Update: I may or may not have found out that you cannot checkin to a business within 2 hours of checking in to a business. I may or may not have gone here twice today... I'm so excited that Insomnia cookies have come to Mobile!!! (Somehow I missed that info until yesterday!) Thanks @yelpmobile for the post! I have always thought that there should be a place to get dessert late at night! And this place stays open till 3am!!! If only I lived in the delivery radius!! Well, on second thought...maybe it's a good thing! My oh so thoughtful hubby went today and surprised us with some and what a treat!!! I was wishing they would open on in mobile ever since I had it in Birmingham. The cookies are so delicious and warm. My sister and I waited in line because I have raved about them so much. They did well with having everyone social distance ( limited people in the store and standing apart from one another). The staff were kind even though it was obvious they were overwhelmed. The cookies taste good. But their service is extremely unprofessional. I ordered the cookies one hour in advance online. When I got there I had to wait in line 20 mins just to get to the counter to let them know I was there to pick up. Then they told me to wait a min, they were preparing my order. With an hour in advance! Making me late for work. In total I have waited for these cookies for an extra 30 mins than my pick up time. read more

We've got one in Hattiesburg, MS. Just found out about the one here in Mobile. My son-in-law picked up some at lunch but we only got one apiece. So when the Bama game started we decided to make a "COOKIE RUN!!!" We are always willing to wait 10 minutes for fresh, out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies!!! On top of that, anyone who came in I.C. without a mask was offered one. The server brought the cookies out to our car so we waited in the car listening to good music. The cookies were so delicious!! DO NOT go to this location! I ordered my cookies an hour ahead of time, when I called to ask if I could come pick them up they told me yes that they were ready. After I get there to pick them up they said I had to wait. After 30 minutes go by I ask them again if it is ready and the manager (TY) got an attitude with me.. I walk outside to wait because the store is filling up and as people are walking out every single one of them told me he was talking crap about me and being rude! So unprofessional!!! Just awful. Three times, I've received over-cooked cookies, which is remarkable considering that's all they really do (you know, bake cookies). They sell their frozen dough online, so I'm guessing all the cookies are from frozen, which tracks since it takes them 15-30 to do an order. I guess I was naive to think they were made from scratch (or close to it). Maybe, I'm wrong on that, but I also find $3 for a cup of buttercream icing to be a bit high (add a $1 for a few sprinkles). I could forgive much if the service was great, but it's just awful. It's just a sad sad place, and they sell cookies and ice cream. How do you make that sad? I'll tell you-- with surly attitudes and mumbled communication. It's a shame that someone, somewhere went to a lot of trouble to build this place, and then just left it to suck. read more
