I arrived on site before the posted opening hour of 8 a.m. But the staff was already busy getting set up for the day so by the time I completed my curbside paperwork and inspected the car, I was on the road by 7:59 a.m. That alone was quite impressive. The car was clean, had a full tank of gas and was a pleasure to drive. Upon returning the car, the transaction was equally quickly completed and I was on my way in no time at all. Have to give the staff credit for suitably adapting to provide excellent customer service outdoors due to the COVID 19 circumstances. They even offered outdoor seating for customers in shaded spots but I never had the time, or need, to sit down because there really was not waiting. Not all of my car rental experiences over the years have been so efficient and so professionally handled. The team at Enterprise really made the process painless and even quite pleasant. Hope no more falling limbs are in my future but for any future rental car needs I now know I can rely on Enterprise.

Your customer service today was above and beyond careless and ignorant (with 5 explanation marks) - this is my first bad review I've ever written (hint hint). Dear Enterprise, according to your employee, Justin, your system is old and out of date. He doesn't understand why it allows people to book cars even if there isn't one available to rent. Today, after reserving a vehicle, I spent $27.44 on an Uber ride to get to your location on 1001 W Kennedy blvd. Justin informed me that they don't have any cars here for rent and offered me to stay there until one is returned - "could be a day or two" he said. I'm currently waiting for another uber ride (estimated $36.89) to Tampa International Airport to rent another car (not from you or your affiliate). My plans have been ruined and I'm $60+ out of pocket. Not that it matters to you, but today, you lost a loyal business customer who rented cars from you (Enterprise only) for the past 9 years. Please hire and train more Justins so you can ruin more people days

When I received my vehicle it came with only 5/8 of a fuel tank which I found a little frustrating. I had about a 3.5 hour drive and this meant I was going to have to stop for gas now on my way. Because of this, I was originally going to give this a four star, however, the staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly that it deserved a five star. When I came to return my vehicle, the staff was very helpful in terms of where to put it. They were there waiting for me when I got back and even remembered my name. Additionally, I had accidentally forgotten one of my phones in the car and they found it, held it at the desk for me, and were very eager to give it back to me when I returned. The staff here goes above and beyond in so many ways!!

On Friday afternoon, I received a voicemail stating that they didn't have a vehicle available for us. How does a company accept reservations, only to cancel at the last minute? That alone is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I noticed on Saturday morning that they had still charged me for the rental. I called to confirm I would be refunded, and during that conversation, the representative "double-checked" their system and suddenly found a vehicle available. She assured me that while they didn't have one when they left the voicemail, they now did. Relieved, we walked from the port to the rental location, only to wait in line for 45 minutes--just to be told once again that they actually did not have a vehicle for us. This level of disorganization and lack of reliability is beyond frustrating. A rental car company should be able to manage reservations properly, yet reading other reviews, it's clear that this is not an isolated incident. Alamo (along with its parent company, Enterprise Holdings, which also owns Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental) has proven to be completely unreliable. If you want to gamble on whether or not you'll actually get a car, go ahead and book with them. But if you value your time and want a guaranteed rental, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
