I knew that it had to have been broken when she was in for her recent oil change. I told my wife about it and she insisted that she contact Grease Monkey to let them know that the broken latch HAD to have happened when she was last there for service. Upset, I told her not to bother because I was sure that they would deny that it happened when she was there. She called the manager anyway and told him about the broken latch. To make a long story short, the manager had her bring the car in and they replaced the broken latch and cable with no hassle whatsoever! I was so impressed with what they did, I TOO will not go anywhere else for routine service. KUDOs to the people and manager at Grease Monkey!

In a nutshell Air Condition fiasco (Thornton Meineke store #2728) months after paying to replace the AC compressor AC stopped blowing cold - went back and paid for the system to be recharged (Maybe Brighton Meineke store #1699 can make sense of this AC issue) 1 year and 1 month after recharging the AC system - had to pay to have the system recharged again 2 months after recharging the AC system - was told the compressors not kicking on - paid to have the compressor replaced and the system recharged 7 months after new compressor and system charge - AC not blowing cold - informed that everything works, the system just needs to be recharged After all that where I'm at today - told that the compressor is not the issue, it was the connection (which was connected by a Meineke tech) Shocks & Struts fiasco 1 month after installation of shocks and struts - oil leaking from both shocks - shocks need to be replaced 5 months after installation of shocks and struts - clanking sound from front end - drivers side strut needed to be replaced 4 months after installation of shocks and struts - clanking sound from front end - passenger side strut needed to be replaced To date: 6/2/26 per Mark McKenzie (regional manager), I asked for a refund of the compressor, since I paid for two compressors in a year and ten months. UNFORTUNATELY he's not able to give a refund because the compressor works. EXACTLY why I'm asking for a refund, because the compressor works and the incompetence of the tech who installed it has been costing me time and money. Back and forth to no avail. As a business owner, I mentioned that we have a fleet account. Joshua wasn't immediately sure how to process the charges through the business fleet account, but he assured me he would find out. When the service was complete, he went over everything with me again and let me know he had successfully processed the service through our fleet account.
