Handel never disappoints. I have been to four locations by far, and every one has been consistently amazing. The portion size is fair (my photo shows a small cake cone), and the ice cream is packed with flavor without being overly sweet. There are many flavors to choose from, and you get to sample as many flavors as you want. My favorite is the strawberry cheesecake, where you can taste bits of cheesecake chunks. There are several tables that are shared with the rest of the plaza outdoors. We went during $4 Tuesdays (small cup or cone for $4). The pictures on the menu were fun, but a lot of our party had difficulty reading the descriptions of the flavors. They give a generous portion event for a small. Omg talk about big portions here and high quality ice cream! It was a rainy day so I got to sample a few flavors which were all so good with thick ice cream consistency. I landed on the small cone with the flavor: Monkey Business (4.5/5): This flavor is the banana battered ice cream base with chunks of brownies, real banana pieces, and a caramel swirl. I like how the base tasted like real bananas instead of the artificial banana flavor and the rich, fudge brownie chunks went well with the real banana chunks mixed in. The icecream standard is maintained as with all other Handel's Icecream places I've been too (San Diego, Jamboree Rd). There's a slight noticeable difference in serving size depending on which location you go to - but I think it just depends on the people who work there hahaha. There's a line, as expected, but the line goes by reasonably fast as there are at least three workers manning the stations. We got the four scoop sampler - well priced at $7 to try 4 different flavors! Tried a 4 scoop sampler for $7.95 to try a variety of different flavors, and got two waffle cones (extra $1 each), ended up scooping two scoops into the waffle cone. Strawberry was solid and mint chocolate chip was also good, the peach was decent with solid tiny chunks of real peach, personally was not a huge fan of the salty caramel truffle, it was just a bit too salty and the texture was different. The menu was a bit overwhelming with a lot of flavors to try, did not ask if samples of the flavors would be possible. Since there was no line in front of us, the cashier was patient and took our order timely without rushing, but immediately as we were about to order, a huge line started to form behind us. SERVICE WAS UNACCEPTABLE! There was a worker who went by 'Ella' or 'Ella Vida' .
