The cookies were very thick, almost like a brownie texture. I liked them, but you definitely need something to drink with them. I had mine with tea that I brewed myself, and it paired well. I ordered through Uber Eats, and the cookies were still warm when they arrived. They were huge. I ordered two cookies and split them in half with my sibling for the holiday. Half of one cookie was enough for one person. I can't comment on the service on the ambience of the place, but I would assume that since it's near College Park, my old university, it's as usual.

My friend came to town, and we were literally looking for a midnight treat after picking her up from the train station. We did the four-pack of monster cookies. We got the oreo cake, caramel pumpkin spice, cinna-roll, and birthday bash. I love how they include instructions on the box for storing and reheating the cookies. My favorites were the Oreo cake and the caramel pumpkin spice. The Oreo cake was so good. I love how Oreo cookie part is infused into the middle of the cookie. The caramel pumpkin spice is the perfect fall flavor, and it's so good, and not overly sweet. My friends favorite was the cinna-roll. The cookies were dense but also gave a cakey vibe. They are also the perfect level of sweetness and flavors really complement each other. The cookies reheat amazingly and taste even better the days that follow. I threw them into the air fryer for 2-3 minutes, and the crispy outside pairs with the soft interior. OH MY GOD. I am not even a cookie person, but I have a new obsession now. The girl at the front who helped us was extremely friendly and provided us with her recommendations of popular options, as well as answering any questions we had. The spot is super cute and definitely a cool spot to chill. I would definitely recommend this spot!!

I specifically was in the area for another cookie place but I saw MidnighTreats instead and I'm so glad I did. The shop was decorated with graffiti on the walls and it looks really cool on the inside. They offer Munchie cookies which are standard sized cookies and Monster cookies which are bigger in size. There are plenty of packages for you to mix and match your cookies. I believe the cookie flavors are typically the same except two rotating flavors. While I was there, I ordered the Strawberry Poptart cookie and Lemon Bar Monster cookies. They were delicious. And the cookies are 100% plant-based. The shop isn't only aesthetically pleasing with delicious treats but the customer service was amazing. The lady running the front was friendly and knowledgeable. I'm so glad I ran across MidnighaTreats and I will visit again.

GOT COOKIES? You bet and they're plant-based perfection! Just discovered MidnighTreats' new location in College Park, MD, and it's officially my new favorite dessert spot. This vegan cookie shop serves up soft, gooey, crave-worthy cookies with bold flavors like: * Super Snickerdoodle * S'mores * Chocolate Chip * The Cinna-Roll * Cookies n Cream Whether you're vegan or not, these cookies are next-level -- rich, satisfying, and full of flavor. The vibe? Fun, modern, and made for late-night sweet tooth runs. Hours: * Sunday-Thursday: 12 PM-12 AM * Friday & Saturday: 12 PM-3 AM Perfect for a post-dinner treat, a late-night snack, or just because. Check them out , your tastebuds will thank you later!

This weekend I checked out Midnight Treats, a Black-owned plant-based cookie spot. I really loved the creativity behind their flavors and the cookies were delicious! I do recommend going with the larger cookies over the smaller ones--they had that perfect gooey texture I was looking for. And don't skip the strawberry oat milk--so good! I'll definitely be revisiting.

If you're in the College Park area, these fresh baked treats are a must-try~ MidnighTreats opened up a shop right by University of Maryland earlier this year, open late so it's perfect for that Late-Night dessert craving. Their treats are Plant-Based / Vegan and the flavors & textures are on-point! They have two types of cookies: Monster (Big & Thick) and Munchies (Regular Sized), as well as Oat Milk Teas and Gelato~ Favorite Items: Raspberry Truffle Monster Chocolate Chip Monster Lemon Sugar High key I wish this was around at College Park when I was attending University there. You can not even tell that these are Vegan cookies, they are so flavorful and moist, beats out plenty of non-Vegan cookies I've had in my life! Gotta love the art and the street vibes on the wall too, very hip haha.

My friend kept telling me there's a new cookie spot that we must try, so we came over to MidnighTreats one evening to check it out. I'm so glad we did! Upon walking in you immediately smell the deliciousness! They have unique flavors sold in two sizes: monster and munchies. What I also love is that they sell leftover cookies for a discounted price! I ordered the oatmeal chocolate cookie munchie (my absolute favorite cookie flavor). The cookies come heated so when eating it melts right in your mouth. It was so delicious! They also sell oat milk drinks and oat milk gelato! I'll definitely be back to try those as well as their other cookie flavors!

Leftovers were discounted. I didn't like that they were sitting out like that, tbh

I would recommend this shop if you want a quick sweet bite! I had 6 of the monster cookies and two of the mini or regular sized cookies The monsters were too thick and doughy, but the minis were just perfect The service was great! She answered my questions and helped me pick the cookies I wanted. I was able to get parking right out front, which was so convenient. Inside decor looked cool, vibrant and welcoming. I would return to get the mini cookies next time I have a craving for sweets. Check out my video reviews and more on my various platforms: CocoaAlmondJoy/CocoasJoy

Midnight Treats took the old location of Insomnia Cookies, so the setup is the same. The shop was clean and the signage is easy to read. All the cookies are vegan, which was my first time experiencing. The cookies come in 2 different sizes and are warm. The chocolate chip cookie I didn't like as it was very doughy and lacking flavor but the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie I would definitely recommend! The service was great, and the personnel was informative.

The pieces missing just shows you we had to try them immediately!!

It's decorated nicely, and is really adorable. On a hot summer's night, I stopped by for ice cream. The place was empty, except for one young woman behind the counter, on her phone. She barely looked up, with a "let me know if I can help you." I ordered my scoops and started waiting while my partner ordered a soft serve. This is apparently a production. I seriously almost finished my ice cream waiting.... But, in the meantime, about ten people in different groups came in. Several wound up just leaving. The one woman who was there started shouting into the back for someone to come help her. After 4-5 attempts, a second woman came out. She had been way too busy chatting with someone on her phone about her car to offer any help -- which she continued to do while she rang me up. I've been to places where I felt like the staff didn't care one way or the other, this one made me feel like I was really interrupting these two ladies' evening of texting and chatting, and they would have preferred nobody came in. That's fine, I don't think I'll make the mistake again.

It's the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, packed with real mango flavor, creamy coconut milk, juicy mango chunks, and chewy sago pearls. It's my go-to treat, especially on a warm day. First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

However, I would say that the music plays from a little Bluetooth on the corner of the restaurant and it's not the greatest quality, would cut in and out, and it was just blaring way too loud, making it hard to have regular conversations. Service wasn't too bad overall. There was only one weight staff who had all the tables in the restaurant which made her spread out pretty thin. But we wouldn't get regular refills or Water and took so long to get water (waiting up to 20 min to try to get her attention) and at the end of our time together she finally gave us a pitcher of Water, but a little late as we're most done. Also, it took a while to get basic things we had ordered coffee but either she forgot to bring us coffee or she didn't ring it in and we weren't able to get it until after our food was delivered. So service, while she was friendly and kind, our service was definitely subpar. Hopefully this wasn't bc she had automatic tip bc our party was so large for her lack of service. 1/5 for service The food was amazing for the most part. I had gotten the salmon BLT and it was moist and tender with good flavor and seasoning, and the bread had a great texture and flavor to it as well. The bacon was nice and smoky and the sauce that was paired with it made it great. The hashbrowns were so crispy and seasoned with great flavor and salt! This was a winner! 4.5/5 Yeah, I got a bunch of other dishes, but I only tried small bites here and there of other people stuff. What I would say, is that the Cajun pasta shrimp was cooked perfectly and was tender and had great flavor! And that sauce was amazing! The sausage I tried wasn't the best but decent! We got biscuits and wings as appetizers, and the wings were great, good flavor, good crunch, and a decent size. However, there needs to be more wings in the order for the price. The hot honey sauce as good! 4/5 The biscuits were pretty moist and had a great texture and consistency, You get two for the order! 4/5 Overall, the food is pretty amazing. However, the service was pretty bad. Maybe this was a one off but just prepared for a long waits for everything from water to getting a drink order.
