Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll.... I never knew I needed this in my life and I can't stop thinking about it since I went.... Sooooo yummy....and massive!!! What I can't understand is the texture - how they managed to keep the cinnamon roll hot and fresh, the peaches oooey and gooey, and the star of the show - the flacky cobbler crust..OH MY!!!!!!! Nostalgic flavors all mixed in one bite...Every single bite bursting with yummmmmm...

Stopped in here on a Saturday to satisfy my sweet tooth and left with zero regrets! I saw a post about when the cinnamon rolls would come out the oven and went right over. This is a small bakery and three people are allowed in at a time, so there was a line, however it moved pretty quickly. I got the lemon blueberry cinnamon roll, that was still very warm. It was *chefs kiss.* Thing to note: they post the menu the night before on their website, and I highly recommend following their instagram to know when things come out the oven, and just for the visuals

This is @sugarvaultdesserts I was excited about this one but unfortunately, my excitement was not fulfilled Now customer service was AMAZING! Very friendly and professional from the moment we walked in the door! Here's what we got: Strawberry Crunch Rum Cake 6/10 The alcohol was just too overpowering (and I love rum cakes). I couldn't really taste the flavor of the cake. Pineapple Upside Down Rum Cake 6/10 Same as the strawberry cake. The rum was so overwhelming. There was no balance. Red Velvet Cupcake 7/10 I was expecting to be wowed and just wasn't. It was a basic red velvet cupcake Sweet Potato Cheesecake 8.5/10 The cheesecake itself is very good! A nice mixture and balance of cheesecake and sweet potato. But it's covered with (I think) Cinnamon Toast Crunch...that has zero crunch. I just don't think the cereal is necessary on this one Peach Cobbler 6.5/10 It was literally peaches (that could be cooked more), cinnamon, and nutmeg. I like mine a little thicker and more "cobbler" Banana Pudding 5/10 This was a basic banana pudding (with not many bananas to be found). There wasn't even a taste of banana. Generic pudding and vanilla wafers. While none of the items were horrible, they all could have been a lot better for the price point! I would love to try them again in hopes for a different experience. #baltimorefoodblog #baltimorefoodie #baltimorefoodfinder #baltimoreblogger #baltimorerestautants #eatmorebmore #charmcityfood #charmcityeats #dmvfoodfinder #dmvfoodie #dmveats #dmvrestaurants #eastcoasteats #marylandeats #blackgirlblogger #blackgirleats #blackgirlfoodie #newfoodfinds #boujieblackgirl #wherewebouttoeatat #bmorecity #bmorecityfood ##dmvdesserts #dmvsweets

I finally made it here and to my surprise I was extremely disappointed... First, upon my arrival there was a crazy long line outside so for that line to form the desserts must be delicious! So I ordered 2 of the cheese cake banana pudding strawberry cinnamon roll and a bakers dozen. My total came to $120 something. The cheesecakes were delicious!! And worth the $17 they charged me for them. Honestly 1 was more than enough for my husband and I to share. The banana pudding, strawberries and cinnamon roll pieces paired so well...all my favorites. Now my cupcakes- unfortunately I was disappointed in them. I'm not sure how long they were in the box and sitting before me taking them but they were hard and stale. I was really disappointed. For what I paid for them, I was expecting them to be moist and melt upon the bite in my mouth! Lmaooooooooo!!!!!!!! So I reached out to the owner/Manager and Sam offered to have me pick up another dozen. I appreciated the effort to get my order right. So 4 stars it is... As long as I never have to stand in that line, I would definitely come here again for a cheese cake banana pudding strawberry cinnamon roll treat!

Just like every other time I've come, no complaints. I try to arrive when they open to ensure I don't miss out on any desserts I want. The only thing I would change about about SVD is moving them to a larger location. I would love to be able to enjoy my dessert before getting home. But that also might be a bad thing lol. The service is always fast and welcoming.

Sugar Vault NEVER misses! I raced from work on a Friday and ran into the bakery with 5 minutes to spacer before closing. The customer ahead of me took the last strawberry crunch rum cake and I truly thought all hope was lost since that's my go-to item. I knew I wanted the strawberry snickerdoodle cookie and grabbed that, then settled on the Amaretto Oreo cake. LAWD that thang was too good! I wish they sold the Oreo Amaretto cake more frequently. I was just overjoyed with this cake on a Friday night. BEWARE: You might want to eat their cakes in one sitting. The cookie was yummy as well but that Amaretto Oreo Cake was BOMB! Get in line and get ya self some!

Cookie Monster cheesecake and red velvet egg nog cinnamon roll

Never in my life did I think someone could charge $18 for a cinnamon roll and I'd pay for it. $18 for a slice of cheesecake is a little more reasonable but still absurd. Both looked amazing but didn't taste that way. The cinnamon roll was soft but had no red velvet taste. Also, the egg nog wasn't very noticeable in the icing. The cheesecake was light but had no flavor. The best part was the cookie dough on top. I think no matter how good these were I would never come back due to the insane prices.

Sugar Vault gets me EVERY time. My daughter brings these cupcakes home -- specifically red velvet and chocolate -- to sabotage me. My discipline is non existent with sweets, especially chocolate cupcakes. The icing is smooth. I wish it was more buttery, but it'll do. The cake consistency could be a little more moist, but again, it's not horrible. I'll eat two in one sitting, so it must not be that bad. The decorations are also enticing. Depending on the flavor you get, you may have cookie crumbles or Kit Kat pieces sitting atop waiting for you to indulge. Give it a try.

I finally decided to stop by the Sugar Vault after months of stalking their Instagram. After looking at their very limited online menu for the day, only one item (their cookie butter cheesecake) caught my eye. In the end I decided to pick up a cheesecake for myself and a few items for my family. I ultimately purchased 2 Neapolitan cheesecake cakes, 1 carrot cake banana pudding, 1 strawberry crunch rum cake and 1 cookie butter cheesecake which totaled over $85. The cheesecake was surprisingly a 3.5/5, although it could've been a 5/5 if there were either cookie butter or the actual cookies mixed into the batter. All of the cookie butter was only on the top of the cake, leaving the flavor profile predominately being plain cheesecake. I did sample the other items as well and I surprisingly enjoyed the Neapolitan (which is definitely enough for two people) even though it was very rich. The carrot cake banana pudding was delicious and the highlight of the night (a true 5/5), and this is coming from someone who doesn't particularly care for banana pudding. The rum cake, which definitely has rum in it, (especially seeing that it's sitting in an pool of liquid) was just ok to me. All in all I'd definitely stop by again, even though I wish that their menu was more extensive. FYI: I got their exactly at 12 on a Friday and there was already about 5 people ahead of me and when I left there were about 10 people in line and two people running across traffic to get in line. I can only imagine how busy it is on a Saturday.

This place is delicious!!! Drove 40 mins to get here and it was absolutely worth the drive. It's a little pricey. But you get what you pay for and this is quality dessert! The cinnamon rolls are to die for. I got the red velvet Oreo cinnamon roll...OMG like how do you combine all of that deliciousness! The icing is perfection. My son got the fruity pebbles cake and it was pretty good. The banana pudding was so good. The red velvet cupcakes were good but not super fresh. The Kit Kat red velvet was very moist, but the regular red velvet wasn't as soft and fresh tasting. (That's why I gave 4 stars). Just skip the cupcakes. But DO NOT skip the cinnamon roll. And go early!!! I almost missed the cinnamon roll because I got there 1.5 hours after opening. Yes, it's that serious lol

I often think about this place. The day I stopped by was completely unplanned but something in my spirit told me that I was in the neighborhood where the bakery was located. Not one single regret either. The team was very friendly. They even gave me a scoop of ice cream on top of what I ordered. Now, I personally ordered the Peach Cobbler cheesecake! Whew, Sweet baby Jesus that thing was so GOOD! My sweet tooth thanks you all!

Was out having an excursion day I Hyattsville with the wife.We passed by this space, and she had me turn around because she heard of these great black owned bakery. Unfortunately, we were there a little past 5, but to our delight, they still let us in. The place is small but pleasant. It's a little pricey but worth every penny.

That being said, don't be surprised if the person assisting you knows little or no English. The pastries are all behind glass cases, and things didn't look disturbed from day-to-day, which gives me the impression they aren't removed overnight, but I am making a broad generalization (thus, my assumption should be taken with a grain of salt). The pastries are of great quality, though. They are flaky, light, and tasty. I was surprised, since it's a huge departure from the sugary, syrupy concoctions offered in most malls, airports, and coffee shops. The real star here is the price, though. Two pastries (one a pineapple empanada, the other a large equivalent to an eclair or canoli) cost less than $3 with tax. If I ever happen upon this neighborhood, I definitely know where I will satiate my morning sweet tooth craving.
