A place that, by all rights, should be in a hip LA district or some high priced shopping mecca, not wedged between surf shops and dime-a-dozen fast fashion joints. Yet, here it stands, holding its own. I don't pretend to understand women's casual fashion, but even I can recognize quality when I see it. High-end labels. Carefully curated pieces. Stuff that doesn't scream "I bought this off a clearance rack at a strip mall." This is where the sharp-dressed, boho-chic crowd comes to play. A word to the wise: if you see something you like, buy it. Boutique shopping is a cruel mistress--wait too long, and that perfect piece will be gone, never to return. This would have been alright if she had not proceeded to greet and chat with the next five or so white customers who came in. Additionally, every time my mom went to pick up an accessory, smell a candle, or just look at an object for longer than a few seconds, the woman behind the register would come up to us and quite literally look at and inspect whatever we had just touched. Her eyes followed us wherever we were in the store. I was appalled. Never had I been treated with such disrespect, and her lack of respect and human decency towards my mother was unacceptable. My custom board was received with multiple dings and scratches. They used foam wrap at the ends of the board which isn't sufficient at all when UPS is handling the delivery. They offered a measly $200 refund while they probably pocketed the rest of the UPS claim money for the board.
