Tilt is a family-oriented business that does top quality work. We had Tilt mount a 60" tv in our living room and we can't be happier with the result. We thoroughly enjoyed having Ricardo (and his electrician Danny) in our home--they're both incredibly professional, courteous and friendly. Yes, they're here to do a job, but it's just so much more pleasant to work with people who are genuine and kind. Ricardo is a young guy, but he's going about running his business the right way: delivering first-class customer service and building long-term relationships with his customers instead of focusing on nickel and diming and upselling to drive profits. There are a few other five-star-rated tv mounting businesses in LA, but please be aware that not all of them follow the National Electric Code. If you are having your tv mounted and you want the cables hidden, your tv's power cord should not run through the wall. Should a fire result, your insurance co may use this to get out of covering the damage. Instead there should be a standalone outlet installed behind your tv. I specifically asked about this when getting quotes and one of the other highly rated tv mounting shops explicitly said they don't do this. When I asked Ricardo about this, he stated that this is the reason he brings along a licensed electrician. Yes, the cost may be slightly higher but it's about doing the job the right way. During the installation, Ricardo and Danny were efficient yet thorough. They kept me apprised of the progress throughout and regularly consulted me on placement and adjustments. They were able to place the mount, install the additional outlet and run the necessary cables through without making any unnecessary holes--no patching/painting needed! They also helped to reconnect the cable box and other components. He even insisted on using 4K-rated HDMI cables to future-proof the job. As I said, Tilt is focused on delivering first-class customer service. They are professional, courteous and focused on doing the job right--as in up to code. The pricing was very very reasonable and Ricardo was still willing to work with us on the price (including labor, outlet, mount and cables). I strongly, strongly recommend using Tilt for any TV mounting needs. I'd say don't bother calling any other companies--Ricardo will be sure to take good care of you. (Though if you insist, please make sure to ask about the electrical issue noted above.) read more

These guys did an EXCELLENT & CLEAN JOB wall-mounting my new 60" Samsung LED and my old Aqous LCD at my new home. Both sets were mounted right where I wanted them, with the wires hidden completely behind the walls. Before a single hole was drilled, Danny and his assistant made sure I was okay with the height and angle of each TV. They made sure I was going to have enough HDMI cables running from behind the walls for my Apple TVs, XBOX (Wii in the 2nd room) and Cable Boxes. First off, I called on a Friday afternoon expecting to schedule at a later date, but they were able to squeeze me in at end of their day. Rick and Felix showed up on time as promised. They wore masks and wore protective covers on their shoes. They were extremely friendly and professional. They gave me good advice as to what mount and cables I would need.
