Placed a late-night order at 10:11pm and was told delivery would be 10:25-10:35pm. Then it got pushed to 10:40-10:50pm. I called the store and was told it was already on the way and couldn't be canceled. They said delivery times are usually longer than what the app shows because they use their own drivers. By 11:10pm, my order still hadn't arrived (almost an hour late), so I contacted support and was given yet another delivery estimate of 11:28pm. The cookies finally showed up at 11:20pm. The cookie was honestly a bit smaller than I imagined for the price of $4 but it was served nicely warm with decently sweet Strawberry flavor, solid texture (could be a bit crunchier), and a nicely complementing strawberry lemonade jam filling which I enjoyed. We ordered two cookies, peanut butter and the Brookie since I have a soft spot for both. I loved the flavors in both of them, they were incredibly soft and chewy. They were straight from the oven so all we needed was just a glass of milk. The gal serving us was very nice, and we were the only ones in there at that time, spacious area, but no tables inside. No worries though, there is plenty of seating outside. They had ice cream but we decided to save that for next time. I went to Insomnia Cookies on 2/26 around 9pm with a friend, and unfortunately had a really uncomfortable experience. As soon as we walked in, one of the employees (female, college-aged- literally around my age) said something along the lines of, "Whenever I want to speak my truth, someone always walks in," then looked directly at us and said "no offense," like we were supposed to laugh. It was awkward and honestly really immature. We had just walked in to buy cookies and immediately felt like we were inconveniencing her. I also work in the food industry, so I understand how shifts can be. But comments like that in front of customers are unprofessional- especially when it wasn't even busy. We were actually celebrating an important occasion and were looking forward to getting cookies. I honestly wanted to walk out because it felt so uncomfortable, but I didn't want to leave my friend. Both ice creams weren't too sweet, and they came with brownie pieces and white chocolate stars. I also ordered a S'mores deluxe cookie which was perfectly gooey on the inside. There was no line when I went on a weekday afternoon, and the person working was incredibly nice. Overall, I would definitely come back.
