Chris knows her stuff! We had tried designing our master closet on a couple online interactive sites, but after hours of trying got nothing but frustrated. Being armed with drawings and photos to show Chris, she had our closet designed in less than 30 minutes! Then she suggested some as-ons (belt rack, tie rack, etc) and some beautiful finishing touches like a top shelf that goes across the top of the whole closet and hangs over 1" all around, which really finishes the whole thing. And it came out much less expensive than we expected, so we were able to install closet organizers in the wall-in closet in my husband's home office as well. And then the install guys got it all done in one day. I cannot recommend Inspired Closets and Chris Croll enough! read more

If you decide to work with this company, please be aware that the company does NOT guarantee that the 3D interactive graphic designs that they provide you are 100% accurate. We hired Inspired Closets to design and install a new custom closet and desk space for our son's existing double closet area, largely on the basis of their positive online reviews as well as their apparent design skills. Our designer, Joel, who is also the owner, provided us a 3D interactive design that looked great but unfortunately the design DID NOT look like the final installed product. The desk surface was supposed to extend across the entirety of the closet space area according to the 3D designs, but in reality the desk surface stopped short of the left closet pillar by six inches. As a result, the final product has an amateurish final appearance due to the large gap between the left desk edge and the left closet pillar. The installation team was surprised that the final product did not look like the design we showed them and were at a loss as to why the design and final product didn't look the same. Instead of the right closet space being a desk area and the left closet space being a custom closet, the closet area extended into the planned desk area. At that moment, we checked the product specifications for the desk dimensions and they matched up to the order, however, they did not match up to the 3D designs that we had relied on. We had assumed that since we had hired a designer that as customers we could rely on the designer's work and that their product specifications would match up with their 3D designs, since they were providing both design and installation services. Following installation, we reached out to Joel on multiple occasions to communicate to him that the final product did not match up with the design intent that we had communicated to him nor with the 3D graphics that he had provided. His comment back to us was that he didn't guarantee that the 3D designs would be 100% accurate. Now, we have hired many contractors over the years and this is the first time a contractor has said that their final design work wasn't guaranteed to be 100% accurate. If the customer has to double check the designer's work, there's no reason to hire a designer. Our learning is that hiring a handyman would have been a superior choice, especially for the $5k that we spent with this company and for the lack of owner interest in resolving a post-installation customer satisfaction issue. Inspired Closets was excellent to work with for all the closet organization and custom cabinetry projects that I had completed around the home. I first reached out to have the downstairs guest bedroom closet re-done to maximize storage and space efficiency, and also to have custom cabinets installed in the laundry room. The whole process from start to finish went very smoothly, and Chris was awesome to collaborate with for ideas and suggestions. She came by for an in-home consultation, and also took very precise measurements for each room so I was able to effectively utilize every inch of space. I also appreciated the wide breadth of options available for cabinet door styles as well as cabinet colors and finishes. Not every custom cabinetry company had what I was looking for, but Inspired Closets was able to offer exactly what I had in mind. This made the design process with Chris very easy and fun. A couple months after completing the guest room closet and laundry room, I reached out again to Chris to complete the second phase, which included a hallway closet and the loft space, which was a more extensive project. The loft included a custom built entertainment center with a matching upper floating shelf along the left side, and a custom built-in computer desk (with a platform that slides out for the computer tower) along the right side. Again, Chris was amazing to collaborate with, and she was able to provide some excellent recommendations on how to meet the requirements that I had for each space. Both installation teams who came out to work on both closets, the laundry room, and the loft did a stellar job with the install. Each crew was professional, experienced, worked hard, and paid attention to the smallest details, which really impressed me since I have a keen eye for detail. They also cleaned up really well after each job, and left each space clean and organized. I absolutely loved working with Inspired Closets and especially Chris both times, and I look forward to working with them yet again for any future home organization project! read more

This 2nd review is long overdue. After our initial garage project, we gave the rest of the house to inspired project. We worked with the same design consultant - Bob - who did great listening to us and making the changes we requested. When it came to the install, they missed a hanging rod that we had asked for. We mentioned it to Bob and he didn't make any excuses - said that it will be taken care of. You might think that a hanging rod is going to be a simple addition but it is not due to how they support it in their design. So somebody had to come out and remove a few things and re-manufacture a few panels and then get it done. But they got it done. We also noticed later that one of our key cabinets was not centered properly. Since Bob was not available due to some personal engagements, I contacted the owner at this point. The owner himself came to our place, checked the measurements and got things fixed. Fine - there were a couple of issues but really happy that the company stood besides us and addressed the issues. I worked with Bella to purchase and install cabinet hardware at our rental property. One challenge we had to work with is we are not local to the area. Therefore, we were unable to meet, see the hardware, and discuss our vision in person. I emailed Bella pictures of the cabinet doors and drawers with measurements along with some inspiration pictures. The next day, Bella identified the exact hardware we were looking for and emailed/texted us pictures from the showroom. After we confirmed, she whipped up a quote and squeezed us into the schedule the following week. Install was perfect. We are ocd and the main reason we went with Inspired Closers is because they have the tools and jigs to perfectly center the hardware. We were having a new hardwood floor installed so we had to schedule after the floor was done. We scheduled for end of June, but the floor was done early, so Inspired rescheduled us with no problem. A few days before the install, Bob came back out to just double check the measurements because our access to the crawlspace is through one of the closets. I really appreciated that he wanted to get it perfect. The installation was schedule for 1 full day and by 3pm it was done. The installer did a very nice job with the installation and left the area cleaner than it was when he arrived. My closet was just installed this morning and I couldn't be happier! It's beautiful! I worked with Lorah (who really knows her stuff) to design the closet. She showed me great options for my space that was able to meet my needs. At one point I went to the showroom to look at finishes and I met the owner there. He was very friendly. He looked busy when I walked in but he never rushed me. I know I'm a small job to them but he made me feel very welcome in the showroom. I had carpets installed in my primary bedroom and closet in 2022. The company misaligned my closet system by forcing the carpet underneath the unit. I called Inspired Closets to repair the unit ( this was installed in 2015). The closet installer was quick only took 15 minutes to align the drawers back. Never went into the showroom. We only had a closet consultation. Designer was really nice, punctual. Some things we wanted, the designer said it wasn't possible. She drew up some designs and only emailed me one of the two designs along with the estimate for the whole project. If you're gonna send me an estimate for a, b, c.. Send me all of those plans. Hello! The designer followed up with us. Ultimately, we went with another closet company that could do everything we wanted (including what the 3 Day Closets designer said was not possible). They were able to do what 3 Day could or would not and they sent me all the designs with the estimate. We considered 3 Day Closets. It's hard to get the ball rolling and have a consultation, set designs, and get an install date because these closet companies are so busy. So yeah, we considered just settling and just going with them just to get it over with but I'm glad we didn't settle. read more

It's almost a month since Inspired closet built our Master closet and laundry area. They did an amazing job! It took me about 1.5 years to find inspired closet; of course I searched, reviewed and even consulted about 3 other companies but nothing close to inspired Closet. Through Inspired Closets reviews; my husband and I proceeded using them. I called the owners; who were very nice, thorough, explained the process and told us that we would be working with the designer throughout completion of our project. Our designer was and "IS" Gary who worked with us from beginning to completion. This young soul is a pro; the love for what he does shows, passion beyond explanation, highly knowledgeable about the project, required materials, his expertise, guidance and taking all the time to explain the project exceeded our expectations. He took time to really understand what we wanted and was able to design our closet and laundry area. He made several changes, suggestions, ideas, frequent phone calls, texts and emails to ensure we indeed liked the final design prior to placing the order. Gary took time to explain every details since this is not our area of expertise. He was patient with us; texted us pics to choose from. Indeed a very responsive and accommodating designer. We are happy.... Our neighbors call our new closet and laundry area the ''holly wood" closet. I mean every detail came out as we wanted and as the company had indicated on the final design. Installers: Before and on the day of installation; we received numerus calls from the lead installer who went over the installation process. I hired 3 Day Closets for Closets in our new house. We paid more money to get custom closets but the job is very bad quality. The work is not done as we were told by their design person and very very bad finishing by them . Not custom closets and cabinets have too much of gaps between baseboards and closets in my closets.
