the classic. We also got brownies and ice cream. Yum yum yum! I also noticed they have vegan options. The spot was clean with small areas to sit and enjoy your sweet treats. Service was good. The guy took our orders... prepared everything accurately and brought it out to us. We will definitely be back!

I requested gift boxes for my order and they weren't able to accommodate them. I'm like a brand ambassador for these fresh baked treats and was disappointed that I couldn't give my friends in Maryland a full experience but as usual the cookies never disappoint. Live, live and laugh -Sha

Who doesn't love fresh cookies? While in the area, we stopped by three nights in a row. Chocolate chunk, Mint chip and oatmeal were among our favorites.

My cookies are always thrown in the box. This time they put the brownie in with everything. So sloppy.

This is my second time visiting Insomnia cookie. The cookies are to die for . The chocolate chip chuck cookies are great . They do have a lot of chocolate in them & are very sweet so make sure you have a drink to wash it down with . The salted Carmel was great also . My kids were excited to try different items on the menu but unfortunately when we arrived a lot of them were not available.

I was in the College Park area last Saturday and decided to try Insomia Cookies. The location is very congested, at least it was on Saturday night. There was hardly any place to park exceot for a "pay to park" lot within walking distance. I coughed up a little over $1 for about 30 minutes of parking. I was only in the store for about 15 minutes so I guess I over paid. Lol! The actual dessert shop is very small. I was hoping to "dine in", but there wasn't any place to sit. A family of 4 and another solo customer were occupying the only available seats. I placed my order to go which meant I had to drive home (25 min) to eat the cookies and ice cream. I ordered the deluxe Peanut Butter Cup cookies ice cream sandwich. The cookies were placed in a small bag and the ice cream was put in a small bowl. The ice cream barely survived the trip home, but I guess thats to be expected. By the time I was able to eat everything the ice cream was soft, but not totally melted. The dessert tasted ok, but I would have preferred to have eaten it at the shop. I chose not to eat it in my car because the car is brand new. No ice cream or cookie crumbs on the seat for me, thanks! Overall I felt like Insomnia is just "Okay". I think the pizookies at BJs are a lot better. I might try this place one more time but during daylight hours. It wasn't a bad product, but it also wasn't anything to write home about. Maybe that's because I couldn't enjoy it right away. I guess I'll find out next time.

You can't go wrong with fresh warm cookies and milk - enough said. ORDER Traditional- 2 Double Chocolate Chip Cookies with milk. Yum! Traditional- 2 M&M cookies with milk The cookies were fresh, soft, moist and melted in your mouth. Chased down with some cold milk made it a complete treat. The customer service was great. When it warms up, I'll be going for a cookiewhich - cookie and Ice Cream! I can't wait. I'm a sucker for cookies AND ice cream. This place delivers up until 3AM. I am unsure how far they go but it's probably a good thing I live a ways, or else I'd be in trouble (ordering cookies at the stroke of midnight when I don't need it). Give yourself a treat and try it!

We went into the store and ordered. They only let one customer at time which was nice as the store was small. We got the brownie with ice cream. The brownie was a little on the hard side but had a lot of flavor to it. The ice cream was also good. It a a nice place to treat yourself. The staff was very friendly too.

Hands-down the best cookies I have had in a long time definitely better than Crumbl cookie...the College Park location is a little bigger than the DC location I first visited...definitely worth the wait

Warm delicious cookies, cold milk, flavorful ice cream-this store has it all! Or at least it does if you're having a major cookie craving. I'll be the first to admit that I'm really picky about cookies. I like well made, consistently baked, homemade style cookies and if that's not what is being offered, I won't eat them! That said, my first visit here was a rainy Friday night when I was craving cookies. Insomnia hit the nail on the head. My husband and I split a six pack of double chocolate chip, chocolate chunk and m&m cookies. Each one was better than the one before it and with some cold milk, it was all around perfection! I do recommend buying milk at the grocery store since the price for a pint is just a little less than a quart of milk from Safeway. Bottom line: you might see me here when you roll in because these cookies are becoming a habit!

I ordered the Snickerdoodle and M&M cookies and they were absolutely delicious and warm. The cookies melt in my mouth. This is a most try and customer service was excellent.

Very yummy cookies, but expensive. Good ice cream. Quite popular among students, and very close to UMD on route 1. Food pic worthy. Also has delivery! I'm not a big cookie person, but I'll admit, Insomnia does have really good cookies. They are warm and soft, and although I haven't tried all the flavors, I am sure they're all good - at least if you get them straight from the store. I also really enjoy their ice cream!!! I've come here multiple times, but only because my friends wanted to go. I don't crave insomnia because I don't love cookies in general. A single cookie is almost 1.5 dollars, and its not a big cookie. BUT, I think the cookiewich is very yummy and wayyy more worth, since you can get 2 cookies and a scoop of ice cream, and also big enough to be shareable!! Also quite high in calories, but lol whatever. Overall, very yummy cookies with good ice cream. A fun place to stop by and spoil yourself with a treat once in a while. You have to at least try it once if youre in college!

College Park…read morelocation has had several additions to their menu that make them even better than they already were. I am a little sad that the donut collaboration ended, but they are still amazing. The cookie nachos allow you to get a tray of a certain number of smaller cookies with a number of frostings as the dip. For example, chocolate cookies with a cookie butter and salted caramel dip.... It's simply to die for. And the cookie pies are great for events -- you have to order it at least a half hour in advance and you get a cookie sheet cake basically. I have only had the cookie butter one so far, but it was awesome and fed a lot more than you would think. I'm not really a soda person so I haven't tried the dirty soda yet, but I did finally try the ice cream, and the salted caramel and ube were fantastic. I ended up getting the ladder between two cookies, and I realized I should probably try it with monsters next time. I found myself not being able to easily bite the cookies without the ice cream falling out. Maybe I should have gotten the cookies warmed up, but ultimately I think bigger cookies would work better. It was an excellent flavor combination. Let's see what's in store for my next cookie venture... They need to bring that Japanese Cheesecake back!!

It's decorated nicely, and is really adorable. On a hot summer's night, I stopped by for ice cream. The place was empty, except for one young woman behind the counter, on her phone. She barely looked up, with a "let me know if I can help you." I ordered my scoops and started waiting while my partner ordered a soft serve. This is apparently a production. I seriously almost finished my ice cream waiting.... But, in the meantime, about ten people in different groups came in. Several wound up just leaving. The one woman who was there started shouting into the back for someone to come help her. After 4-5 attempts, a second woman came out. She had been way too busy chatting with someone on her phone about her car to offer any help -- which she continued to do while she rang me up. I've been to places where I felt like the staff didn't care one way or the other, this one made me feel like I was really interrupting these two ladies' evening of texting and chatting, and they would have preferred nobody came in. That's fine, I don't think I'll make the mistake again.

Ive had more than my share of milk teas here in the US, overseas in the land of boba, Taiwan, and…read morein HK and this place sadly fell short of what it could be. First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

I've been ordering from here almost once a week since I found this place in August 2025, and I…read moreusually stick to my go-to: caramel milk tea with extra sugar, no boba. This time, I noticed they had a pho + milk tea combo, so I ordered it through the app. When my food arrived, I got the pho but there was no broth, just dry noodles. I also ordered beef pho with meatballs, and there were only two tiny meatballs, no beef at all, and the noodles were soggy and overcooked (and not how it looked in the photo advertised). My fiancé took it back so they could fix it. When he got there, he called me so I could speak to the worker. She told me, "I can pour some juice in it, but since you added meatballs, you'd have to buy another $14 combo to get beef because you didn't add beef to your pho." That made no sense why would I order another pho just to get what I already paid for? I told her I did add beef and asked her to check my receipt. She immediately cut me off, said "not my problem," and walked away. I was honestly in shock. I wasn't rude or yelling I just wanted my order corrected. It's just pho, but the customer service made the situation so much worse. She refused a refund or to give me her manager's information. Eventually, she handed my fiancé the soup, but the lid wasn't on correctly, so as soon as he got outside, it spilled all in the bag. At that point, I just threw it away. I'm honestly sad because I loved this place it's such a cute spot to study if you're a student, and the decor is really nice. But after this experience, I probably won't be coming back. I ended up having to order actual pho on Uber Eats, so I spent about $51 out of pocket for a replacement... which is insane in this economy i tried to call to get a hold of a manager to speak about the incident but their business phone number is suspended and is no longer in service I've attached a screenshot of my receipt below with the date to show that I did, in fact, order beef.
